Such a great look to this table!!!
Gorgeous table. love the color choices. definitely gonna build this one.
Do love all the content you have made so far, managed to watch every youtube episode so far :) so well done
Great simple design as always!
really like the way this looks! nice job!
Well done again ! The grey paint goes very well with the color of the hard wood.
Denis
I like the color idea of the frame it really matches the wooden color of the top, nice job🤘
finaly nice and easy table and benches to make thank you very much
Great build, great cause! 🤓👊🏼
Simple and amazing. Great job and will continue to follow and share your work from down here in Australia.

Hi you are really good at making this so you have inspired me to make this wonderful peace
Love it + a great cause
I love the different shoe color
Hi. You guys made a very nice table. :)
Great build and video... As usual!
:)
Love it. Great design, yet easy to DIY! :)
Another Kewl build Ben !
See you soon ;-)
Hey Ben big fan of your work! Quick question. I would like to build this table twice as big, what altaration would you recommend as support in the middle of it? Thank you!
Dear Home Made Modern,
love your simple design idea. i'm gonna cut lots of buget making my own furniture, thanks to you guys.
with love,
:)
Very nice and simple. I wonder how hard it would be to make a round one?
for a moment a though it was metal. nice finishes
Nicely done with good look. If you have a good track saw, one tip to save time in the future is to install the decking material on the table first. You can then use track saw to cut across the end of the table so that all the pieces line up and saves more time instead of using miter saw in the beginning.
I really wish I could do something like this.
Great project. Still waiting on website update though :)
k massa ficou legal
Does Home Depot stock that decking or is it special order?
wow....wow....u must have a workshop and gallery .....her in iraq we dont have wood like in usa i wish if i work with u man
COOL
Hey Ben,
this table looks awesome but i wonder if the legs are stiff enough if you push against the top.
agree, does not nearly strong enough
will the table legs really be sturdy enough with no braces, just four screws attached to top frame?
Does the bench sway side to side at all?
Some mentioned that table doesn't look to sturdy if you push against it. How can I make it better? I like the design/colors/simplicity, but I am not sold on joints using butt joints. Will pocket joints help?
👏👏👏👏👏👏
I cannot find those boards on the home depot web site, do they use a different name?
Hi, I didn't find the measurements at your site, where can I find it, please?
I cant find this decking hardwood at any of my local home depots.
Decking boards! Why didn't I think of that....
You can still eat pizza...So jealous!! Great build though!! :D
a homemade bench and table is something to cry for well yeah totally
Cool project as usual. I had a near miss with you at the build space in Boston... I met with them 2 weeks ago and when I mentioned youtube they said you had just walked by. It would have been cool so shake hands and talk shop for a minute. Maybe there will be another opportunity some day.
nah, you blew it
I can't find the plans... Were they ever published?
he can work so fast
Where can I find the plans for this I can't seem to find them on your site... love the table!!
updates are coming soon!
HomeMadeModern perfect let me know please...
#hero

draußen = Outside
:D
Sorry
Thanks Fräuline.. I was about to ask who is this Drausen guy...sounds like quiet a tough bloke.. ;)
Can you please tell me what sander is that ,,where can we (europe) buy it online !!!?
It's either a 5 or 6 inch Ryobi Orbital Sander.
I'm sure any tool shop or even Amazon EU can offer them to you wherever it is that you live in Europe mate.
where i can see project of this
updates to the site are coming soon!
What was the total cost of the wood?
BattleXKing I was hoping to gind that answer in the comments too.
he said total for the project was $175
How many 2x4's were need in total for the table and benches?
hi erick, you can find more detailed information here: www.homemade-modern.com/ep101-diy-outdoor-dining-table/
HomeMadeModern hasn’t really answered. There’s a cut list on the website but not a shopping list.
merci beaucoup !!!!
you use alot of new materials. Have you ever tried to build something using only found/salvaged/scrap materials? minus nails and such,
BTW, this is beautiful!
That would be cool, but it would really beat the purpose of his channel and his TED presentation. Throwing in factors such as found/salvaged/scrap materials can be hard for people who is trying to build the project as well. As anything that is found/salvaged, they all have their own uniqueness and dimension.
Check out relaxshacksDOTcom on CZcams. Every project he does has some found/salvaged/scrap in it. :)
Chaz Evansdale
i do follow them, they got some cool stuff! :D

hmmm i don't know anything about his TED presentation. Kinda feel bad that I don't now. I know i am lucky where I live because I have access to a dump that allows picking in the woodpile. I love his pieces and his work, i'm just an avid recycler who prefers not to use new wood whenever i can. I do suppose anything he makes on the channel can be done in salvaged materials if the builder has them on hand at the time.
what kind of wood is on top?
did you watch the video?
C'mon Home Depot, send him a real counter sink bit.
VanOaksPropFoundry, i guess ryobi does not make them.....
Great video! that said I'm getting kind tired of listening to the same track again and again
Your measurements don't add up on your website for the bench. For a start it says 9 lengths of 62inch hardwood. How can it be 9 lengths if you use 3 per bench ? Secondly the measurements of 2x4 Is for a single bench so how you can't say that the hardwood is for 2 benches???
Thank you. I almost bought all of them
This DIY is not on your website... Can you please just post the measures on the description?
the updates are coming soon!
I have to say that “pepe amazing plan” (Google it) is a wonderful wood working book. It gives a lot of general info that will help any beginner and even some skilled wood worker. Surprisingly, this book has been my partner whenever I wish to look up woods at areas and other topics such as restoring as well as salvaging spots.
could you make a tutorial on how to make a phone charging hub for like 4 phones? thanks!
Still no website update on this or several recent projects.
No mention of alternatives in case our Home Depot doesn't carry the decking boards. Come on Ben :(
we're on it!
FIRST!!!
I`m in the retirement stage of my life. I perform a bit of cabinetry, produce musical instruments, and carry out woodturning in my small shop. I found this woodworking guide, “pepe amazing plan” (Google it), and acquired it despite the fact that I own many woodworking books in the house. The comprehensiveness of this book is amazing. Each and every subject matter of the book is covered well.
This would have looked nicer if it was designed so that the hardware was not visible. Pocket hole jig etc.
your site is down?
thanks for letting us know, everything should be up and running smoothly now
Im sorry... Does it take ~40 people do donate one table .... hahahahahaha
Work goes much faster and nicer with stodoys instructions.
cool to me
someone can translate all in centimer
I need to find me a boyfriend who can do this for me haha 😬😉
(make it yourself) ^^
I was liking it until I see the Ryobi tools
