Hey what tour did you get? The time I went it was through sunwing and they went to different places and we were only allowed to walk the market for 1h. I was sooooo bored in all the museums and things the tour did. I just want to see the city and you got to see it way more. I feel cheated after seeing this. Please let me know I'm going to varadero soon and I would only do Havana if it was a tour like yours!
Hi, there was a tour desk in the lobby area and they had different tour and I picked the havana one. So if you are going to a resort there must be a tour desk in the lobby area. They are usually there only until 4pm. Another thing you can do is ask the front desk agent that you want to do the Havana tour with the group, they'll be able to find your such tour. I hope this helps.
You passed el world famous landmark monument and I don't think you knew it, "La bodeguita del medio".

The real Cuba is simple. Desperate times call for desperate measures. Every single one of those people passed on the street have you targeted. Zero-ed in by them. Like pigeons. Waiting to see what you might drop. What you might give. And when you do? They flock to ya, didn’t they….
So folks. If you want real Cuba. Don’t friggn walk around in new designer clothes. Don’t flaunt your HD Camera , and don’t BUY shit. GIVE shit. Do a dollar store shop, and fill a basket with ANYTHING! And EVERYTHING.
Walk the streets giving that shit away, and THEN see the real Cuba.
See how Appreciative they are.
See how welcoming they are.
Give a girl a stick of lipstick, and she’ll cook ya dinner . Maybe even breakfast!
Their minds have been developed to share. To help your ‘brothers and sisters’. You know,,,, Communism!. And when a ‘rich’ tourist (Anybody outside the island) walks passed, without an offering of anything but a polite ‘No Thank you’ to their request or offering,,, it sorta makes them hate us ……..

Pro tip ! For the resort goers,,, take a few sandwiches from the buffet, and distribute them off the resort. Every now and then, bring a bartender a drink! Seriously,,, like a bought bottle of Crystal or Corona off resort. In fact giving anyone beer period is a great offering! Beers are a buck a piece no matter who ya are,,, and that’s expensive to a Cuban. Buy a case, and let the party begin ….
Basically , if ya ain’t going there to GIVE ,,, go somewhere else, cause if ya read the fine print, “Supporting The Cuban People” Is the ONLY reason your allowed to go there ……
