I’ll be sad to see this go. I cannot view it live and Twitch makes finding past streams a pain. I’d love a zero effort download from twitch and reupload to a second channel, but I understand if that’s not feasible. Thanks for a good few months! - Janet

Love the content for Games for Breakfast. I appreciate both Will and Matt's informed and nuanced takes that are not hyperbolic. The only extreme part of this show is their personalities and that's perfect.
Unfortunately CZcams was the most convenient way for me to watch this content. I don't like having to check 6 different sites to watch a show and checking the subscriptions feed was really easy.
I will likely no longer continue to watch Games for Breakfast but I hope the show continues as both hosts are wonderful and the information valuable.
Just want to say I’ll miss listening to these. I tune into them on Nebula while at work. I’d totally subscribe to a different channel for these if that was how yall need to do it at some point, or an audio podcast of this. I just don’t think I’ll ever be able to catch a Twitch stream.
I don’t tend to spend time on Twitch myself, so I’m going to miss this CZcams format.

I did not know about the show till it was on CZcams and I really like it. I understand the views have not been what they should be because you guys provide great news analysis, but I hope I can make the effort to go follow along on Twitch, but I do barely use that site.
Stadia is what got me into Destiny 2, and once I figured out how to actually start the main campaign (which is basically hidden away to keep it away from New players), it was a blast!
I especially remember that one mission that goes all Alien with dark silent corridors and enemies that appear out of nowhere screaming.
As a casual, the game was good when it was a decent solo campaign with great atmosphere and optional multiplayer.
Same! It was pretty much the only thing I played on Stadia (controller came with my chromecast) besides Fallen Order. It played really nicely on there, even on my shitty laptop. Unfortunately I don't have the means for that level of experience without Stadia (+ I forgot to transfer my data, lol, so I lost the little progress I'd made).

Sorry to hear that Games for Breakfast will be leaving CZcams, as I can't stand Twitch. These videos were why I subbed to EC.
As to alternate formats, I'd listen to a podcast or follow a separate Games for Breakfast channel.
I've been watching this on Nebula! I'm assuming that this won't be there anymore either, but it was nice. An audio podcast would be ideal for this show, I think - I like to listen to it in the car.

I've loved this show! Thanks for bringing it to CZcams. I always listen to it pretty much audio only, often while I'm mowing the lawn or doing dishes. Anywhere I can listen to it later is fine by me, even with lower production value.
Man I’m sad that we won’t be seeing more of this on youtube - but I’ll still be watching the vods on twitch, even on the days when I can’t catch it live.
Spent the first several minutes staring at my screen trying to figure out what was different, then realised that I was on some level expecting for Matt’s beard to have magically reappeared now that Halloween is over.
I would totally subscribe to another channel for more of this show, while I do occasionally use twitch, I don't use it for podcasts.
I've played Destiny 2 since launch, and I' come back every few months to catch up on the latest season or new expansion. After Witch Queen dropped I probably put more time into Destiny than I had in all the rest of the game's existence combined. Then Lightfall came out and... I haven't played since February. I was gonna come back when Final Shape drops, but with all these layoffs I don't know if I'll be doing that.
Pretty upset this is going back to Twitch only, Twitch just isn't as mobile friendly and I often listen to these on Tuesday or Wednesday while between calls at work. CZcams really was the best platform for me when it came to this.
I played Destiny 2 when the base game Red War still existed
Played through the story, did some grind, saw the trailers for Forsaken
I didn't have the money to buy an expansion on launch back then so I put Destiny on ice, but I wanted to go back for Forsaken one day because the story looked really interesting
And now it's gone
I was super stoked that you had this show up on Nebula. It's the only thing like it over there, and the uploads will be missed. I also think an audio only version in the Nebula podcast section would be excellent. Thanks for the cool weekly round-ups.
I would love this show as an audio podcast! That’s why I liked it here on CZcams, cause I have YT premium so I can lock my phone and listen to videos like they are podcasts. I listen to a lot of videos like they are podcasts here. Not really what I go to Twitch for.
Some of us do not Twitch, as the Twitch constantly crashes on our computer browsers. This is due to the way Twitch handles their ads, which doesn't like our browser security (they use ads that are invasive and do data grabs or follow the viewer cookies). Sorry to see you leave CZcams on this...
If you made this a separate channel, I would subscribe. I will _try_ to watch on Twitch, in the meantime.
I would love a news show version of this that covered each topic as news without the talk show elements. All the stories are interesting however facts and information of each could be given in 1-5 min tops. A news version of this show that is the same length as all your other content would be awesome!

