I have loved PK M glass for the compactness and the price for a decade and a half now. Shot Pentax digital early largely because they were one of the few that could easily adapt legacy glass. Nice that vintage glass from all makers now get a 2nd life on nearly any mirrorless.
Yes, mirrorless cameras have opened up the gates for the resurgence of legacy glass!
One day I would like to get a Pentax DSLR to use with old lenses...
I have about 60 vintage lenses of various types but have no Canon to compare. But the Pentax-M 135mm f/3.5 seems to be a goto lens for me in birding, portraits and even night time sky shots. Great color and sharpness. What's really nice is that I got it dirt cheap about 5 years back and use it a lot. Recommend this lens to anyone starting out in photography.
It is indeed a great lens!
when keeping it real means keeping it short and sweet! thanks for the vid!
Yup, simple and straightforward ;) No need to waste anyone's time.
I just purchased the Canon 135 to adapt to my Fujifilm
Have fun with it!
I found my fathers canon 135. I waiting for an adapter to come in. Is lens good for food photography? Or is more like for portraits?
It can be used for whatever you like, I haven't tried food photography with it, but the only potential limitation I see it's the minimum focusing distance.
