i'm a huge fan of iced earth but Since mat and Tim left the band it was not the same I think the band deserved more recognition worldwide as true fans are, we are proud of what the band has done cheers from mexicoooo
I've seen Iced Earth 7 times since 2002, various lineups. If you ever get to chance to catch them in concert, do it. Mind-blowing, awe-inspiring epic metal and they are ALWAYS locked in tight live. I plan to be right there for number 8 next time they come around.
Fun fact: this is a concept record about anti hero Spawn created by Todd McFarlane . The album art was drawn by Todd himself. It is the last album to feature longtime guitarist Randall Shawver and bassist David Abell it was the second to feature living legend Matt Barlow who for many is considered THE Voice of iced earth. They're still around and kicking ass. Jon Schaffer is a. Riff GOD. his right hand is unmatched in speed and Ferocity
@@kelligafter502 made his whole week. The little guy was ecstatic (hes only twelve. It blew his mind someone other than me or his parents knew his name haha )
Ulises Hernandez ohhhhh wonderful!!! Fantastic! Please let him know we loved his request and will listen to more of them in the future, along with more of his awesome requests if he ever wants to toss one our way in the further 😉
Iced Earth formed in the 80's in Indiana, then went to Tampa when the Death Metal scene came alive. This album came out in "95 I believe. You should do A Question of Heaven, Pure Evil, Watching over me. They are great!!
The Piper Never Dies - Edguy #painintheask Thanks for your awesome content guys! You make my day every day. As for more Iced Earth songs, I'd say something like "Travel In Stygian" with Matt Barlow in vocals, is a good choice for their more advanced stuff ;)
when I was in the burn ward for my 63 % burns, I listened to dantes inferno and travel in stygian back to back while doing my mandatory training. i ended up buying their triple live cd.
#PAININTHEASK Iced Earth - Dracula Iced Earth kick ass, Matt Barlow (Their old singer) is up there with my favorite vocalists. Their new singer is good in his own right
This is song just slave to the dark. The Suffering: A question of heaven is the next song on the album and my request I made the other day for my 45th birthday on March 22 #BirthdayRequestKel
Another good pick. First time hearing Iced Earth too.... aside: and your outfits remind me of the Superman II movie with Rich as Superman and Kel as General Zod's first in command, Ursa :)
Iced Earth is one of the bands that hooked me into metal (hence my username), and I love their combination of thrashy early Metallica riffs and Iron Maiden melodic and thematic sensibilites. They have a brilliant back catalog...I would recommend the song Dante's Inferno (based on the classic poem), an epic and intense journey through the 9 planes of hell...sooo badass! \m/ #painintheask
#Painintheask fiddler on the green by demons and wizards. Hansi from blind guardian and john schaeffer from iced earth got together and decided to make us cry
WHOA thanks Dylan, great request ma boi ! Iced earth got many concept album and this one is their best in my honest humble opinion :D The Dark saga is dedicated to the comic Spawn. Good thing that Dylan picked a song sang by Matt Barlow, he got great range and his voice fits perfectly with the band. I'll go with the majority for my #painintheask and say Dante's Inferno should be on the playlist.
Iced Earth! A criminally under-rated band. If I may be a #painintheask a couple more songs to toss into the hat are Plagues of Babylon and The Hunter. Lots of great suggestions for them in the comments. They don't really have any bad songs. Another band to check out is Dream Evil. The Book of Heavy metal is a good place to start. I used to be big into these guys back in high school. Cool band.
Iced Earth cover designs were alot like Iron Maidens. They are an older band I suspect they were inspired by Maiden judging by the style and album art.formed in 1985 by guitarist Jon Schaffer they have 13 studio albums. including 1 was under the name Purgatory before the change to Iced Earth.
Iced Earth is very good. Just discovered them not to long ago. I seem to be drawn toward songs that seem kinda epic if that makes any sense. You know that whole Iron Maiden vibe.
That abrupt end is because its the 2nd part of the "The Suffering" trilogy. The whole thing is called "The Suffering" and is just splitted into 3 songs. Means part 3 continues where part 2 (this song) did end. part 3 is A Question of heaven which you already reacted to.
Thank you so much for choosing my son’s request. He hasn’t watched it yet but I know he’s going to be happier than a dog with 10 peckers when I show him in the morning.Im so glad you guys liked it.The 2nd part to the song is A question of heaven that ties up this song as well as the album. He’s going to be so excited to see not only his request but also your reactions to Aeryon and Blind Guardian,2 of his other favorite bands. You guys are absolutely amazing!Best reaction channel PERIOD! Thanks again Rich-n-Kel
You made his day! His face lit up with a big smile when you said his name! He was so happy he picked a good one..lol.Thank you so much from both of us!
#painintheask: Iced Earth - Dante's Inferno Alive in Athens Maybe the best live performance of a true Metal epic. It's insane what These guys could do live back in ye olden days. :)
The entire "Dark Saga" album is supposed to be a concept album about the comic book made into a movie character called Spawn. I've never read the comic books, or seen the movie but I think the lyrics to this album pretty much sum it all up.
Organic_Mechanic The Dark Saga album is a must listen to from Iced Earth. The album tells the story of Todd Mc farlanes Spawn character it has some of the best iced earth songs!!!
#painintheask You should definitely check out Iced Earth’s Gettysburg trilogy. It’s a masterpiece. The three individual songs are called The Devil to Pay, Hold at all Costs, and High Water Mark.
When all the other great metal bands were struggling in the 1990s, including Iron Maiden, Metallica, Helloween, Queensryche etc, Iced Earth couldn't put a foot wrong musically. All their 90s albums are either great or just classics.
The whole Suffering trilogy is awesome. Only down-side is that you didn't listen to Scarred as well, since that is the beginning of the trilogy and these are the 2nd and 3rd songs in it. Judging by the length of the video, I'm guessing you don't have Question of Heaven in there. I hope I'm wrong. I'm not. It didn't include Question of Heaven. I would really have liked to see that one.
FFVison hang in there. There’s a good possibility that will be coming in the next few days.A subscriber has requested it for his Birthday on the 22nd so we might get it if they catch his comment

Iced Earth is so underated. These guys should be selling out arenas!
They sell out whenever they come to Greece ;)
Iced Earth - Dante's Inferno (alive in Athens) #painintheask That's where it's at!
This! It's insane.

Well, it isnt Travel in Stygian but I will DEFINITELY take it
