There is no doubt in my mind that Aurora is head and shoulders above anyone her songwriting ability is outstanding and let’s be honest if this was a Lennon & McCartney song we would be shouting it from the rooftops,this girl is special, artists like her that can move emotions in people,emotions that you have never felt is just pure poetry for the soul for me Aurora is the essence of what music should be all about and what’s more astounding to me is the fact that she has this innocence and shyness about her as if she really doesn’t know how good she is,she has never craved to become mainstream she always stays true to herself and her beliefs about what music should be and we are blessed to have her music in our lives for it truly is as her mother said a medicine to the world,Aurora you are a wonderful humble human soul and your Warriors love you ❤️🍎🎭
Not many artists are allowed to perform in the cathedral , that's how big Aurora is in Norway , a national treasure!!
What a stunning performance, she is a beautiful young lady with an amazing talent, I've only known of Aurora for a reasonably short time but she never fails to grab hold you and make you listen when she performs.
I've seen this concert so many times. Every song is fabulous . She's so mesmerizing to watch.
I agree with justjulie44 that the entire Nidarosdomen concert is fabulous. Especially "Lucky", "Through The Eyes Of A Child" and this "It Happened Quiet" are the ones to watch.

The enchanting innocence of Aurora's presence on camera is astonishing. It puts me in mind of a young Audrey Hepburn in "Roman Holiday".
I loved this concert, especially in this cathedral because it really makes her voice stand out more and echo which is very pleasing to hear!
There’s so much of her magical music for you to react to. I hope you continue to enjoy your Aurora journey. This song is about an abusive attack of some kind that is remembered as a Quiet happening. At the end the victim seeks revenge from the shadows (from the grave). It’s very deep.

Hello, don't know if you guys will get to see this, first of all great reaction. As a metal/hard rock fan Aurora is a guilty pleasure of mine. It's nice to see other people discover her and analyze her music. That said, I hope you guys can give a documentary titled "Once Aurora" a view, it's available for rent or purchase from the vimeo video site. It will give you guys a whole new appreciation and insight to Aurora's struggles when she was just beginning, admittedly some parts may be hard to watch but if you guys see this comment, do give Once Aurora a view, even if you don't do a reaction video to it.
Enjoyable to see you returning to Aurora every once in a while :)

Great reaction. So glad you played the opening twice. As you say, the orchestra is amazing, and in fact, the whole song is out of this world, considering the vocals, the storytelling, the musical arrangement, the sound the picture quality, the venue, just everything. Crazy, crazy good, an epic performance of pure art, imo. Little Boy in the Grass and Winter Bird are two more songs from this concert well wort listening to.

I saw numerous Aurora reactions on this channel, but there are more great songs and I hope there will be more Aurora reaction in future too :).

In short. The song is about domestic violence. This goes so far that the man kills his wife. Over this, he breaks inside. From then on, he is haunted by his wife as a ghost or by his guilty conscience. That is a matter of interpretation.
The long interpretation would be even more disturbing and can also include rape (you fell apart, like a stone can be broken into sand).
The connection with murder song is only the overarching theme of the album. In this way, all the songs are somehow connected to each other. But the story here has nothing directly to do with murder song.
That's fanfiction. Aurora usually doesn't explain her songs and leaves that to the listener. What she said about it is limited to the overarching theme of the whole album. The rest are all interpretations. Only on the murder song, runaway and cure for me she has expressed herself in more detail.
Hello Greg! Hope you are alright! Wonderful Aurora reaction...as usual! This song is much drama (In a good way) and here voice is so strong. One of her best storytelling lyrics. It´s would be great in a old fashioned ghost story movie. I love the Quiet passage. See you soon brother!!

It’s not about her! It’s domestic abuse. He kills her she comes back to haunt him. The connection, I believe, is closer to Churchyard than Murder Song.
I heard that too, Murder Song is about a mercy killing and It Happened Quiet is about DV and is a follow up to Churchyard (Churchyard is another name for graveyard in which he says she belongs in a churchyard or she should drop dead).
Yeah, churches make for some great performances. Have you heard The Trinity Sessions by the Cowboy Junkies ( Featuring their cover of Sweet Jane). Alice Russel covers Gnarls Barkley's Crazy in a church. When the line " Echo in so much space" is sung, they show how big the church is. I wonder whether to he band Chvrches has done that....I may request one of their songs....
