+Dieting On Classic if you watch the Deezer session of Tame Impala playing Let it Happen, Kevin's got a pretty expansive pedal board, including a switch in guitars where he starts using a Squier Jazzmaster with the GK-3 and the Gr-55 synth module. I think it would be sweet if they replicated those tones, because there are a lot of very unique tones that they can get; that lead tone at the end of Let It Happen is so sweet through the GR-55

being almost tragically of that time, of that moment, they were really special, well the scene that spawned them, at least. Because it was 100% ours. you had the pop-punk American stuff, and the realistic grime rap, and the indie as fuck strokes, and with the call backs to the smiths/stone roses/ beatles vibe, of exiting things from bleak northern towns, getting famous from people organically sharing their demos. And this will sound silly, but at the time it felt like No Compromise, like why haven't we been doing this all along? even if they were the most derivative thing ever.

Cant say i disagree with the generic songs and lyrics, but i like the front man. He's a decent guy (as opposed to most of the stuck up arrogant pricks that inhabit Brit and indie rock these days) and not the worst vocalist I've ever heard but i still like them all the same. I think we all have bands we don't think are great but still listen to them anyway.

I'm really loving these sound like vids, but I was wondering if you'd consider doing some sound like Bass players without breaking the bank... Tim Cummerford, Flea, Steve Harris, Lemmy, Mike Dirnt, Duff McKeagen.... Having seen quite a few of the series now, I have noticed that on more than one occasion the bass was really missing (GnR) or you purposely got an octaver to cover the bass (Tom Morello). And it would be nice to see what you guys can come up with on your limited budget. :-)

So here's small detail that matters - you should also take in account the money needed for the other essentials: a power source for pedals + all the cables, and these sum up to around 100-120 pounds.

Two very interesting questions are in the room: Will a new Fuzz Face Hendrix works, when Rabea turn the Volume of the Guitar down to clean and which Uni-Vibe working well in the Budget. Also there are Guitar-Artists, that could be very fine are: Lenny Kravitz, Joe Bonamassa, Eric Johnson, Joe Perry and Max Cavalera. Bands, that "Sounds like" Busters are: Slayer, Mashine Head, Black Stone Cherry and Rammstein. I love you guys ... "Sounds like" is one of the best channels on youtube.

another great episode of sounds like on Andertons TV. Something I've been meaning to mention for a while is how you guys never account for the cost of patch cables for guitars/fx and power supplies for the pedals, weather that is batteries or a mains supply. The object of this is to be able to put together a giggable rig for 1500 pounds, but often you guys are at your budget limit without adding the cost of cables and power. This is a serious oversight because with some of the more complex rigs that you come up with, cabling and power would run a fair bit by the time you are done. And, quite obviously, one cannot gig if one has no way of hooking everything up...I know it's sort of a foregone conclusion that you would need cabling, but 50 pounds worth of cabling in some cases should certainly be a part of your budget. Unless Andertons offers free cables and power supplies with any guitar, amp and pedal purchase? One more point before I go back under my rock is that, unless cases are also part of the Andertons buying experience, adding the cost of a case or gig bag to the cheaper end guitars that wouldn't necessarily come with one is important as, again, the premise is to build a giggable rig...and not too many guitarists would take their instruments out without at least a basic gig bag.
