Beautiful project, really beautiful. After all that mortising and tenoning, though, I think I'd opt for internal/hidden dowels (or something like that) instead of the screws. Really great project - thanks for the video!

Apolari3ear: I was working in a well-ventilated shop when spraying the satin lacquer I used on this bookcase. But, always a good idea to put on a respirator as an additional precaution. If I were spraying a really large project, I definitely would have done so. As to your other question, I use impact drivers and drill/drivers almost interchangeably these days. Have not had problems with broken screws as a result.