I don't really use Twitch, so I'd love to see the highlights from the GfB stream over here on CZcams. I do realize that's unlikely to happen given the audio editing hurdles you discussed.
I’m sorry to see you go. I didn’t know about Extra Breakfast until it showed up in my CZcams subscription feed. Tried watching a live stream on Twitch, but the ad interruptions are unbearable and I can’t join the conversation there without giving Twitch my phone number which is too invasive. If you keep posting these on Nebula though, I’ll watch you there silently.
The ideal change for me would be a new channel created which is literally a dump of the Twitch VoDs on CZcams. This would result in me watching more of the content across all shows. This is true even if the only effort made was to upload the video to the channel leaving intro timers/screens and all. I was glad to see this show here because it meant that I could, finally, reliably watch it. Unfortunately, this means I will no longer catch the show because VoDs on Twitch is a nightmare and I am unlikely to see it live.
A long video about topics I care about, or games I might be interested in, is a perfect thing to put on while I work. I do this with live content on Twitch when I can, but for a talk show a VoD is realistically the only way to enjoy it since I am in an out of meetings/focus time and cannot, really, pause a live show.
With something like Rogue Review it works okay because I do not need to closely follow the topic as it is discussed, but can ask a question or follow along while I can and still get a good sense of the game and whether I want to buy it or not.
What I do not want to see is a bunch of short form content generated from these shows. I do not engage with short form at all, so those videos would just end up ignored even if the topics were ones I were interested in.
There's not an audio only version of this available somewhere, is there?

I'm going to miss watching these shows. I'm not moving to Twitch. I like watching at 2x speed because the episodes are long. I don't have time to watch this live and without it being sped up. I'd be cool with subscribing to another channel just for this show if that's what you guys want to do. Maybe make it a channel for all long form content. Extra Long Extra Credits? I don't like the podcast idea. I like seeing the things that you're referencing on screen and sometimes the visual bits are hilarious. I'd definitely miss that
Yeah, podcast would be okay mostly, but I do feel like the visuals really add something. I'd much prefer videos uploaded to a separate channel as well

I’ll be sad that this show won’t be on CZcams since I’ve been using it as my lunch entertainment but I understand the reasons. I’ll try to catch a twitch stream once in a while but doubtful I’ll be able to watch the vod since that experience sucks.
CZcams is “better” for watching but it’s incorporating more of the twitch things I dislike so maybe it’ll all be similar soon enough.
It's not going to be easy to watch on Twitch, since a) I don't use Twitch usually, and 2) I watch while at work, so I won't be able to pause, and will have to remember to switch over to the Twitch app (which I'll have to grab) when the time hits.
Think for me the best thing added to Destiny 2 must have been the cosmodrome from D1. Just some well structured content to get into where you don't need to look up half the quest objectives. I also liked parts of the original campaign, even if that did drag on in places and didn't do the characters justice. Just some story beats like trying to get your light back, and finding the Hive on the second planet (Titan?) while trying to bring the station back online, those were great moments.
I know I am late to the end of extra breakfast on CZcams, but I needed somewhere to vent:
If I had a nickle for every time I was watching an EC podcast and got electrocuted and fried my phone, I'd have two nickles. It's not a lot, but it's weird that it happened twice.

It's been a shocking experience to see this show on CZcams. You both have electrifying personalities. This show really charged me up for the work day and helped me stay current with the gaming sphere. The switch back to Twitch only will be an impedance to my viewing ability, but i think I can overcome the resistance.
Putting the audio up on a third channel (+Nebula pls?) would be awesome. I'm usually just listening anyway but seeing them pop up in my YT feed reminds me to watch next time I need something to listen to.
This does actually suck for me because I really like this show but I'm never awake during the time that it's recorded live on twitch so I always enjoyed the youtube upload this is a real shame for me.
The reason why I got into Destiny was because my cousin wanted me to play it with them. The current expansion was Beyond Light, and that one was my favorite. I liked getting access to stasis, the story there, and the art design of Europa. The reason why I don't play it as much anymore is twofold. Firstly, they reset most of your progression once a quarter and all of your progression once a year and that feels terrible. Secondly, they have predatory monetization practices and I don't like supporting or playing games that are predatory
I would prefer to see this on a separate gamesforbreakfast youtube channel. Especially if it’s a straight up unedited upload of the stream.
I really enjoy this format, but there is litterally nothing that could make me move to twitch

