How much does a house cost in Victoria BC? Home Prices Part 2 | Westshore: Langford, Colwood, Sooke
The Victoria BC Real Estate Market is continuing to evolve in 2022. Low rates and low inventory fuelled a tremendous amount of pressure on prices in Victoria BC Housing that accelerated dramatically since the beginning of the covid-19 pandemic. Mortgage rates have reversed course quickly since March and as a BC Realtor I can see that sentiment has shifted as well.
Nevertheless, I wanted to bring you up to speed at where prices have come to in in 2022 in municipalities like: Sooke, Colwood, Metchosin, Highlands, Langford and their respective neighbourhoods (Bear Mountain, East Sooke, Royal Bay, Westhills, etc). Even if house prices in Victoria BC see some declines in 2022 from here, Vancouver Island Real Estate is generally more insulated than other parts of Canada in bear markets. Attractive properties priced appropriately like those offered for sale through the markets mentioned today: Langford Real Estate, Colwood Real Estate, Sooke Real Estate, and Bear Mountain Real Estate will remain attractive to those considering a move to our beautiful city from other parts of the world.
