@Achillez20 Exactly, she has a great touch and good passing in the center. I agree boxx loses it a lot and Carli does take too many shots. But you'll never score if don't shoot? I think Carli is usually able to at least get them on frame.And when it's on frame you never know what can happen? Just look at the goal she DID score in the Colombia game. She also DID nail her first pk against Brazil. Last time I checked a center mid is supposed to keep possession and scoring comes as a plus.
Sorry to see her choke on the PK like that in the final. It wasn't even on goal. I was disappointed the coach didn't let Alex Morgan, the hot player in the game, with one goal and one assist, take it instead.
@NearsL lol - i guess you could go to nike's website and check out the sizing charts in the lady's shirt... but what i've seen some guys do is - order a men's jersey and customize it with a WNT's player name... if that made any sense lol - like they will order the MNT jersey but add Rapinoe 15 on the back or something like that... cuz unfortunately nike has yet to make male apparel - so you guys can represent and support the WNT :)

And even if you have that vision to play the passes through to your striker, would the striker need power and speed to hold of and run from the defender.. I watched some games and i didn't see one player with these qualities.. They barely made a good cross without pressure, and they can't shoot, they don't hit the target and even if they did they wouldn't have enough power to make the goal..
@PsychedelicKiller93 This US team went against competition that was ALOT better than Women teams from 99. Them being this dominant even now that so many more national teams play great pretty much shows they would've easily won the past cups.

The US had more shots but still Japan came back twice against a physically stronger team. You don't need to be a genius to state that "The center midfield is by far the biggest key to good ball possession.
