They lived in Lemon City now known as little Haiti. In 1894, they moved to Coconut Grove, biscayne blvd was their beach. When the city incorporated in 1894 (?), they were paid $394.00 for beach to build the blvd. All the land water side of Biscayne blvd was filled in. That’s why the spoil islands got build. Pan American World Airways began service in Dinner Key and build the hangars. Later moving to 36 th street.

JonnyC321 Chinese won't make anything like that. Almost no chinese can swim so they won't be making them for their internal market and to go about making something that's an unknown product to a foreign market, as a potential manufacturer with no experience of anything water related I doubt there would be any chinese risking a serious investment on this.

Looks like the board itself houses the rechargeable battery, motor, and I'm guessing some of the drive train through a 90 degree shaft down to the propeller unit. Speed though is only up to 25 mph, not knots. At 25 knots that is 28.75 mph. Also looks like you need to be in great shape and don't overestimate time remaining on the charge which lasts from 50 to 60 minutes depending on usage and speed. And you need to figure out your balance on it. Price tag is rather high and I likely won't be riding one... not so young anymore. The guy in this video is very experienced, also they likely edited out other people as much as possible, still a fun video.
why would you need to be in great shape? all you have to o is stand there. also im pretty sure that whilst the battery might be in the board, the motor is definitely not that thing supporting the board is a fin, way to small to house something like that. i bet all that stuff is below the surface

It's seems to be shot really early in the morning (around sunrise) so people are in their beds... :). Especially since those buildings are mostly hotels. I'm more surprised about how calm the water is, I've been in Miami several times and have never seen water so calm as it's often windy or breezy with boats around, they picked really nice day/time to record this :)

The 13gs is to recoup the cost of all the R&D as well as the insanely expensive hydrofoil moulds and machines to build them. Once a mass production scale is achieved they will still cost like 4-5g
