    Roy Khan is one of the worlds top vocalists. Very few have his ability to express so many emotions in their singing like Roy. His range and mastery is elite. His replacement is an equally amazing singer again one of the top vocalists in the world. His name is Tommy Karevik and he is also a member of the AMAZING progressive group Seventh Wonder.

    This used to be one of my favorite power metal bands. Karma, Epica and The Black Halo is such a great suite of albums. They were such good, melodic songwriters back then. You should just listen to them back to back, chronologically.

    There is a prog metal band called Ayreon, that I think you would really enjoy. It's actually more of a project with invited singers. If you listen to "The day that the world breaks down" you will get to enjoy James Labrie, Floor Jansen + singers from Symphony-X, Epica, Blind Guardian, Kamelot, etc.

    Once Kel heard Oliver playing the Keyboard, she was transcending the universe. I feel feel those goosebumps from here. Oliver Palotai is a great keyboardist. You should listen to the album version, as amazing as it is experiencing this live, the album version is a richer listening experience, and part 3 in particular sounds amazing with the guitar work, because he simplifies the riffs live in part 3, essentially leaving out my favourite part. Kamelot is an amazing band with so many fantastic songs, and this is one of my favourite songs ever, especially part III. If you wanna hear another epic song, listen to Memento Mori, it is another true timeless masterpiece, and the conclusion to a 2 album concept based on Faust. It's only gotten better with time for me, and I've been stunned by it's brilliance every time.

    R&K you mentioned for any suggestions for improvements. Video looks great. Audio is fantastic. The only suggestion I have is that you slightly increase the volume. I find myself increasing the volume to the max on the devices I’m listening to your reactions on and I’m craving more volume. Your almost at that sweet spot as far as the volume department is concerned. Other than that everything has been enjoyable and very exciting to watch. Good job guys.

      Raul!!! Thanks for chiming in on the volume! Do you want the music louder or our voices louder or both - and by how much? We have a mixer going and are trying not to be louder than the tunes.

    • @Raul-vl7ly
      @Raul-vl7ly Před 5 lety +4

      Rich-n-Kel thank you for the reply. Actually the volume on your voices when you speak is right on. No adjustments needed there imo. I have finished watching your first vids a week ago and the volume for the music was a little to loud. I can definitely hear the difference when you decreased the volume for the music which I currently prefer over the earlier vids. I feel the volume was decreased a little to lower than it needed to. I have used multiple in ear headphones and over the ear headphones and Bluetooth speakers as well and I find that the volume for the music just needs an ever so slight adjustment in volume increase. Not to much just a minor increase. Sorry for my lengthy essay. I haven’t wrote one since high school. Thanks for reading. Metal forever 🤟🏼🤟🏼

    For those who may not know it, the woman they are singing about in the song was the "blood countess" Erzebeth Bathory from Hungary. She is said to be responsible for the deaths of more than 600 servant and peasant girls and even some high born ones too. She would drain the girls of blood and bathe in it, in order to preserve her beauty. Wether or not this is true or just very dark propaganda created to throw her in jail and get rid of a powerful woman is hard to say but her name lives on, in music and legend.
