I've tried many aftermarket parts. The best combo is the AC smooth action kit, AC hammer, with GG improved hybrid trigger and trigger bar. I also have the GG hammer which I like the look of better but AC got the geometry of the hammer down better. The best overall improvement is that grayguns improved hybrid trigger. Also the AC gas pedal much better then the gogun gas pedal. More compatible with my holsters too.

Great video my Question for you is between the p226 pro cut and the p226 legion which would be the better value?
Do you feel a different in how high you grip the pistol when you have the high rise beaver tail compared to when you don't?

Out of the box the P229 for concealed carry. Out of the box the P226 home defense/duty, both good for range use. I'm too old to compete and too poor to customize.. 😂
I get to the range at least 2 times a month occasionally I'll make it 3 times. Good to know there are people who do customize, as sometimes the tech makes it to production pistols! Interesting video thanks!
What hoster you use for that p226 with light and optic there? I have a p226 mk25, Denfender Ccw from Vortex and not yet have light. Any recommendations? For light that have laser would be better. Thank you
Any concerns with the lightening cuts collecting dirt? I have both 2005/2006 era 226/229, so Pro slides are on the menu for red dot transitions.
I have the pro cut on my sig. I edc it and dust does collect in the lightening cuts but it's not ever given me an issue. Probably smart to clean of you barrel and inner slide more often.
What about this is a 320 at all? Am I missing something? Can you redo this in a video where we can see the details and there isn't gunfire in the background.

Well.. i must correct you.. I carry as my EDC a P229 SAO and its amazing! The trigger and reset is phenomenal! Like a 1911 but maube better. Just letting you know about the SAO P229. Truly almost a perfect EDC. PEW PEW PEW 🔫🔫🔫
Has the safety ever flicked itself down while carrying it? Is it as strongly held in place as a 1911 safety? I'm thinking about buying a p229 sao myself
@@rudrashakti108 I have the P220 Legion SAO and the safety feels like it has a fairly strong detent in it. It takes a conscious effort, but is smooth
Just get an optic ready sig 229 legion and save a lot of money
OK I guess for an anemic 9 mm rather than the real serious 357 Sig. It is a tragedy and shame Sig quit making this version in the 357 caliber. I think whoever made that decision at Sig Sauer should resign or be fired.

mk25 and m1a11 are better versions since they have no beavertail. but the m1a11 stock trigger must be replaced with a mk25 trigger. that stock 'short reach trigger' on the m1a11 is just weird
