It broke my heart when i saw Lincoln dint like his tent 😢😢😢 joel and bonnie were so excited!! I have learnt a lesson from it that next time if i dont like something my parents gave me ill still pretend to like it 😁😁😁😁 anyways love all of you and i hope lincoln start to like his tent 😁

Wow, that makes sense! That is probably why after they showed him he could get in an out he was perfectly happy. So smart.
My Mom taught me as a kid to always be honest about stuff she got me, or food she cooked me, her reasoning was, she loves me and wants me to be happy but mostly if I fib and say I like a meal, I will likely be presented with it again and gifts she was so willing to exchange them as she wanted me happy. All that to say, if Your folks get you something you don't like, jump in their arms, tell them how much you appreciate their effort and then say, I am soo sorry, I really want to like it, or even, I will learn to love it since you gave it to me in love. xoxo You sound like you are a great great kid to your parents and they are lucky to have you.

Love that tent. We have a small 1-2 man tent from when it was just my husband and I. When the kids want a treat, we let them put it up in their room and have a sleep over. They love it!
Oh my heck poor Joel he was so sad that Lincoln didn't like his own tent. I'm sorry but I laughed so bad when Lincoln instantly said he didn't like it and then Joel's face was hilarious.. I may have watched it more then once...lol.. Thank goodness Lincoln came around...lol... 👍😊

I saw a comment that suggested telling Lincoln he could go in the big tent when he goes on the big potty (potty trained). I thought is was an interesting incentive and maybe a good idea/tool for you? Anyway just figured I'd mention it just in case :)

Omg!! This same thing happened to me. I was so excited for my sons new tent. He had been begging to go camping, making tents and forts all over the house, so for Christmas I moved his little crib mattress into a tent just like this one. He was NOT happy. After a day or two I thought okay, he doesn’t like it. I Went to take it out and he cried. Dang tent stayed a year in his room, Lol!!
