Citizen M at Schiphol Amsterdam Airport is a quirky and futuristic hotel located just minutes outside the terminal building, accessible by a covered walkway… it tends to rain quite often in the Netherlands! I got stuck at the airport as my evening flight got cancelled and I got rebooked on a very early next morning flight. I didn’t like to venture away from the airport too much, so decided to book myself into the Citizen M hotel for €200 / $215 a night.
The check-in was fully automated and took less than one minute! The room itself was… interesting… you will see! I love the fact that lightning, television and curtains are all managed from an in-room iPad, super handy!
