This video is the part 4 of our Xpander Xtensive Review series. This episode includes 10 dislikes, hates and problems with our Xpander. Our video was made for prospective owners to know more about the xpander and hopefully to help them choose a car that is right for them.
In this video we emphasize also that all cars have problems. Even the more expensive cars in the market have their share of problems. But this video is targeted to the negatives that we found in our car.

Thanks for this informative video at least future expander owners will have an idea what to expect. Flaws mentioned are just fine, there are hacks to overcome them. Issues may be present in any brand even if it’s newly purchased. In terms of features not included, it would be just fine. Budget-wise it is acceptable. For instance, although I have budget for mirage HB gls. However, I opted to take glx because there are features in the former wherein I think I do not need - keyless entry, push-button start, etc. The latter is a lot more cost-effective. My Raj is more than 7 years old already and I haven’t encountered any major issues so far.

Ang importante lang naman, it will take you from point A to point B. Basta hindi ka ititirik sa daan.
Also, even other competitors have bare metal on the liftgate(back door). Not really a flaw since manufacturers do everything to cut cost withouth sacrificing the need for standard features lalo na ngayon with TRAIN law in effect.
Yung mechanical key ginagamit lang yan pambukas ng door kapag low bat ang keyfob mo pwede rin gamitin para sa shift lock(depends on car manufacturer)
Kapag lowbatt keyfob mo at gusto mong paandarin ang sasakyan itapat mo lang yung lowbat na keyfob sa pushstart button then put your foot on the brake and press the push start button to start the engine.
Note: basic yan sa lahat ng sasakyan na may push start button. Check your manual din dahil konti lang nakakaalam nito.

Nice perspective from we can relate as consumers. Yung ibang issues baka may mga third party accessories lalabas in the future or universal parts pang DIY/workaround. Pwede din gamitin yung cons dito sa video sa checklist pag bibili. Yung mga parang shoutout mas ok siguro pag isang lugar and maliit lang

Oo minimal lang at un lang din kya ng budget at ung laki o seating capacity, i must admitmay natutunan ako kahit 21 yrs ako sa car sales dyan sa Pinas at 6yrs dito. Xpander din GLS kukunin ko pag uwi nmin dahil takot kami mag taxi now pandemic . Thaks sa info

The physical key is used when the battery is dead ang you cant unlock your doors.
Para sa number 5, hold mo lang yung mode para magbukas yung sa system. Yan ang shortcut. Explore din mnsan!

pag nalowbat ung key mo, u can use the manual key sa pag open ng pinto, then ung housing ng key eh itap nyo po sa push start button para mag start sha if im not mistaken..

I agree with the lack of the armrest and the sensitivity to the wind. I am surprised by the comment on the lack of lights on the media touchscreen. May red backlight naman sa akin ah...clear sa gabi naman.

Maganda yung ginawa nyong format dun sa expanded Xpander review, lalo na yung ilang portions dun sa part 3. Halimbawa yung pag demo ni Elaine dun sa Infotainment system, at yung pag demo ni RM ng windows at side mirror controls. Sana idagdag nyo ang mga yan sa future reviews nyo. It would be very informative and helpful lalo.

Boss d mo kelangan nung susi para istart yung sasakyan. Push start na yan e. Pag nalowbat yung remote ng push start ipapaalam sayo ng kotse, pero pag binalewala mo hanggang sa nagempty kelangan mo lang ilapit sa push start button para iistart sasakyan.

Regarding sa keyless entry and push start system, ang alam ko ganyan din sa Toyota. Pang bukas lang ng pinto yung physical key. BTW, Try nyo panoorin yung review sa Mitsubishi Mirage ni Doug DeMuro. May mga complain din sya tungkol sa cost cutting ng Mitsu.

Parang masmabuti po siguro kung cons yung ginamit niyo na term rather than flaws. Some aren't actually flaws, pero ganun po talaga, given the low price point and its target market.

