  • Hope this makes sense as I loose my self at times,Anyway I'm really happy to show you my drag link MOD. Plus a new way to minimise wheel wobble without shims,but I do mention a new method using ProTek clutch bell shims. And last but not least new shocks that aren't lc racing. They are really funky coloured and come with different spring rates.

    Hallo,
    Unfortunately, I am still waiting for my 124019 to arrive.
    Will hopefully arrive in the next days… 😊
    Therefore,
    I somehow only talk in some sort of "theoretical" 😉🧐 about this particular model… just in common sense out of my over 30 years of RC racing and working experience…
    I am following this new version of the legendary, shorter wheelbase model, because I quite sure, that It is a extremely high "value for the money" budget rc-buggy with quite a lot of features sharing with high competition racing-models.
    When I saw your headline about new shocks, I have wondered a little, but then I saw that you are just talking about different springs…
    Absolutely logical 👍👍👍
    In this topic I wonder why so fare hardly anybody has done something with different springs for set-up tuning…
    Keep on having a good RC FUN time…!!! 🍀

      To get to the differentials the only loctited screws are the top deck steering and mount screws they should come out very easy. Bottoms plate I don't know what your wanting to take off. Everything to get to the diffs is on top of the car. Any thing else

      It will stop but it's not due to lipo cut-off unfortunately, if and when the car stops. Go and pick it up, the biggest fault/gripe is people still try and drive the car back to them. Even with low voltage cut off you should always go and pick the car up.
      Like you don't attempt to drive 30 mile on a reserve tank that only gives 15 mile at best. Does that make sense dude.

      @@mehimrc1314 just took it back out after working on it for hours. I put the front bumper on and had to cut the shell some. Ended up taking out some more slop from the front end. I was able to get full throttle finally for a short time a few times but quickly ran out of asphalt so I had to brake. It’s fast man. Really fast. This was with the shocks leaked out too. The new ones were supposed to come today but they were put off till tomorrow from Amazon. It still likes to pull left or right, depends on the last input I put with the remote. Once it’s locked in I can open it up though. I’m wondering if using the gyro would help with the minute adjustments to get it straight? Net thing I am gonna tackle is making sure all the rod ends left and right are the same length with calipers. It’s getting better. Not perfect, but better.

If it feel heavy or grabby loosen a TINY bit the two screws that go into either steering post. Should help the steering people over tighten those two screws. • @mehimrc1314
      @mehimrc1314  Před 3 lety +1

      The wheel plastic may be slightly thicker around the axle hole. That would be my only conclusion. The thicker bearing doesn't alter the amount off thread available for the nut. That would only come down to thicker rims OR wide hex adapters. I've tried explaining this to a few people, hope fully it makes sense. What ever happens behind that pin doesn't effect what you add after it.
