- Do you only know how to turn on a computer? Are you very bad at computers? Can you not code? These are questions that I get asked almost every day, and today I've decided that if this is an issue that's holding you back then it's time to take action. That's why Tanay (Senior Developer at Microsoft) and I created this video which will give you some tips on how non-technical people can learn to code.

Giving away one copy of Pyjama Profit to one commenter. You must be subscribed to this channel though!
Yeah! subscribed already. It was good to see you and Tanay on-screen together after a long time.
Hey varun I am following since few months and improving my schedule and myself everyday
I started reading books , just completed Atomic habits and ready to go for pyjama profit please give it to me I really excited for that.
Hmm thas cool
This was a very helpful and motivating video. I delayed learning to code because I'm from Mechanical background, that's why I thought it's not for me. But after watching this video, I'm gonna start coding man!
Looking forward to read that book as well
I'm already having a copy, you can share it to others! Even so, if I get one I'll definitely be gifting it to my cousins, cuz mine is full of highlighted comments and stars lol
That made a lot of sense. I've tried getting into coding around 5 times in the last couple of years. Never got past the frustration stage.
Let's see if the 6th time's any different. Thank you, Varun. :)
Frustration and confusion means your learning but most people quit at this stage
So how it's going
Being a humanities student, I wasn't sure if I wanted to code but then Avalon meta really helped in the beginning especially since it's free of cost n Varun's way of explaining was super cool, I knew that without coding I was missing out on something really magical . Thanks Varun & Avalon
Let us get you the giveaway.
@@kevinmitnick1301 Lol, Are being serious?
what is this avalon thing? can u please explain it like briefly
P.S. m a humanities student too 😁
@@mkb54 me too
Thanks to both of you..
For a guy with non-computer science background and almost in 30s, you both have helped immensely
Thanks for the unfair advantage 🙏🏼
So what have you learned and how is it benifiting you?
Very great session.
To the point talk . Loved it
Frustration relates not just only in coding but while learning other skills also.
Very well said that start with small steps and compounding will do it's magic on the fly
One of the best videos. Gave a new perspective on coding and took the weight off! It deserves a like.
Y'all deserve so much exposure and recognition! I get to learn so much from you Varun.
I wish I had this channel when I was in college. Would have applied and tried out so many things. Nonetheless never too late to start. Keep up the great content 👍
I love your background so calm and soothing. Content always like top notch.
That was super helpful Varun! I was one of those students who did BCA but couldn't able to learn to code(even after trying multiple times). But this video has motivated me to give it a shot one more time. Let's do it!
I follow both Varun and Tanay and this is not a collab I was expecting but man am I glad to follow you! You’re making learning not just simple but less scary and that’s where I find myself always tuning into yours, Shashank’s or Avalon Meta’s pages. Really thank you for realising that it’s community which promotes growth and not necessarily a barrage of #trending information.
Thank you so very much addressing almost every issue faced by a beginner .
Amazing session Varun and Tanay sir!! Me being from the technical background is watching this video just because I am in love with the content that u are providing. Thanks a lot sir !!
Compounding really works a lot in Coding. Have been experiencing this fact since a long time :))
That was awsome guys......thanks for your time & Knowledge...
I'll try using this technique for the simulation software I'm trynna learn.
Starting with small and keeping it open all the time initially.
Thanks for the video :)
I think I could really use a copy of Pyjama profit 😅
really enjoyed this video! keep inviting guests like him
best collab I can say
Two of my favorite persons in one frame just loved it
You are our #unfairAdvantage ⚡
I love how these guys put the complexity of situations in simple terms, I knew what was coding but that chai and 4 steps example made it even more clear
Thanks a lot both of you. And your analogies. 😍💯🔥💪
Beautifully explained by both.
Two great guys who absolutely love what they do and is guiding us for doing something we would love to do . Thanks a lot tanay and Varun .
Thank you so much Varun bhaiya, content was so relatable for me, recently I've started learning(since last 4 months) begin with scripting languages , and currently learning JavaScript Algorithm and Data Structure,
i know JS is not much hard but i was training my muscles memory to do it consistently without getting bored or as you said in video just spend a big chunk hours consistently for few months to make your brain comfortable with that specific repetitive task/activity.
*Loved the Talk 🍉😊 and keep making that type of Content
And also your last few series on a specific topics are astonishing, Every single video was so Valuable for a person who wants to become as you*
this is an eye opener for me i am an hard core gamer. But i hate programming just because i could nt remember syntax. but i m going to follow this video and going to learn the skill i hate the most. Thank you so much for the knowledge.
Set of instructions example is excellent now i am starting to like to code ..
I think this video is made for me. I was never able to judge whether I am doing it for fun or just because it is important to code. Varun, would love a video on this topic as well. Is it okay to do something becuase it is required or you really should enjoy doing it and how to know that?
I'm just getting started to learn python as of now. I'd be done with the basics soon and I can't wait to solve problems and automate things on my laptop using python.
😂just simple , very interesting looks Varun had started researching what people want and making very interesting content people want
thanks varun for sharing great content
Gem video, good to see you bot on one screen, you both have explained very well especially the point which Tanay said that the baby cannot talk until its 3years old and the other example gaming buttons which we need to remember in the first initial days and after some days we will be used to it, last but not the least you recommended to learn for your life and not for money and this applies to any field that the person want to learn, absolutely mind blowing video. THANK YOU TANAY AND VARUN
By the way I am wating for your book pyjama profits plz let me know how to get it from you (giveaway).
I love the way you come with unique content
Wow,just amazing.
I mean the video does justice to the title. But we need to appreciate the flow of conversation.Like I didn't even realise when the video finished.AND the background music too.It doesn't feel forcibly imposed.Kudos mate, premium level content here!
And very truthful perspective on the topic by Tanay sir.
And the wholesome side too😅
Fun conversation!!!!!!
Thank you so much for this video man. Just a request if u can create more video like this, in same genre
I always love the way you analyze things, and make it very easy to understand, really appreciate what you do man!!
Really frustrating when you're from mechanical, you've been doing front end and starting backend
A 18 year old computer science student from a tier 3 college. My college never made coding fun, rather they made us write the code as assignments which made us hate coding.
And here I'm now, working with Avalon as an intern and following Varun, Shashank, Sid, Tanay, Abhinav since 2 years.
Starting my coding streak today.
Let me see if I can get past that frustration zone and enjoy coding.
so how did you do?
Update??
Insightful loved the content
I literally enjoy coding but I'm pcmb student.I did give neet this year and might just become a doctor in future.
I STILL LOVE CODING!!!( ꈍᴗꈍ)
finally you have Mr Robot on your platform ..
Next Freddie Mercury
😂😂😂
I have the book. Though if the copy is signed, then heck yeah!
Varun sir and Tanay sir, what a video. Always there's a support for you all.
Needed this for a long ⌛
I'm in my early 25,and I'm in technical recruitment, we receive different JDs from our clients, earlier it did make me confused, but now I'm quite familiar with the words. I'm just curious how to do it. So just want to learn how to do it. Thanks for giving me enough courage to do that
Hey..I am also a technical recruiter...worked in the same field...can you guide me how you got into coding after that? I also want to learn but m confused from where to start.
Awesome Video!
Super video as always
Nice collab
More collab needed in different field.
Bru 🤣 I love this video because u guys mentioned the truth and way. I going to share this to my friend kekw