-pwedeng gamitin yan to start the engine hindi lang para sa door yan. Pag ang transmitter is lowbat so hindi makapag transmit nang signal. Ang gagawin ninyo ay just tap the metal part of the transmitter (key) sa "Push Button" then push it and the engine will start. Make it sure naka step sa "brake" and nasa "park" ang transmission before ninyo i-tap and push para mag start ang engine.

@@RiTRidinginTandem hindi po susi ang gagamitin mo pag lowbat yung keyfob parin ilalapit mo yan keyfob at gagawin mong pantulak sa push/start kasi nga low bat kaya ilalapit mo , ang susi na yan ay para sa door lang talaga.

Parang mahina ang fuse seatter kaya naging isue sa expander user.
Nice vlog. Lahat ng dislikes nyo it all goes down to price considerations. You can’t compare mid level vehicle to high end vehicle. Syempre there’s a big difference in the price so it explains to your dislikes. Mitsubishi xpander targeted the middle class users kaya middle class din ang features nya. So far naman sa experience ko in driving xpander ramdAm mo yung effect ng 1.5 Ltr engine. Me difference talaga sa bigger engine displacement. Pero ok na din dahil mahal ang gasoline. It’s an all around vehicle naman. Good luck and have a safe driving experience.

2018 Mirage yung sakin, 1 year ko na sya ginagamit, so far wla akong problema.
08:20 in my country (Indonesia) the key is used so the car can be moved manually by the parking attendants if there’s a limited parking space or parallel park.
LOL......so basically your saying you don't trust the parking attendants in Indonesia starting your car with your keyless transponder!?!

This is really helpful most specially to first time buyers. I'm a toyota avanza 3rd gen owner for 3.5 years and happy for mitsubishi na tumataas yung marketability nya sa automotive industry because of xpander. I'm really amazed with the specs of this car.

Yun manual key for door lock din sya. In case gusto mo lock/unlock yun car while engine is running at lalabas ka pwede mo sya gamitin.

Ok lang yun sir para alam mo kung naiwan mo sa labas yung susi. :) hehehe
The key is for the doors and the shift lock lang talaga po. You need the remote to be near sa button to start the engine if low batt na yung remote. Another thing na di ko gusto sa Xpander is if low batt na siya, yes you can push the car using shift lock but if locked yung steering wheel, you can't steer....
Nagulat din ako di ata inexplain sa kanila ng dealer yun, 2014 nung nauuso na push start button sinabi na skn na pag nalowbat ka na dun mo lang magagamit susi para buksan yung pintuan at yung remote prn gagamitin mo, ilalapit nlng dun sa push start button para magstart. Pag malakas kasi battery malalaman na ng oto agad na nasa loob yung remote at msstart agad. Pero pag lowbat na un prn ggmtn.. walang susi susi, pang pinto lang tlga.
Nakakatakot, lo bat nothing will work.

The attached spare key sa key fob di lang pang lock o pang open sa door when the battery is dead. Pde din pang lock sa door while the engine is running with the a/c is on.
Remember you cannot lock the car with the key fob if the engine is running. Just for cooling purposes while the car is under the sun. Kung bga palamigin mo muna sa loob. Unless may engine start sa key fob. You can check it out.
There’s a difference between cost cutting and keeping the cost down. The latter is i think what you guys are trying to say.

Ok talaga, daily ko gina gamit for 80 km of travel, ang na notice Kung problem lang ang oil gauge, in same distance and way ang gauge baba sa 70 km, 60km and 50km. Minsan nga 40km mag da down na.
1. Un bakal sa likod may purpose yan.
2. No armrest no need kasi yan optional
3. Natural naman na mass production yan as if they will produced 10 units lang
4. Natural its moving depende sa takbo mo
Theres no perfect vehicles. It doesn't matter if you like it (you want it) or not. Maybe if you have spend more budget, you can have best vehicles. Bad, good, better and best. Dont forget what you pay is what you get. baby!

