Other than that my Ne-Ti and Fe combo make it easy for me to see things from a birds eye view so honestly kinda hard for me to care unless I attribute respect to ya. If you did piss an entp off the wrong way it's more likey they just did'nt think you were worth the time; or if they respected you(can't really speak for eveyone) you may have done something to lose that respect. NGL every person has their land mines so I'm kinda curious as to what you did to make them not go nuclear but cut ties, if they were an entp.

      It costs us a lot of energy, though. If we're genuinely pissed or upset or uncomfortable with someone, but making the effort to mask that ... we get so exhausted, so fast.
      And it builds up over time. So, eventually, we may just explode into full Fe grip hysteria. And it may look to others like it's come from literally nowhere.
      Then we change our job and name and move to Reykjavík, of course.

      Okay but the ENTJ way of being triggered reminds me how my ISTP brother'll trigger my dad goofing off with one word responses to serious clear questions (he'll respond goofier in particularly emotional scenarios involving him) but on the fence if he's actually ESTJ and even thought ENFJ at first before more knowledge but having gotten into internet fights with a past fellow ENFP friend about her christianity it was just as chaotic as you described -ENFP

  • @kyurei4478
    @kyurei4478 Před 10 měsíci +49

    As an INFJ, some of the funniest games to play with ENTPs are playing as dumb as possible to make them repeat and explain their words because they can't help but go on another tangent every time and make them believe you don't get their mind games and what they're trying to do while you totally know what they're doing and you're just leading the conversation. Also voluntarily reducing your capacity to argue as much as possible to make them lose interest and let them think they won the debate when you were just holding back because you really don't care about winning arguments.
    Another great one is defusing any tension they're purposely trying to install to push people to argue to reestablish good harmony in the group. They'll get bored and triggered themselves.
    But the best thing is probably when they're trying hard to trigger you and you just fake being triggered and play their game by arguing with them even though you don't care simply to entertain them because you know they like to debate and it will make them pass the time. They're so childish but situations like these make them really cute.
    But it's really not that easy to fool us, we're the other masterminds with INTJs after all. We're like the ENTPs kryptonite because we always make sure to keep things harmonious around us and we're too chill to easily be triggered because our ideas are challenged. We're open to discussions (not debates).
    It's truly an honor to be the lowest on this list.

      Thats why I'm so attracted to infjs. You guys know we're lowkey insane, but instead of being afraid or disgusted with us like other types you guys just see our wounded but brilliant inner child, and usher us accordingly. Mature ENTPs know that the INFJs are really the ones in control, which is a great trade off because we can still be our mischievous selves near a person who sees us past all of that and loves us anyways. I will say that INFJ has a great ability to round us up and put us in our place when we need it, but you let us go off the rails on someone if you think they deserve it. We're like intellectual attack dogs, with INFJ being our handlers. lol

      Entps are one of the (if not the most) open minded types, what other types labeled as "debates" are just "banters" or interesting discussions for us. Triggering is not the intention at all (I love Kristin video but it relies heavily on her Te-stereotyping types), but because of our Ti intensity we may come across as "debating"
      INFJ NiTi reasoning is way overanalysing the conversations with ENTPs. Which makes sense because as an NF, you have F value invested in it, while from a xNTP lens, Ti merely consider it as a fun conversation (and doesnt care nor even consider the other party intention for most of the time)

    PFFT, INFP one is actually in a weird way accurate. Some days things upset me easily, some days they don't, often times it's some random obscure thing that sends my mind on a whole tangent about something or another and I end up crying. Some days I have the energy to react, some days I don't. Sometimes my emotional reaction is very delayed, and only at the end of the day will I then seem upset, as if it was just steadily growing that whole time. Sometimes my reaction is instant. There's a lot of factors that go into it that I don't even fully understand.
    There is at least one or two topic that likely would fire me up quickly no matter what, probably because it's one of the things I'm most passionate about.