Nice bro thanks cleared my mind
Well in class 12th I was so much deeply interested in scientific stuff and STEM but after that I took economics Hons. Coz I fear code and got lot of negativity related to Btech 🔥 Now in 3rd year of college after watching Amazing content of varun and many other legends, this video made it really easy to get started into code journey. Am sure now that I know it's potential, will learn code now and that'll definately help in boosting my career ✨ Grateful ❤️
Learning C language was really kinda frustrating and I'm still weak in many higher concepts but still watching this video bcz your every video imparts value. Compounding idea was really nice.😊
I don't know why 99%of the people don't get it as problem and this can't be solved any soon unless people start blind coding without knowing how computer hardware works😆😆😆
Thanks for this Varun❤❤❤
Awesome video . Learning coding 🤞
This is the content we want @varun mayya.
Coding and start up establishment etc
But like what about the no code platforms that automate coding now?Still valuable?
Just a question what do you think about No Code?
What about those people who want to learn coding or switch their careers in tech in their 30's? Should they pursue it? What would be their learning curve at that age?
Please make a video on the growing popularity of Psychology
Very Helpful Video
Keep bringing more such videos
This Guy, this guy Varun Mayya, Is one of the most Underrated persons in the Indian Content - Marketing -Startup Space. Cannot f****ing wait to see Avalon grow to heights, and more importantly the value of this channel. Also, not commenting on this for any dramas, his content seriously makes me move my ass, and start working on whatever I jotted down for my company's growth. Loads of love man would love to connect with you one day, hopefully after I get fit.

I wan to become a salesforce marketing cloud professional and being a non tech person I am stuck in learning HTML, SQL, CSS. Any suggestions where I can learn this step by step
Yeah tanmay pratap is back 🔥🔥
I remember playing Dragon Ball Z Mugen Edition games like 10-12 years ago that blew my mind! Now I understand that the 'Mugen' in it was actually an engine!
Plz make a video on platform like code vs #nocode which is better for non techies
Very informative video
uh was expecting kind of a roadmap for non techies ! but its okay
The favourite duo 😍
This is something premium the setup the content the tanay pratap
Amazing example of tea related to code 😃😂

I am learning to code at 36 after spending years in Project Coordination roles that were totally non-tech.
Are you non tech?
Same here.. 35 yrs old and looking for options in IT 😅
Thank you sir
Tanay sir 👏👏👏
Thanks to both of you. I really want to learn coding. Tried couple of times but seeing c++ I thought it was gibberish. Pls tell me where to start from? Idk where to start!! I learnt SAS basic 14 years back, found it easy to learn the basic in fact I loved it now, for not being in practice i totally forgot Please guide me...
You can start with python
I am a 3D artist and I want to learn machine learning how can I start?
a copy of Pyjama Profit is what I only need right now!
Why
Follow your passion friends....
Learn to code to just know how the code really work...
Don't fall for money.
Money is most important thing but leaving your passion and going for money will just make your feel bad and regret later.
Money is in every sector.
Mechanical has no money
U hav tanay on stage and you 🔥 combo
Audio quality of Tanay is not good but content is great...👍👍
Hey Varun I am not From Coding Background and my age 22 but So many people are talking about web3 so can I learn coding or just focus to earn lamp sum Amount of Money
What's the point of Coding with a Social Science background no one is going to hire it's like learning to invest as you said it's not worth it.
Learnt so much about cooking than coding.
Can I learn coding from mobile?
