The thing is, this show is FLAWED. Some of the judges have no space left sure but there are some REALLY TALENTED PEOPLE who auditioned later and deserve a spot
yes, but some times the people auditioning just donât fit well with the judges either it be their style of voice or the music they sing, and thatâs why they donât turn. the judges need to have ppl on their team that they can truly work with and bring the best out of

Sometimes it happens when they don they are trying to save their last spot. I imagined it could get hard waiting for the next one being possibly even better. Im not to sure exactly why they cant all just turn cause the singer chooses at the end...idk
I won't lie, the judges really pissed me off. They keep saying "wow" and "oh my God " but won't hit the button. Like what gives?

It seems that, twice, contestants were not selected, not because of their quality of singing but because the judge, Boy George, in both cases, was the last one to have any space and he refused to turn. Obviously, if the constestants had performed earlier in the auditions, they would probably have been selected.
That's the whole point of the voice the weaker singers are put firsy

What annoys me is that judges never give a valid excuse for not turning.
David right when the one was singing she didn't turn her chair but yet she clapped along to the side were the constant could see.
They don't have to. They only have 5 spots to fill. Someone may be good or even very good, but if it is not the type of voice the judges are looking for, why turn. Just because you like someone or the crowd likes someone doesn't mean they are outstandingly good.
There are only two excuses or reasons for me why they don't turn. They think they are not right for that person and try to get the correct judge to turn instead, or all their places are filled, and they can't. The rest is just them joking around.
Well the U.S. version they actually do give critiques. Sometimes it's because they dont do enough to stand out. Other times they are flat/pitchy and not ready.

The girl who sang "My Immortal" has a beautiful voice and did it great, but sincerely she sounded a lot like the original artist, I guess that's why the judges didn't turn.
As a hardcore evanescence fan... as you said too much like the original. And lots of sharp/flat. Dont sing Amy Lee's song in a contest đ€Łđ
I've always felt bad for those in auditions towards the end. Much less chance getting a turn when teams are already full.

Being Italian I cried hearing the girl singing Nessun Dorma by Puccini. I love pop music but, my God, that opera is breathtaking, one of the most emotional music ever made, and she was amazing. Iâll always wonder why no one pressed for her...
Singing "pure" opera is always risky on The voice... Opera mixed with other genres is more videly accepted

You should have include Julien Blank from The Voice of Germany. Itâs such a cool story. He was there 2016 and nobody turned. But Yvonne regret it so much so she wrote him a mail. She made a mistake and she hopes heâll try it again in the next year.

The thing is, it's super risky to sing opera on blind auditions. If you wanna show off your opera skills go ahead, but if you wanna get picked you should switch to another genre halfway through the song. The judges need to hear what else your voice is capable of. They're gonna have to pick other songs for you to sing and make you battle against other contestants.
