This adults-only resort is situated on a beautiful beachfront, surrounded by impeccable white sand and crystal-clear turquoise waters. Royalton Hicacos Resort & Spa offers a unique blend of conveniences and historic Cuban charm with its stylish and sophisticated design. The resort has tastefully fitted rooms and suites, each with great facilities and a separate balcony or patio from where visitors may enjoy the beautiful views. Royalton Hicacos Resort & Spa guests can choose from a variety of dining alternatives, including many à la carte restaurants featuring international and Cuban cuisine. The resort also has several bars and lounges, providing visitors with a variety of refreshing beverages and cocktails throughout their stay. The resort also offers a world-class spa with a choice of treatments and therapies for those looking for relaxation and renewal. Guests can also take advantage of the resort's several pools, fitness centre, and water sports activities. FRIENDLY ADVICE: CUBA HAS MANY SHORTAGES AT THE MOMENT. IF YOU FEEL THAT YOU CAN’T LIVE WITHOUT SOME IMPORTED GOODS AND FOOD OPTIONS, THINK TWICE BEFORE TRAVELLING.
Ultimately, we had a great time at the Royalton Hicacos Resort & Spa in Diamond Club, which is a well-maintained property with lovely surroundings. The staff's friendliness and assistance made our stay even more enjoyable. The food in the buffets and restaurants was good and plentiful, although somewhat repetitious given the reality of Cuba today. Try the Caribe restaurant; the ambience is fantastic. The beach was beautiful, with turquoise water, one of the greatest in Cuba. The beverages in the bars were excellent and were typically served with a kind smile. The entertainment staff was fantastic, and there was plenty to do at the pool and beach all day. We believe that this resort is one of the greatest adults-only resorts in Varadero, given that we also stayed at a few other resorts in the area.

Overall, it's a nice resort with a white sandy beach. The staff is kind and appears to be happy. The surroundings are lovely and well-kept. For Cuban shortages, the food is excellent. Perfect beach vacation for us. Great video tour.

We stayed here a few years ago, just before COVID-19, and had an excellent stay. Clean, well-organized resort with lovely surroundings and a fantastic beach. Staff will go out of their way to keep you happy and relaxed, just like a good vacation should. Very nice video and Thank you for sharing.

Great resort, perfect for couples and group vacations. We stayed here with a group of 8 last summer and had an amazing time. Food was good but not too many options to chose from, but was ok because it is Cuba and we knew were we are coming.

By far the best adults only resort in Varadero. I have been to Royalton Hicacos a few times and have always enjoyed it. Good people and awesome beach!

I so want to know how the Cayo Santa Maria Royalton compares. We are regulars to Varadero Royalton and even got married here in 2017. But we are thinking of trying Cayo Santa Maria this time. Nostalgia calls to Varadero, novelty calls to Cayo Santa Maria. Nice to have choices 😊
We also stayed at the Royalton Cayo Santa Maria prior to Covid and loved it. The resort was smaller but newer, and the beach was slightly nicer with fewer people. It all comes down to personal preferences and habits. If you don't enjoy long drives, keep in mind that Royalton Cayo Santa Maria is around 1:40 minutes from the airport.

It is adults only 18+. Everyone can enjoy their vacation the way they want with no restrictions but being respectful to others. 🙂

It is, but you can always try a newer resort in Varadero; there are plenty of them there.

Cuba is not about food, unfortunately, too many shortages in the country. The beaches are one of the best in the Caribbean.
Sure you not going to find a McDonald. Try cuban way preparing the food.
