    Young man, and I can say that as I am a 75 year old retired driver, you are now your own man. Well, at least you and the bank, anyway. This is the only advice this old man will offer. When things get tough, and times are lean, never give up. Keep on with an occupation you can be proud of. I drove for 38 years through the states and some of Canada. I was proud of my occupation and lifestyle. Remember, Plan your work,,work your Plan. Always have patience with others, try to be understanding, and make your family proud. Good luck, work hard, and realize how fortunate you are to live in the greatest nation on Earth. Take care, be safe. retired old ron.

    I see it's more common to have 32 - 28 B's but I run a reversed set like yours and find it easier to scale max weights. Congrats on this milestone 👏

    • @jpbaron6661
      @jpbaron6661 Před rokem +3

      I was going to say the same. Out in BC I don't think I've seen a 28-32 super B, only 32-28's.

      @JP Baron I'm in BC and our company has all 32 - 28s except for 2 of our China Top trailers which are 28 - 32, it can be annoying when we're hauling certain sized lumber out of the mills to get the weights right

    Best thing about the Lode Kings in my opinion is the hidden lumber storage in the back panel. I can usually squeeze 8 or so 8' 4x4s in there if they're not too mangled. Rig is looking sharp Matt, congrats.

    As a communication technician I noticed you CB antennas are tipped forward. It is not the best angle for best transmission and receive. Although it is popular and kind of looks good the radio waves will be absorbed in the ground from the front and from the back will radiate up to the sky. The most efficient angle is 90 degrees to the road when you are driving on the highway. About 5 degrees forward would be good. Also I am a ham operator and my specialty is designing and building antennas. My brother had a Peterbilt and he loved it.

    First off, congrats brother. Second, I believe all B Trains are 32' and 28'. Both decks are 28' but the addition 4' on the lead is the axles/5th wheel that sticks out. Some have 3 axles that slide in (Tim Hortons) but most flatbed's don't. Also, I believe the 5 axle set up makes them a super b as I've pulled 2 and 2, which is a regular B Train.

    • @callthemall
      @callthemall  Před rokem +1

      My previous set was a 28’ 28’ deck configuration which is the longest allowed in Michigan. So this one is 28’ 32’ so I can fit an extra skid of stuff on but it makes the combination slightly longer, and a true super-b!

    • @Sixinthefield
      @Sixinthefield Před rokem +1

      Correct; the length doesn't make them Super-B, it's the extra (5th) axle.

A lot of companies love to stretch out not paying bills when they are due. 30 days is a long time to wait for income and then you have them stretch it out to 45.
