the show is literally a badly written wattpad fanfic irl, just jackson wang throwing every single party is missing

  • @samcarmen

The Weekend kicking out a good director simply bc it was highlighting women’s struggles and not his own narrative is truly laughable. Not surprised, he likes the attention on him

Shows like this seem to be made just to promote sex and drugs and try to make it look aesthetic

  • @noturgal9581

I'm so glad a lot of people also found the show disgusting I was afraid they'd support it blindly

  • @natufdo8367

I think Jennie chose the worst project for her acting debut. There's nothing wrong with steamy scenes but not everything have to be overly sexual in order to execute their vision. Industry is gaslighting people into believe that sexual scenes are necessary for the plot. I didn't even bothered to watch Euphoria for the same reason. Hollywood constantly romanticise drugs, guns and many more crimes and people think it's cool.

A show that was meant to show the perverse and toxic side of the music/entertainment industry ended up becoming the thing they were trying to make a commentary about. When the Weekend kicked out the original director and put Sam in charge, the original message got muddied.

  • @JN-ee8qp

"jennie signed up before sam wasn in the scene" meanwhile jennie praising Sam and throwing compliments for him left and right in the interview.😂😂😂😂😂

People who are defending Jennie and everyone who’s involved in this mess are disgusting. R*ape and drugs are NOT aesthetics.…. Romanticizing crimes is not normal.

  • @yomarysanchez6263

The thing is that her fans are the ones screaming “he is misogynistic “ but Jennie be accepting or participating in a show were misogyny shines. There’s no woman empowerment here.

  • @melisonline_

The issue isn’t “oh Jennie is a grown woman she can do what she wants” Like obviously yes, thats true she can do what she wants but the real issue is that she is playing into sam’s weird ass directing and enabling him to recreate his creepy kinks/fantasies through this series. I love jennie but Sam is just a red flag and I think she should’ve pulled out of the show when Amy was kicked out of directing. This show was supposed to bring awareness to the dark realities of fame and the exploitation but now it just glorifies it and has become everything it was against, its upsetting :/

Jennie wants western validation so badly.

"She put more effort into that little choreography than some of her actual performances" STOP 😂but its true the check must have cleared for Jennie

  • @leeheeseungstan1751

This show is disgusting and it’s sad how Jennie takes part in it. Is Jennie really okay with being exploited and sexualized? She knows what she’s doing and it’s so gross

  • @nellarichter981

The irony: her wanting to break free from the misogynistic k-pop idol image by literally joining a show that's as anti-feministic as it can get. She went out of the frying pan into the fire lol

  • @series9623

and her fans are sooo arrogant, bragging sooo hard about every project she has😅 and when things don't go the way they expect, they always turn the story to make jennie looks like the victim. and in this case, don't tell me jennie doesn't know what she's getting into.she said herself that she adores Sam's works.she signed after they changed the female director to Sam. probably jennie was hoping this one will become a huge success like Euphoria.

  • @wizard_of_waverly_place

Jennie literally said in the interview she portrayed her authentic self in the show and also that she loves sam as a director. So stop defending her by saying she was victim of script and director change. She herself chose to do soft p*rn to enter hollywood. Reeks of desperation.

  • @bella4800

Jennie wants this.. she said so herself. She read the script and accepted it. If what they say that the plot was changed, she has a choice to back out or file a case to the production team.. nobody forced her to do it and she is comfortable doing it. She knows that in SK they have "standards" with idols. Don't expect people to always love your fave. You are her fans so it is understandable you love her but don't expect everybody will. If she gets mixed opinion because of beliefs, values and religion of people then let it be. Again, nobody forced her so her fans should also not force anyone to bow down and praise her. Last... never drag other idols into this because this is her choice and others have nothing to do with it.

Idk why people are so surprised The Weekend greenlight such a show when his whole music career is based around toxic love, sex, & drugs. 🤷

  • @amanalien9156

The cigrate has more screen time then Jennie😂😂

Like were people expecting this show to be good. Like the teaser of this show was so disgusting and I knew it would be a flop. As soon as I saw who the director was, I just knew this show was gonna go downhill. Stop defending Jennie, she chose to be on the show, she knew what the script was. She’s trying to be western but she doesn’t know that Sam is using her for clout. Knetz are gonna go wild.