Audio podcast is basically how I interact(ed) with this show anyway.
Scariest noise in gaming, as a former wow player: Fel Reaver. I literally had that as my alarm clock sound because it jolted me outta bed lol
This is going to be a an unpopular answer but Lightfall was probably my favorite expansion. Now I only Destiny through The Takeing King, and then played Vanilla D, and then played the Foresaken campaign, the Scarlet Keep Campaign, the Beyond Light campaign, but then I played The Witch Queen starting at season 3, up until now. And I have liked the seasonal content for Lightfall best. Though, Season of the Seraph at the end of The Witch Queen was pretty close.
I really like Strand the new subclass, and I’ve enjoyed the new seasonal activities a lot.
I was starting to get into it, ngl, it's a big of a shame but I get it didn't seem to work with being placed on this channel.
If yall do make it a new channel I'll probably sub but I just dont have it in my soul to start watching things on Twitch hahaha.
I think I'll try to catch the live streams, but twitch is always a little awkward if you miss something and need to go back to the vod. Maybe a vod channel with little to no editing would work on youtube.

I hate to see this leave CZcams but I'll just catch up with the vods on Twitch. I'd love to see this come out as an audio podcast. I don't even mind if you guys make visual references, quite a few podcasts I listen to do that and just describe what they're seeing for the audio only audience.

I respect that it’s too much effort for y’all to port this to CZcams, so it’s sad to say this will be the last time I tune in. Live streams combine the worst elements of social media with broadcast TV for me. If y’all figure out a way to make these accessible after the stream date and off twitch, please let us know! A traditional podcast would be fine.
I miss slide phones with physical keyboards so much. And I'll miss seeing this show on CZcams.

I would love an audio podcast. Streaming the video as a Twitch vod is too much data. I'm usually downloading this on nebula to listen to while driving to/from work. Just the stripped audio would work fine for me
Inc podcast ver? Also given the QRcode, great way thing to add at the end of videos/shorts. And welp doing the ethos of fail faster, till the next experiment for the channel from twitch content.
My favorite expansion was Taken King. That whole experience and Raid was so good. I fell off during Shadowkeep because I was upset by the stuff I was seeing like Bungie taking armor sets clearly designed for the Raid and selling them on the store. Then I came back for the first season to try it and was unsatisfied so dropped it again. I've looked into playing it again but I'd have to spend over a hundred dollars in expansions just to jump back in and I won't do that just to try the game again.
This was a fun watch, sad to see you moving the content, but understand why. Best of luck to yall! (Also Witchqueen was the best Destiny expansion since original launch)

Gonna miss this show. I don't really have the ability or desire to watch the show synchronously, so being part of Brad has always been out of the question. Idk if Twitch has proper vods, but going there to find it is definitely an extra step I probably won't have the energy to take consistently.
Will miss this show on YT - over time I’ve grown to dislike Twitch and have pretty much stopped using it - if possible would like content on YT or podcast
I'm really sad you're taking the livestreams off of CZcams. I have never used Twitch before, but I made an account so I can try to continue enjoying these livestreams. I only hope I can adjust, as I don't know anything about Twitch. I love this content, and Design Club too, but would never have known about it if you didn't put them CZcams.
Sorry to see this leave youtube (and therefore I assume nebula as well), but definitely understandable. I don't watch twitch, but I look forward to if this show ever goes back to nebula or to a podcast (both let me pause and pick back up in the middle, which is very nice when you're keeping me company for late work nights)

I mean more like a highlight reel sort of how the infotainment news will do a 2-3” rundown of major headlines before going into all the fluff.

