  • Watch Cooper Salinas perform a quality sales development cold call for a Concept client.
We found a way how to simplify down a fairly technical conversation to a sales development discussion. As an outsourced Sales Development partner, Concept works with our clients to take some of the more complex solutions and services - like identifying a sales development strategy, account identification strategy, or call messaging that includes value propositions - to effectively navigate a discussion. We open the door, so you close the sale.

Nice job! I liked the way you maintained calm, conversational dialog with the prospect. You did a nice job of given him a clear, concise reason for your call. Two things that have really helped me in my sales career that could be beneficial to you as well are these. One, being part of an organization like Toastmasters. It will really help to eliminate filler words and transitions (umm, uhh, etc). Second, you necrosis the sales rep was open all of Monday. While that may be true, prospects love to buy from people that are good at their job. Usually those types of people are busy. I would always suggest a time and work from there (ie. The sales rep has an opening at

'Umm' is relatable to the prospect. This is not a toastmasters class. The saleman did good. Leave him alone.

As a sales person I typically give them the time, one call I even gave feedback as research he conducted was way way off, steered him on his way and hopefully was a better BDR for it.

  • @BenioffEyez

Awesome close. But what are we closing for? I didn't catch why the person would book the call

quite a bit of ad-libbing and mumbling. I like the calm tone of voice though. It does help avoiding coming off as a typical salesperson. A tad more enthusiasm/smiling would be imho

I like the approach but can't stand hand over to a sales rep. 360 is golden IMO! Clients don't tend to like being passed from pillar to post.