I am often so apathetic that, when with others, even if I am triggered, I will still have almost no reaction because of habit. Also, this is nearly perfectly timed, because I just had a classmate tell me that he wants to try and figure out how to trigger me, but called me a worthy opponent. I’m thinking, “Yeah, good luck.” He is able to easily trigger people, but I am unlikely to lose this battle. Also, I just saw Harold through ENTP’s window. He’s still blending in, and I’m not sure if he’s alive. I need to further investigate. Also, I relate to the ISTP’s constant lack of amusement with others. Also, getting distracted from thoughts and ideas to the point of completely forgetting about the actual task is *way* too relatable

    this was one of the funniest videos MY GOD, so entertaining! per the comment question, i didn’t actually get triggered at any point in this video, but the INFJ ranking did slightly annoy me. i can get triggered! not enough to demonstrate to someone i don’t know well but still (this ENTP must not be close to any of the INFJs in her life if she thinks we are a void). as mentioned before, one of the fun points in these tier ranking videos is figuring out where this personality would place yours, and ngl i was WAY off with this one for the first time, definitely thought i would be in rip me, because i would try to make the ENTP feel bad somehow - INFJ, obviously

    I must agree about the ISFx. In order to truly get under their skin you have to really get to know them and what's important to them, and once you've found it, poking that bear on purpose just ends up seeming like bullying. ISFJ and ISFP are more likely to get sad and leave than they are to get angry lol

    As an INTP, the best way to trigger us is to start a conversation on a subject you don't know much about. I assure you, we'll lose our heads. We might even hit you with a random object, but that's another matter...

    • @cosmiclightning4723
      @cosmiclightning4723 Před 10 měsíci

      Yes, do that. That works. Emphasize you're very good and know a lot about the subject. Start misleading others and refuse to be corrected.
      Though if we know you're playing, it is pretty amusing.
      I'll probably keep the annoyance to myself though.

    • @snadianna
      @snadianna Před 10 měsíci +1

      I have to disagree a bit. If INTP don't know much about subject either, It'll not be effective. If INTP old enough, it'll not bother them so much. As 30+ yo INTP, I'm not going to be triggered by it. Maybe, a bit annoyed of the stupidity and a lack of meaning in conversation, but people around me most likely not notice it anyway. I'm in that stage of mind, when if I see that person say stupid things and don't listen if they're corrected, I just physically remove myself from conversation or say smth like "believe whatever you want". I'm not waisting my time and energy to correct somebody if they don't want to be corrected. My piont is, It could be annoying sometimes, but not to the point for me having a strong reaction. So, it's not triggering enough, imho.

    As an INTP, I used to get triggered all the time, but I eventually learned that I should just accept that other people’s opinions are valid and the ones that aren’t are meant to be pitied or laughed at (by invalid opinions, I mean people with superiority complexes simply because they’re a certain race, sexuality, or gender).

    As an INFJ, I'm not a tough nut to crack. In fact, it was quite easy for me to get triggered, but can only let myself out emotionally to certain people.
    I agree, maybe if that ENTP wasn't close to me and was trying to trigger me out of nowhere, I would just dismiss them and opt to avoid them afterward. I had an ENTP friend and they knew how to push the trigger button. We could end up bickering or bantering, though it never went too far. My ENTP friend has a developed Fe function and has an amazing social boundary. I think any ENTP who can show empathy and consideration of others' emotions, hence a developing Fe function could crack INFJ tough shell.

    Oh my gosh. The entp explaining the definition of trigger is so true. Its so annoying when people spout things and then don't define what they mean by certain words and then describe things using the words that don't deserve using those words. I don't think any of what I said now made sense but oop. I can't be bothered to edit it.

    As an INTJ I was probably Elmo tier as a teenager, but now in my 30s I'm more of a Rip Me. In fact, if I'm feeling particularly pleasant one day I'll likely trigger youuu.

  • @lobalee1873
    @lobalee1873 Před 6 měsíci +2

    The problem with trying to trigger an INFJ is that they love sincerity and are highly perceptive. As an INFJ, I can tell when someone is trying to get a rise out of me and I will immediately stop playing the game. It looks like I can't be triggered, but really I'm just watching to see what you do next. In reality, INFJs get triggered a decent amount, but I would put them in the "RIP Me" category if you manage to trigger one, because we tend to take our triggers seriously and personally. Also, if you see a trigger, it'd only be because you're someone the INFJ really trusts and then you'd feel horrible for purposefully triggering them.