The ironic thing about the sexy gacha game you talked about, is that the ad that played in my pre-roll was a different NSFW sexy gacha game. So, getting demonetized might not have been as much of a problem as you think. Hehe
Personally I watch/ listen to my podcast via CZcams. I only started watching this bc episodes were being posted here.
I don't use twitch for my podcast since my internet access is sometimes spotty. Also i like to space them out with shorter videos. So there I can't continue to listen if it goes back to twitch only.
I just listen to yall chatting while I do stuff around the house or while building in minecraft and would love to be able to listen to you again in the future, but live content is very difficult for me to watch due to when I work and am awake.
I'm sorry to see this news. I refuse to argue with Twitch's frustrating user experience so if you ever plan to release this content in another format (podcast, another app, etc), please drop a vid here on CZcams or on your Patreon to let us know where to find it.
It's a shame; I subbed to the Patreon partly due to how much I enjoy listening to this content on my commute. I'll still stay subbed, but it does leave a sour taste in my mouth that as soon as I did so, one of the things I loved is no longer available.

In regards to Destiny - oddly enough D1 was my favorite times (at least thru the lens of nostalgia), but for D2 I liked Forsaken for the most part - it was better than the previous ones imo. I also fell off during Shadowkeep - so it's not like I experienced much.
Sad to see this leaving YT. I love it but I know I will rarely catch it live and YT is where I go for videos/ playing on a second monitor. Twitch VODs is just not going to be something that I think to check.

Awh, really sad to see GFB disappear off of CZcams. I enjoyed it much better that I initially thought and now after a few months I've grown to like it so much that I will absolutely miss it. However, the jump to Twitch is too big for me, so I will sadly not be following you to there.
I hope Games for breakfast will return someday. I think a separate channel would work best. Audio only would be okay too, but I do like seeing you two, even if I'm also focusing on a simple task.
On the third channel, it wouldn't really need a good thumbnail at all, I think. Don't do more work if it's not essential :p

Noooooo I don't like twitch but I've been enjoying this show on CZcams😭
as a 4000+ hour Destiny player that had a haiatus from D2 Yr1 - 2 (I came back the moment Bungie announced the ActiBliz beakup) my favourite expansion and series of seasons was Witch Queen (yr5). It was an immaculate and triumphant year that gave us the most depth ever in build crafting and a story that had immense twists and interesting themes for both lore junkies and casuals. It was a response to a lot of the experimenting over the past 2 years and the amount of QoL was thicc. Unfortunately it was followed by the weakest narrative and raid in an expansion ever. New seasons since Lightfall have been good and improving drastically but for the vast majority, most ppl quit on Lightfall because Witch Queen has been viewed as a false prophet in future content improvement.
Too bad if Extra Breakfast won't be here anymore. I don't and can't watch twitch so I'm going to miss this.
well, that sucks. I just started watching and now it's gone. I like this longform content and I'm happy to subscribe to a third channel as long as I can keep watching through CZcams. Twitch is probably not gonna happen for me.

"Making it harder to consume media is not something companies should be doing" Will on the Twitch story.... after announcing that this show is leaving CZcams, which will make this show harder to consume, was an interesting take. I love this channel, this show was becoming a favorite thing to look forward to but I really dislike the Twitch experience. Hoping you guys will listen to the feedback and let this stay or turn it into a podcast.

Why not just have another channel that hosts the respective talkshows?
From what Will said on stream, it's mainly because it's a lot of Effort to edit, that could be spent on other projects.
Making a new channel also just spreads their attention even further than the 2 channels already do, while probably not having that far of a reach.

Fun fact: I watched half of this episode on my Switch using the CZcams app. This sort of content is perfect for watching whilst doing the dishes, and I don't have another device I am happy to have propped up on the windowsill whilst elbow deep in water.
It's a real shame I won't be able to switch over to Twitch on the Switch which will scratch my itch of knowing the sitch of my favourite niche, like how Nintendo will pitch apps in the ditch or Gamestop has become a lich, all whilst washing up without a hitch. Sometimes, life can be a bit crummy.

Yeah I'm sad it took so long for you to figure out your thumbnails. I'm with those folks that thought it was some kinda good thing and wasn't super interested, but a couple of months ago I caught it and realized what it was.
I don't like twitch because like others have said, catching past VODS is really hard, but also I'm not really one that likes chat, and the video quality is worse.
That said, I really love the vibe of this show and would be over the moon if it went audio only. The "gaming news" podcast where we don't spend 20-30min going "how was your week?!" Is really refreshing.
