You will need the PROGRAMMING CABLE which is $14 when you order the phase runner. You will also need a laptop or PC to hook the bike up to the computer. The controller is plug n play and the battery plugs directly into the controller. The battery was $529 in 2/23 but now it is closer to $580 as of 3/6/23

Man that’s awesome, so you only replaced the speed controller, display and battery?
Careful with the UPP triangle battery mounted upside down. UPP usually puts the BMS on the back of the triangle, towards the top. With it positioned like that, the Weight of the cells might be pressing down on the BMS. Also i think if any water or moisture gets in the battery in that position, the BMS might be down at the bottom swimming in it. Might want to drill a drain hole and potentially add some foam inside the battery and make sure the BMS isnt getting smurshed. Case should be pretty easy to open, just a bunch of screws. Ive had a few of thesse batteries get wet and the BMS is typically first to go

You are the king of the moped style ebikes. I am going to pull the trigger and get one of these to add to my ebikes but you keep brining in more brands and we also have the DIY build options that makes the choice of which direction to go much harder. Great videos and great builds.
i suggest owning an ebike from a company and building one on the side over time because you will learn alot as you go and things take time as well

Hi on the throttle sticking normally a plastic washer is used between the rubber hand grip to stop binding if yours is that type. goods videos . scott
I've a stock 1500w motor with hubsink and statorade using a phaserunner controller. I think it's set at 4000w 52v 80A and she moves.
How's the cooling with the hubsinks and statorade? I can push 80 amps to my 1500w hub but I've turned it down so I don't melt anything
@paul mryglod I live on a hilly island and have tested it on some huge hills and it's amazing I think as I get very little motor heat, the phase cables feel normal. I put heatsink on the phaserunner to help cooling and that's attached to the frame.
Hub sinks and statorade are well worth the money. They're amazing
the voltage/battery gauge on the 72v battery can just pop out, so you could flip it to be right side up. I have the same battery on my diy build

Adding a stronger motor won’t make a big difference . The biggest single difference would be a stronger controller with like an 50- 80 amp output

If it’s an l1019 motor connector. Look it up on Google. Then disconnect your motor connector and look
Just curious, have you felt the motor or phase runner after riding? Just wondering if either are heating up.
yes. not on a long trip but with 3-5miles riding yes and all seemed good. controller gets hotter than the motor because its so small but its pushing the power its rated for.
Some statorade would be great to keep that DD motor cooler…Great job on the build!

I run the same battery on a BBSHD.Using an ASI BAC855. Running a mountain bike. Never did a top speed on it yet but the acceleration is very nice.
I mostly run 1000W to keep my sanity in check and keep the police from asking questions. But when I need the acceleration just a press of a button I get 3000W to get me going in a decent hurry!
How is the heat on the motor? Did you ever just feel the motor and see how warm it was?

Motor will burn out in few days or weeks pending on the 3 main wires update

Can this be done with a Zooz 750?

With the new controller is there still a throttle delay? like the stock zooz has a 1 second delay to re engage throttle if you let off it
You can adjust it to however fast you want it to work.

On the bike that you just unboxed more than likely the accelerator is pushed too far down on the handle bars and is Rubbing Loosen it up push it out a little bit and it will probably Snap back like it's supposed to... I like that bike it's pretty nice Looking ,I really enjoy your videos keep making them And the longer the better
i've actually taken it off the bike and its still not springing back. so ill most likely do the video with it like that because a replacement part will take awhile

Amps wont increase your power it just gives you more time on the bike, at least that's my understanding, I could be wrong. -

Who can deal with that noisy small engine and fumes? Yeah you can get a cheap gas car too but you'd be missing the point of it all. There's just something special about an electric quiet bike.
