- Here's another '68 Camaro for you guys. Very different from the one we showed you recently but the same old school approach. This one makes more power at over 600 hp and is a blast to drive!
Enjoy!

How can you not love a guy who’s honest enough to say “I ran out of money?” Something we’ve all been through.
That hust happened to me! Might be due to the 13 thow BBC 632.
These cars are so much better with 5-600 hp small block though and the leaf springs are how they are meant to be and feel.
Old muscle cars have so much soul.
They really do.
Character is what it is.......
Beautiful car. I love the paint job and the carbon fibre features. Wouldn’t change a thing, except maybe park it in my driveway.😀👍👍
😂 good place to park it. It’s still in my garage and I love seeing it there. Really cool car!
Rick Bullock how about some reverse lights lol
Old school cars should sound appropriately. This car sounds great!
Pure old school cool
Big thumbs up for Nino for sharing the love.... Old Skool Rules... Shawn n Kyle on point.... Respect for across the pond.
Thanks man and yeah, Nino is so cool sharing his cars as he does. Extremely generous guy. And there’s a couple more to come.
Love the car and love color. Don't care for stripe combination or the engine and transmission combo. Big block, automatic, small block, manual that's just my opinion. Love the Tiger Cage roll cage, would either paint black to blend in or yellow for contrast. Wish they still made bolt in Tiger Cages and for more modern cars. But at the end of the day he built what he wanted. Bravo!
The '68 Camaro's rear leaf suspension isn't all that bad. They work decently with just the addition of GOOD traction bars and decent shocks. This Camaro has the right mix of yellow, black, and chrome and the perfect stance.Very good looking car...
I know leaf’s can work but coilovers are that much better. Niño has since changed the rear on this Camaro to coils. And I agree it’s a great blend of black, yellow & chrome 👊
That's one of the sweetest Camaros I've ever seen. 💯
I enjoy every car you post but these builds are why I love the channel.
Love the old school theme. Carburetor. Big block. Leaf springs. Bumblebee is ready to sting!!!!!!!
Yep. I’d love to see what it’s like with modern suspension and it’s a badass as is for sure. Love the big block power!
Whoa... 6-speed, love it!!! Makes it that much nicer than an auto!
Way better than auto. Love that it’s a 6 speed.
Americans are addicted to auto trans, performance cars needs manual!
And losse race with same car wth auto
Just watched, brings me back to my ‘67 SS350 4-speed, awesome episode, always looking to the next one👊💯👊
Knew it would take you back. I love this car.
Hot rodding for ages was ingenuity and spending money as you had it.
My love for old school? You will drive it and fully enjoy it
I can appreciate a guy that has to work with a budget and compromise.
Me too 👊
Hope he was able to finish that suspension. Badass Camaro. Love the Yellow and Black!
Since the shoot the suspension has been handled and I’m dying to drive it!
AutotopiaLA Awesome! I am an Iowa boy so I really love that yellow and black!
I like that car, you cant tell its not a $250,000 build although it lools and drives just as great.. Sounds wonderful.. A more realist one to shot for!! 💙 IT
And he’s updated the rear suspension since we shot this. Great driver
Badass ride. Love these videos man. Speedcore is right down the road from me here in WI. They do some crazy work
New sub here. I like this car a lot! Really keeps the old school vibe with some modern touches. Really nice!
Thanks for the sub! Yeah, I think they did a great job with this one and I love the black & yellow combo.
Nino has some badass rides but this might be the best looking one he has imo.
I super appreciate your channel brother. I had a 71 big block vette built to 550 hp, missed that sound . I also loved the 66 Shelby flog.
Another beautiful car and great video! Thanks
Thank you! And yeah, this is a great car.
I am digging the yellow and black paint scheme.
Yeah, this whole car is cool and since the shoot he upgraded to a 4 link rear with coils
AutotopiaLA I have a 67 Camaro I am building and I am going with the Detroit speed subframe and their four link.
Killing it once again man
Thanks! This was so fun to shoot!!
I would still love to see you show some different types of cars... such as a 60's drag car with lots of history (an old Willys gasser, Anglia, Austin, Topolino, Cobra Jet Mustang, super duty Pontiac, a max wedge superstock Mopar, etc..) a cool survivor or barn find, a very rare optioned muscle car that is all original and unrestored, etc. I think it would really balance out your channel and draw in a lot more viewers. It seems to be a bit heavy on the restomods right now. Just some friendly advice and all in love brother! Love the channel and I appreciate the work and attention that you put into it. Keep it up!!
Thanks for your input. I welcome and appreciate it. Good ideas. I have a friend that has massive drag race history and is a big gasser guy. Calling him tomorrow. There’s one for you.
