I thought at first when my Ertiga was new that the fuel gauge was defective. After several refills I can attest that this baby sips fuel like a motorcycle. I love how it drives sporty even with a full load of 7 people but it maintains it's fuel efficiency.
Maybe a BMW 1200 cc motorcycle. Still good enough but gasoline burns faster than diesel so your average will go down once you are stuck in traffic.

No regrets in getting an ertiga!! Super fuel efficient. Mine is 4yrs now and i haven't change anything yet. Maybe brake pads nxt month.

I wanted to buy a Toyota Raize, but after being turned off with the antics of Toyota sales agents, I conveniently bought an Ertiga. I am so satisfied with it. We bought it as our third car but we ended up using it every day now because of the fuel efficiency and utility. A must for todays world of crazy diesel prices.

I can attest to that, Caco. I don't need to gas up that often, and I don't even do full tanks if not going out of town on long drives, 2 hours or more. As you said, it is as frugal as...our grandmothers. 😂

Innova has a 2.8L Diesel engine while both Ertiga and Xpander have 1.5L gasoline engine but these MPVs have almost the same fuel efficiency. I would say Innova won this.

Correction, there's no 2.4L engine for the innova here in the Philippines. Only 2.8L Monster.

We got 18km/L mix highway and city drive with innova manual on a fully load.
My Mobilio is actually getting around 7km/L in the city before the pandemic. In the highway, it's between 16-17km/L.

The original MPV the tamaraw fx with 5k engine is way below in terms of power but was good enough to haul 11 passengers including the driver. Factoring the number of passengers and the hp that it delivers when fully loaded with passengers. Nothing beats the original modern MPV Tamaraw FX in terms of fuel efficiency.
Yes! bring back the affordable diesel AUVs. Modern versions of the Revo/FX, Adventure, Highlander/Crosswind.

Innova 8.2km in city driving seriously? Im getting 9.5 to 10km/L in hellish traffic of commonwealth, fairview and quezon ave.

Ertiga user here. Done 460+km with 20liters of fuel yesterday.. Is that fuel efficient? My average speed is 100kph with max speed of 140kph (on straight 4lanes road). 8 people inside..
460 divide 20 = 23km per liter
