Keystone released a new version of their popular Crickett single-shot 22LR line. Dubbed the Overlander, this little package features an aluminum chassis with a carbon fiber wrapped barrel and other carbon appointments to keep the weight down, as well as a sliding stock to keep everything compact for backpacking, hiking, or for a bug-out type bag.

For $400, you can get a Henry AR7 and a bunch of ammo for a semi auto survival rifle with 2 mags that fits in its own stock.
The problem there is,you get a Henry AR7.
And breaks down to more compact size

Not worth it long term, not very durable. Great compact, or something to bring hiking. But a 10/22 takedown will last 100K rounds longer

Looks like standard AR grips, so you can throw a storage grip on it.

I want a short barrel arm brace version. 10" of barrel would be plenty, especially with a suppressor. And make the receiver take a pistol optic plate system, for a low mount RMR or Acro.

These days i'd say compact-ISH, as there are several options shorter than this. Others are more useful too IMO

@@achillesiq491I've never had one be polite enough to sit pretty for a follow up shot. Anytime I've missed one they have bolted and any shot after that was a wasted one. I have found that the guys i know who worry the most about a rapid follow-up shot are the ones least likely to miss anyway.
