Or even just a port would be awesome. I’ve become such a huge fan of the Xenoblade series and I don’t want to buy a failed console to play just one game
I found some obvious references in my game, like Spirit Crucible Elpys where the 3rd sword was sealed, Gaur Plain, Gormott, Dannagh Desert, Mechonis Hand, Maktha Forest, Riki's weapon, Leftheria, Eryth sea's teleporter, Fonsa Myma, and Alcamoth, but the other ones are hidden and they're pretty awesome!
Did anyone notice that Maktha Wildwood is Morytha and Makna Forest mashed together? Even the name (Mak)na Forest + Land of Mory(tha) = (Maktha) Wildwood Even Riki's biter being there implies direct ties to Makna Forest plus it's in the same region as the waterfalls like Maktha was I wonder how many other locations in Aionios are places from both XC1 and XC2 fused, aged, and possibly battle scarred over thousands of years...
If Xenoblade X areas really are in 3 that'd be wild. Tho X already has some things from 1 such as mechonis parts in Oblivia so I'm thinking if 2 didnt exist and X' story was completed they'd make X becoming what 1 rn is.
I just realized Dunban is pretty similar to the Uzuki brother in Xenosaga, and that guy shares the same surname as Uzuki( and outfit mostly) to the doctor Uzuki in Xenogears.
It's Makna falls... there's no locations from X, it's literally just made up of 1 and 2, idk why even after all this time people are still trying to say Mira got fused in. On that note, arts from previous games always get brought back. Eunie's ouroboros form references telethia, and probably just sex appeal, since all the ouroboros forms seem to take from the character's ancestral line and appearance/personality. There really is ALOT to unpack, you got areas that used to be dead are now full of life, areas that used to be full of life are now ravaged by war, etc. I love this game. I hope some day monolith soft just, shows us every individual reference they put in, because if anyone knows, it's them of course.
It can be simply artistic references. Or a future game reveals that the unified state of Origin continued to exist and the data of Aionios was recreated as it's own planet somewhere/-when else that eventually became Mira. You never really now what Monolith is cooking.
@@somebodyelseathome czcams.com/video/H-93fHRvlKU/video.html Here ya go then. It's a remix of Wir Fliegen used in some emotional scenes. Wir Fliegen itself is a vocal track that marks when you activate Overdrive, similar to the chain attack theme in 3
the Great Cotte Falls being Noctilum is a little bit of a stretch since it's definitely supposed to be Makna Falls and Makna Forest, but the rest of the X references are spot on. I'm tired of people calling Xenoblade a trilogy. There was a Xenoblade game that came out after the original, before 2 came and set the franchise back by several paces
"References", "Easter Eggs", call them what you like, in the end these are recycled assets, as much as the assets in New Vegas were a "reference" to fallout 3. It keeps the art style consistent and cuts down on costs developing new ones, more of a business decision than an artistic one. Even so, they made it work beautifully, the team working on this series made some real magic with these games. Just hoping the upcoming story DLC isn't a huge disappointment.
Beleive me these are most definitely for artistic porpoises. The whole hook of Xenoblade 3 is that it's a fusion between 1 and 2, so of course it would have places and landmarks from them. Monolithsoft doesn't need to reuse any models and could create a completely new world if they wanted to, which they prolly will do when they make a new Xeno world
I actually wanted to cry when I saw what is probably Riki’s grave
When I defeated that dragon and saw it I had to pause for a minute
Its a possibility cause there's only 1 hero biter in the whole game, and why else would it be there?
Now that the artbook is out, we know that the weapon might BE riki
Considering how big Xenoblade Chronicles 3 is, one could only hope for a switch remaster of Xenoblade Chronicles X in the near future.

Something i love about XC 3 is that since it's just a mashup of xenoblade 1 and 2 it's FULL of references
Like everywhere

glad i wasnt the only one that noticed Maktha being similar to Noctilum with its water falls
You chose the perfect music for this
So many hidden gems in these games
When I saw that the Finger Tip from Fallen Arm is STILL in there.... a literally lost my shit.
I think most of the X ones are a bit of a stretch and I'd probably call them inspirations at most
pretty cool to see the references to X
5:43 btw that I think Eunie's Ouroboros is more of a reference to the new armour added to Xenoblade Definitive Edition for Seven - The Soloist Cowling
I feel like it’s the other way around, the armor must be a preemptive easter egg. They must have had the ouroboros design finalized when DE came out
@@brickwallace99 yeah, i forgot to add that in my og comment but yeah completely agree with that
Xeno 3 is the biggest love letter to the xeno series.

Really well made video!
Great video bro; keep it up!!!
Seems much more likely that great cotte falls is actually the great makna falls but with titan remains and ruins
Nice video thank you
WoW... I didn't realize that there were that much XCX references !

Ribbi flats really reminds me of Xenoblade X
Fun fact (And spoilers for post game content):
One of Melia's bodyguards; Aizel was basically reincarnated in 3.
Is this music from xenoblade X? Or a different game/franchise entirely
Xenoblade x track
czcams.com/video/H-93fHRvlKU/video.html
It’s from Xenoblade x it’s called LP
X music is the best in the series
Wait, how does XB3 have references to X if that’s not one of the worlds that merged?
It can be simply artistic references.

What blade does nia have at the palace plaza?
Perdido, a new game + exclusive blade that was Patroka’s blade in xc2 before Mythra killed him in chapter 4
what version of wier fliegen is this?
Song is called LP
Woah where in xenoblade 3 is this picture 5:46
How far have you gotten in the game?
I beat this game and I don't recall ever seeing it. did I miss it in a cutscene?
@@emerylsg it’s from chapter 6 when a certain very important character is giving you backstory info

What’s the song that plays through most of the video?

Do you actually believe that?