I learned something watching this, I didn’t know BMW wheels fit Camaro
Love the car, this is my favorite year of the camaro. Although I would make the yellow a bit darker, more gold in color
I just found your channel, but I think it's THE best muscle car review channel at this moment.
Lovely car. I wonder how it would look with bumber delete.
Probably one of the best Camaro i've seen on your channel. Clean, mean, nice thick tires not just big rims with thin tires. We see lots of powerful cars here on the channel but most of them have thin tires. In my opinion, maybe wrong, but a muscle car should have a decent thick tire wall. Adds comfort to the stiff ride and also much better looking.
yes.
Another great video and car!
Shawn, I had a 68 back in the day.No where near the power,But helluva lot a fun! You are a blessed man!!
Awesome!! Yeah, I feel extraordinarily lucky and blessed I promise you that.
Yet one more Tasteful Classic Car.. looks without being flashy.. I even like the sort of AMC Javelin hood Graffic
Agreed
Finally a old school muscle car big block camaro
Finally? We show a fair amount of old school big blocks and will show more soon I promise
Damn. That would look sweet in my garage. Hard work pays of
Right?! Really great car. Nino has some special ones.
Good job. That car moves well.
Thanks and yeah, total blast to drive.
Sweet Camaro! The wheels look great! The trained eye notices that the bumpers are nicely shortened & tucked.
Good eye Calvin and aren’t the BMW wheels cool on it? They looks so right.
AutotopiaLA Indeed!
Yes old school in your face man I like it
Hell yes!!
Killa build, Nikko & Co! Sure, it's "Bumblebee", but Camaros and all the other "PONY" cars were rocking that colour scheme well before Cybertron was having marital problems lol...
Completely love the old school approach, and was quietly impressed with the choice of gearbox! The banger 'box that all the kool kids were runnin' before the silky smooth T-56...
Coil-overs are nice, but there's nothing wrong with a properly set up leaf spring rear end, especially if there's no future plans to squeeze any more mumbo out of that frisky 502! Slapper bars, Koni's and an adjustable pinion snubber were all you needed back in the day and they flat out worked...
Murdered out BMW wheels really suit her, too! Who would of thought... Carbon fibre bits are a nice touch, also.
LOVE it, Nino!! Keep doing what you do, brother, keeping the fire alive... Really dig your taste in automotive "ART"...
Ooops, my apologies for digging up a 6 year old upload, Shawn!! Hahahaa!!
Cheers bro!!
Crackles.
Love your comment here!! 😂😂
@@AutotopiaLA hey, Shawn he's a funny guy, that Crackles 😉🤭
I kinda like that it has leaf springs. It's a bad ass car and it's not over the top.
Great job living the American dream nino
Perfect stance. love it.
And since this shoot he upgrades rear suspension to coil overs...even cooler now
This is the way theses old school cars should be done leave it stock still carburated and a few up grades but not totally going crazy over board keep it simple I like this and I am a Mopar guy.
Excellent!
That’s our boy Nino with some killer rides
Beautiful machine!
Sure is and it’s had a few suspension upgrades since we shot this
Hey shawn another great video- huge props to nino man sounds like a good dude. I had to sell my 64 chevelle ss convertible a few years ago-bummer- but im looking to build a 65 chevelle or 65 tempest soon. Adios from denver Colorado
Wow wow wow!! I love this channel
It's nice to see a car that hasn't been LS swapped
Getting pretty rare
ABSOLUTE beauty of a car, I like the build style, and i would keep the leaf springs too haha
Too late...he went coils recently
@@AutotopiaLA oh well maybe just his next car then
Next to the kids 68 this is the best car yet
I never write this but man I look forward to your videos
Wow man! Thanks. I appreciate hearing that. We’ll keep em coming I promise.
I love it! 🤘
I knew you’d be into this one Aidan!
Beautiful Camaro I like it
It’s a good one for sure.
love those oem BMW style 37 wheels on the camaro
It's a great car!
Perfect car!
Agreed 👊
It sounds like Nino is living the American dream and collecting American muscle. Good for him. Btw, he also has a bunch of cool cars. Nobody cares what suspension he's running. It's just a plain nice ride!
Beautiful. To many camaro stories. Know where ss is. In shed past 40 years. I've begged to build it. Use to be WICKED. Nino got the baddest rides.
Nino does have some killer rides. He’s such a cool guy too.
Beautiful I love it ! although it's not the same year it reminds me of Bumblebee. It also reminds me of a car that I used to walk past walking to jr high, because it looks exactly like that car. The owner of that yellow camaro used to fire it up when I was walking by every once in awhile and now that I think of it, it's probably more than likely one of the reasons that fueled my passion to build hot rods. Nothing like a finely-tuned muscle car running the streets
You’re so damn cool Lukasz!!
No you are brother ! Hahahahaha dont make me laugh
We need to see Nino, and his builds from scratch. I enjoyed it a whole lot..
