I headed out to Americus, Kansas for the 3rd consecutive year to participate in The Flint Hills Gravel Ride. This event is special! Small town vibes with a big race feel. Essentially this race has everything you would expect from one of the bigger events, in a smaller package. A special thanks to Bobby Thompson for making this magical event come to life! Also a special thanks to Darius and Amy for always being the best hosts at Basecamp Flint Hills. We had a great time!

Despite the wind, it was a heck of a good day! Well done with the video, can't wait to show this to my wife so she can really see what I pushed through to finish that ride.

The wind was relentless, but it was still a great day. I can see the base camp from my house, I would’ve came over if I knew there were brownies 😂😂

I told Rodney that I'm not sure if I'm jealous or not. They asked runners what we wanted at the end and I said chocolate milk. I didn't see the Yoohoo. I'm with Kim. It's not really chocolate milk. I gotta beer and some water though. It's all good.
