Wow, the musicians in Cuba are so incredible.
Yes they are! One of the many reasons we like Cuba! 🇨🇺😀
Sweet couple ❤
Thank you for sharing your sweet memories from my favourite Varadero resort I visited many times. My best wishes to both of you. Please stay connected for more adventures. ❤
Really enjoyed the video, especially the kindness and joy that you both exude. Thanks for taking us along with you, I made sure to hit the subscribe button.
Glad you enjoyed it! Thank you for the kind words!

Have fun!
LAST MINUTE VACATION to the ALL INCLUSIVE Royalton Hicacos in Varadero, CUBA! 🇨🇺
Déjà visité cet hôtel et je l'ai bien aimé, beaucoup de végétation.
Great video
Good 👍
That seamaster 😊
Yes he was very nice and informative! 😀
Enjoyed the video. So the boat and kayak was free for the guests? 😊
Yes all water activities were free 😀
Great video, thanks for sharing your experience. I'll be going to Royalton in November, and I have a few questions, if you don't mind. 1) How is the food? 2) Did you encounter many biting insects--mosquitos, sand fleas, etc.? 3) How was the tipping situation--did you tip in US or CDN dollars, and how often?
Thanks for the questions. 1) Food: for Cuban standards pretty good. Huge breakfast buffet. Beach Bar Grill was under renovation. Great lunch buffet = main restaurant. A la carte dinner portions a bit small and without air conditioning 2) not many insects but bring bug spray. 3) we tipped in USD. Cubans are very appreciative no matter the amount. Don’t forget to watch the nightly shows.
@@thetravelingtoosmtl Another question: Did you have to get a Tourist Card/Visa to enter Cuba? Thanks in advance.
Yes we completed and provided the D'VIAJEROS form to Cuban immigration officers.
Great video guys! We've never been to Cuba, but was looking to book this resort. Not sure if you've been to Mexico, but does it compare? Food, rooms etc?
Glad you liked the video. We have been to Mexico and many of the Caribbean islands. Cuba, in particular Varadero, has the best beaches hands down. No waves, no seaweed. If you are not a beach person you maybe disappointed with the food and level of luxury compared to Mexico. There is always something to eat but it can be repetitive. Please keep in mind that Cuba has very limited imports. I would definitely give it a try if you have never been there.
@@thetravelingtoosmtl thank you!
Hi, can you tell me what was whether like? Is it to humid ....
When we went last year, it was exceptionally humid. However, we were never too far from the beach or a cool beverage.😀
Did you guys upgrade to Diamond club?
No we did not.
Love that Boston t-shirt❤
Flavia is brazilian? Very common name around here
Flavia is 🇮🇹😀
Are you American ? If so how did you book your hotel?
No we are not American. We booked the hotel with the airline.
Its only people from the USA that have a hassle to go to Cuba. I think all other American Countries can go really easy. example I am Canadian and have been to Cuba over 15 times and its as easy as booking and going.
Interesting video. What strikes me about the resort is how sterile and boring it seems. The culture a appears contrived and unnatural. I don’t think enjoying all that arranged luxury and gourmet food would give me a lot of pleasure knowing that it is off limits to the average Cuban.
Thank you for the comment. Actually the resort is open to all Cubans. We met a couple who enjoyed the weekend there.
All the islands are 3rd world or border line, i have been to most, none have good food, but cuba makes up for it with the beaches
Definitely not five star, food is disgusting very smelly around hotel, never came back..
Have you been at a better hotel in Varadero?
Sorry to hear that. Our experience was great. Third trip to Cuba and this was our favourite. It’s all about the beach.
Those types of people are who support the dictatorship, the money spent by those is used to buy patrol cars rather than ambulances, artifacts of repression rather than medication. It is simply be part of the crime against the Cuban people. 1054 politics prissioners languish in subhuman conditions just for peaceably ask be freedom.
