If only there was some way to use a propulsion system to move the boat the way you want it to.
There is these people have no clue how to dock a boat,it’s pathetic, that’s why I watch
Even better if it were steerable…
Some larger boats may have side thrusters that would make it easier. Forget what they proper name is. But maybe not the size that could be launched and landed like this.
@edwardranno7119 pretty sure the original comment was kidding.
@korndawggy1801 if you were referring to me, yes I was.
Boy u r not lying about that assistant with the tan skirt 😊
Miami boat crack
The big'uns are out today!
Your videos make me so glad I ponied up the extra cash to buy a house on a canal. No way I could ever be a trailer boater again.
It's amazing they got them big ol boats and got a little truck pull them out. Some of them people needed like a 2500 an HD diesel to pull them things out
Or just 4wd
Just FYI, if you keep a zip lock bag of sand in your vehicle. You can put it down in front of the back tires and pull the boat out.
Just think about it, those people drive cars. Maybe just as bad as they boat.
Now that's scary !
The problem is they drive the boat like it is a car
Another great video
How come no one ever has lines ready
Why is it that these people don’t let the motors do the work when docking? Tie the bow turn the motor (s) toward the dock and put it in reverse to straighten up along the dock. Then tie to the stern.
Crazy talk.
I guess making the investment to purchase real dock lines is out of the question for some of these folks.
Agreed. There's just no money left after spending all that money on a boat, trailer, and truck.
Watching some of these boaters try to edge up to the dock is like watching a 5 year old learning to drive in the middle of a 12 lane freeway.
Are fenders more expensive than boats in Miami or why they are always missing in these videos?
wife looks like a keeper
Does it cost to launch at these ramps?
Of course it does. It's Miami.
Squeaky tires
Poor mercury engine
The bundles of rope and lasso techniques make me cringe.
launching and landing w0t
It is sooooo incredibly easy to dock a boat with twin engines……so sad
💯percent easy!
And way more fun
This guy doesn't know how a cleat works, I doubt he'll get twins
Florida people has been living caves that's why Florida people never heard about 4WD trucks..
Do Americans nit require a licence with at least basic training on a boat? Docking is so easy. Cone in bow first on an angle, loop the bow rope over thise pylons. Motors over the other way so thay point at the dock and slow reverse, the person on the bow feeds out the rope until the boat is parallel to the dock. Tie off the rear and done.
So many of these tie off the rear of the boat then wonder why they cant steer the bow in.
We do where I live in the US, following a fatal accident where a young (12, maybe?) girl was killed in a boating accident. It was phased in by date of birth, and by this year, everyone has to have it, to include operating PWC's. It was an 8 hour course that covered the basics, at least.
@@petehaack5228 any of the 8 hours on the water? Precious little evidence when I watch any of these videos of any knowledge on how to steer a boat
@simonbryan53 Sadly, no. While it is all classroom only, they do teach a sort of catch-all of everything from safety to basics of navigation, rules, anchoring, etc. You're on your own after that, although local marinas do also provide instruction at a cost. That's not saying a lot, because people also have driver's licenses and had to.pass a road test, but we all know how they drive......
Sometimes watching these videos I don't know whether to laugh or cry. I know of course wee are not seeing all the competent boaties coming in
My god I have no idea how people are so bad at this. If they can put the bow into the dock, when not just rope the bow off, and pull the stern in? Like why is it so difficult to stop a boat alongside a dock?
Things get out of line?????? Pure Click Bait
I don't boat but what is the percentage of idiot boaters of total boaters?
Not everyone should own a boat
Perfect example with the first boat, why you should use one continuous line tied bow to stern. Bloke jumps onto dock with one long line, now, no way to control stern, terrible effort of getting line to skipper, not sure what he is doing with the line.
One line, crewman jumps onto dock, does a few wraps around a post near the bow, then pulls in the stern, all done with one person.
I just don't get this one line system, can someone let me why they do this way here.
