What a cute idea! I'd think about turning the vase the other way, putting a stake of some sort into it, filling it with gems, & gluing like a madwoman at the mouth of the vase to seal it up. Then you could push it into the ground--- I'm such a klutz that I'd be knocking those over left & right as I gardened, & breaking them, & being unhappy that my glam mushrooms were ruined. But that's me, & my technique might not work.
That's a great idea! I bet you could probably just even glue a stake to the bottom like the same ones that you can find at Dollar tree for solar lights.

@@honeybriarfarmstead I hope you were able to find them! They are plates, bowls, different decorative pretty dishes that get put various upcycled “stems” and make a flower. I can see the appeal, but not my vibe. (Try googling “upcycled glass yard flowers” for anyone is curious!)
Using a a Popstical stick to applie glue was a good Idea and It looks amazing! 😊
