Norm is a comic for layman and simpletons. He is not particularly sophisticated. I think you will find the pool of individuals that find him to be the funniest comic who ever lived, very very small. Leaving you with few to relate to. Norm is talented to be sure, and his gimmicks are subtle, but his humor is not particularly intelligent as many profess. I can think of at least 20 overall better comics off the top of my head. Comedy is subjective, however, so I don’t disparage your opinion, just the idea that you only relate to people who would agree with you on this.

He has a wife and two kids, and he is living in America, where if one person says something offended him or her, his job could be in jeopardy. In his shoes, after he said you could “get locked in the gaze” and start thinking “this guy is making a lot of sense,” to keep my job, I would have done the exact same thing. one thing becomes very clear in this time after Norms death, he was a comedians comedian, we got snipetts of his humor, but people who knew him personally got the full monty.

Norm must have hated the Stern interview. They're all laughing before he tells the joke. They laugh at the dumbest parts of the joke. True professional, to keep telling the joke.

Amsterdam was great. Went there on July 4th for four days and it was amazing. We’re walking down the street and there’s naked women in each window. And they were all reading a book. And right across the street from the main police station is the Milky Way. It’s a 5 story building with a farmers shop where you can get all sorts of stuff. And a bar on the second floor. And three different freak shows on the rest. A great place. I highly recommend it. 👍👍😎
