TIP - Centre finding jigs - simplest ever ideas

On many projects I was measuring distances to find the centre of the plank or beam. It was laborious process. I was looking for simple low cost idea to be able to mark a centreline and it occurred to me that some toys can be adapted to be used as workshop aid.