Definitely need more Nino on the channel
Watching ad as I type this... awwww shit!!! Shawn!!!!! You!!! You !!!you!!!!!!
Got you!!!
that is badass
Yes it is and he’s since upgraded his rear suspension. Such a cool Camaro!
I like this car better than most. You don’t have to be rich to have a good time and that car would hook if it had some traction Bars on back. Nice Ride my Friend.
great car and
nice!
Sweet
What a beaut!
Nice.
Not a bad one and has new suspension since the shoot
i like the same year mustangs but these camaros are so bad ass
Saw a 68 Camaro just last night on fb marketplace for 5,000. Engine was built, body was rough but i didn't care it was badass. Sold today sadly.
Nino's definitely a guy I would like to be friends with!
He’s such a cool guy. Still works 6-7 days a week. We’ve got a couple more of his we’re going to shoot soon.
I think that was the most mild test drive that I've seen so far.
I’m way too nice with other peoples cars I guess
@@AutotopiaLA with this one I think you were a little. Of course without the owner with me, I'd be the same way. "Don't worry it revs to 8k"... in my head, "keep it under 5k". LOL
@@AutotopiaLA love your channel though. Definitely some of the most beautifully moded classics I've ever seen. Hands down best channel on CZcams.
@@charlesespinoza9961 thank you! I really appreciate that. Me and the guys work hard at it and love hearing that
great story of the owner i have my own shopbut i dont have a camaro because Europe hehe
The owner is such a cool guy and this car is old school cool am the way
That Double Din stereo adapter is cool, hard to find those.
definitely not clickbait
Far from it. I never do clickbait as it pisses me off.
tell Nino good job!
I will. He’s a hell of a guy
Yellow is cool
Very cool ride. Not sure I agree with the 7500 rpm and running that dual plane intake. That intake would be giving up a lot of ponies at that engine speed. And he better be running a solid roller to get there as well.
Most real car guys have limited budgets, so there's certainly nothing wrong with a more stock traditional suspension, create motor or chassis. To me this is more impressive & attainable than these 200 or 300K trailer queens that rarely see the streets, one of your better videos man!
He’s since upgraded suspension but it’s still not a massive dollar build and he definitely drives it with 0 fear!
Clean and are you going to do a video of the Galaxy convertible in the back ground
That’s a Fury and doubtful as it needs a lot of attention.
Period correct modifications are not essential. Essential is that all modifications are made tastefully and in this case it seems they are. Nino is definitely a man with good taste.
My only pet peeve is the seats without headrests to prevent whiplash.
I’m with you on seats and I wouldn’t be surprised if Nino does something there and with the rear suspension.
How fast is a 600 horsepower big block Camaro? Doing a similar build but a ways out before on the road.
Love the vw van
Louis Vuitton
@@AutotopiaLA you drive the Louis Vuitton vw ?
like bumble bee camaro
Same with me..I have a brand new 454 efi ,new upper and lower arms ,speed tech chicane relocation double adjustable coilovers..new fuel cell ,new seats, but I still have the rear leaf springs..I just need more money to change that lmao
68 CHEVY CAMARO !!! This car is as valuable as all the car's on your show if not more , it's a CAMARO 🤔
7500 from a Big Block?! Damn!
That’s what I thought when they told me the redline. Pretty crazy!
CAMARO 👍👀😁
Hell yesssss!!
that front side stipes gota go it dont look right & why no back stripes too?
What size are the wheels? 18"?
The ORIGINAL BUBBLE BEE 🐝
Is it tubbed ?
You want to undress a few things ? Our Caprice is in a budget crunch at the moment - plans don't always come together ... but life goes on >
One thing I took from this build is to look at some of the Euro spec cars for wheels. I guess BMW is the same spacing as chevy. I wonder about Ford and Mopar? Time to search...
yeah they kind of are im looking at JNC 17 inch wheels for my zephyr it'll be different
Way better than a $300k pro touring build
I love em all personally
Bumblebee is 100% why I want a Camaro over a Mustang
What kind of rims are they?
Sorry but I can’t remember...hit up @toysnpower on IG. He’s the owner
YC68502? Homage to Yenko Camaro, '68 with a 502?
That or Yellow Camaro 68 502? Need to ask him. Good eye!
Can someone hook me up with that roll bar? Looks like a bolt in kit.
Sorry I heard him say. Commented before he got there.
Sound's like some people I would love to get to know. If ya can't DRIVE it, what's the point?
There are few vehicles that look good yellow. The 1st Gen. Camaro is very much one of them. Long before Bubble Bee. The mid '50's Chevy Trucks are another and the the early C-3's obviously. Just my humble opinion.
Great comment. They’ve gotta be driven and the owner Niño drives and has a blast with his cars
That Camaro is Sick as Shit
