I bought my press 4+ years ago and have been acquiring all the accurate guidance I can, as well as collecting some of your handy setup tools, for the day I get around to put everything together…one step at a time. Good thing I didn’t need it sooner! Anyway, I sure do appreciate all your time and knowledge…and the tools you make.
Thanks you so much for this awesome tutorial video. I purchased a Hornady lock-n-load AP press and ordered your tools already. Now it's time to set it up.
The one thing I do different is I leave the fiberglass rod in the pick up tube when I pull the pin to dump the primers in the primer tube then I lift the pickup tube straight up off of the rod and it is already in place. It adds weight which helps the primers slide in better. If you do have a stuck primer in the pickup tube then just tap it with the rod and it will fall. This also lets you know all the primers fell in the primer tube.

Thank you 🙏 I appreciate the video very much. You went through everything I needed! I’ve been using it but it’s been awhile since last and I wanted to make sure I was doing everything right. Just finished running a bunch of 9mm Berrys 124 grain hp with both HP38 and Titegroup. Which do you prefer? I like the titegroup but have not used the HP38 yet. My primer feeding tube and explosion tube got bent in transit because someone forgot to remove the tiny hex head and take it off so I’m replacing it now! Thanks again!