Boss pag battery low na yung keyfab or yung remote tapos ayaw magstart ilalagay niyo lang yung keyfab sa may slot sa side ng shifter niyo. Then ipasok niyo dun yung keyfab then yun masstart niyo na mitsu niyo 🙂

As a Filipino/American born, raised, and currently living here in America that doesn't speak or understand the Filipino language, I am in the process of purchasing a 2019 Xpander for my relatives back home in the Philippines and take delivery beginning March 2020. I have watched all your videos regarding your past experiences and reviews with your 2019 Xpander and not only learned a lot but am extremely grateful for your reviews thus far . With that said (LOL) what is the deal with your inconsistencies speaking english then tagalog (in America we call that "Tagolish" speaking part Tagalog & english) and using english subtitles and not using subtitles and allowing comments and disabling comments. I have been able to figure out and translate most of your videos to understand your opinions and your message getting across but find it frustrating as a fellow kababayan here in America to fully understand. I don't know how many more "Xtensive Reviews" you plan on making with your 2019 Xpander but if you do, would you be so kind to either speak english or use english subtitles throughout your next videos? I understand probably that majority of your subscribers only understand Filipino, but if you want to grow your subscribers then please continue using english subtitles.
Regarding this video though it wasn't written out, I'm guessing #8 No cover on seatbelt mount, #10 Fuses mounted to deep??, (though you only stated 10 things, you mentioned 11) #11 Physical key won't start vehicle . I figure most of these issues was to keep costs down as this vehicle was to offer its clients an affordable "bang for buck" MPV. Regarding the physical key, as owner of multiple keyless start vehicles, the physical key allows manual entry into the vehicle to gain access to the vehicle's dead battery (for whatever reason) to replace or allow the transmission to put into neutral to allow vehicle to be transported to repair shop or where ever and lock the glove compartment. If the vehicle were to offer both a keyless and physical key start ignition, the vehicle still wouldn't start cause the onboard computer would be dead and needs power to communicate with the keyless fob transponder in order for the vehicle to start. I would also like to add a big dislike regarding safety concern is no side airbag curtain for ANY of the passengers especially the rear!
Again I can't stress how grateful i am for your reviews on 2019 Xpander which is probably thee most thorough reviews out on the internet and have definitely subscribed with notification in hopes you continue making future long term reviews on your 2019 Xpander.

The key is use to open the door car only, theres no where you can put or insert the key to start the engine, only the remote can do basta nasa loob yun, when the remote become low batt you can still start the engine just place the remote on the car start button and click to start.

1.kahit walang patungan ng kamay sa gitna pwede naman sa gilid,2.yung radio kapag gabi my ilaw yung mga buttons non (kasi meron yung amin),3.yung buttons sa manibela gumagana yon baka wala lang battery or ubusna yung battery nung inyo,4.yung aircon sa 2 row hindi kailangan na automatic siya magoff kasi paano if kapag binuksan mo na yung aircon magbubukas din yung sa likod ehh paano if wala palang sakay sa likod edi nasayang lang,5.kasalanan ba ng creator at nung car if hindi pasok sa quality na hinahanap niyo yung car atchaka ginawa to ng creator sa way na gusto niyang kalabasan neto edi if hindi okay sainyo hindi niyo na dapat binili

First, you're pleasant to watch. Even when you're telling us what you don't like about your car. But 10 things you don't like are plenty. Good thing not one had to do with the engine. Oops. You mentioned the fuel pump issue in another video. Buying something that costs as much as a small house needs careful consideration. Cause when you buy a car and later say okay lang about the things you don't like no matter how minor lessens the experience of enjoying your car. And yes problems will and do arise. That's why it's better to buy on the 2nd or 3rd year of a new model. It's a million pesos that will put a smile on our faces and hearts even when our car is old. Or will make you wish you hadn't bought the car.
