  • Recipe here: www.joyofbaking.com/candy/Pean... Stephanie Jaworski of Joyofbaking.com demonstrates how to make Peanut Butter Fudge. Peanut Butter Fudge is a simple enough recipe; just a mixing together of butter, peanut butter, vanilla, and confectioners' (powdered or icing) sugar. I love how this type of fudge is so much faster and simpler to make than the old fashioned fudge which involves using a candy thermometer. You might want to include this candy in your Christmas baking as it makes a large batch and can be made ahead and stored in the refrigerator for about a week.

I made these today for my family and they absolutely LOVE them... I always watch other videos to see different ingredients used but whenever I make them the way you do they turn out great and perfect... I love how you bake, so careful, clean and precise.. Thanks for this and will always make these. My husband is taking the rest to work and I know his coworkers will love them..

I’d never tasted fudge before but decided to make this. My family and friends loved it and said it was the best fudge they’d ever tasted. The reward far outweighed the effort. Thank you.

I have been making this since early 1980's. Love how easy it is. I make my buckeyes and peanut butter balls out of it. I have also put a layer of chocolate on top of it. It is so versatile, and can be made with crunchy as well. I have even put it on top of rice Krispy treats before, my kids loved it.

I just made this recipe tonight. It is so easy! The hardest part is sifting the sugar. My husband helped me with the sifting part (it just takes a while to sift the sugar). So yummy indeed. Tommorow I am making another batch (chocolate fudge this time). This fudge is for a Christmas party... next time I will double the recipe. This was my 19 year old son's suggestion. It is so creamy. ***** Five Stars rating from Me..

I've never tried using spreading butter. Typically that type of butter contains water to make it spreadable, so I'm not sure whether that would affect the texture of the fudge. Because regular butter hardens when cold which is what you want so it hardens the fudge.

Stephanie, I love your stuff. I don't know if it's a sin or really cooking but someone shared this version with me.
Try this one: 1 - 12oz jar peanut butter,( or almond or sunflower) 1 -12oz can Fudge (or chocolate or cream cheese or vanilla) frosting, heat both in microwave for 30 sec, mix together - add some vanilla - cool -enjoy! (there's less sugar here)
