Thanks for hanging out with me today. I appreciate you guys.
Anytime brother!
I got my own detail business but want to begin my own junk removal business also you guys give SOO much information thank you very much you guys have such good energy 👍🏼
Thanks to the Cab over design of the truck it makes it so much easier to turn. In the military all of the LMTVs (Light Military Tactical Vehicle) are designed like this. Definitely getting so many ideas from you guys and pushing the wife to see the potential in the junk removal business.
The videos have helped change women’s minds. Seeing another couple team helps
Bob at Monarch told me 70k plus 🤦🏿♂️ but it’s worth it💪🏿

I have a 10 foot Box truck I bought used at Uhaul but someday I will buy one of those dump trucks . I like the storage and the lift gate is essential, since I work alone most of the time it would really help to have the lift gate setup . And your logo is awesome!
thank you, we started with just a pickup truck, the lift gate is a game changer
Beautiful truck!!
Thank you
I'd love to get one of those, but gonna start with a dump trailer first when I can afford one lol
Awesome, we started with just a truck.
Yo what’s good love the content really tryna get where your at thanks for the info

new viewer..Look into getting your tires loaded with Slime or some other tire protection. There's some great flat tire prevention products that work well. Not 100% effective but they will almost always stop nail leaks. Your tire guy might not like it but you will keep rolling until you have time to deal with the tire on your own schedule. Great channel!
Thanks for the tip.

I just did my first removal, greatly inspired by you and The JoJo. Thank you so much for all the info you both are so willing to share. I can only imagine that neither of you can truly grasp the impact you both are having on those like me. I love your stories, your connection and the sayings. I’m now chasing my Dump Button Gut. I have the GMC W4500 dump truck same thing as the Isuzu. Man I thought my insurance was high I have 3 trucks on my commercial insurance policy and they average $1500 each per year.
So will I be able to get my new truck Insurance in cali if I purchase one and why is it a pain in the A@@ to insure?
@@superbjunkremoval6528 if you have not had a commercial auto policy in the past it's a lot harder and more expensive. The commercial auto insurance is based a lot on your past experience and your exposure level. Your first 3-5 years will probably be the most expensive and only a few insurance companies will do new dump truck policies so they are very expensive now. I have had a commercial auto policy since 1997 so that has really helped me out a lot with my exposure and history needed . One thing to do is go through an insurance broker because they can shop multiple insurance companies and find you the best rates.
I’m looking for this exact model out here in Georgia with no luck lol
Hopefully you’ll find one soon
I'm looking to start so I'll probaly start with a dump trailer here in Texas
Awesome. Good luck
Love it!! You guys keep growing and growing!!
Could you give JF Hauling Junk Removal a Shout out??
Would be awesome!!
Always watching you fir updated videos!!!! Nice truck
Will do brother!
Hi do you think this is a good truck for landscaping hauling mulch, stone or dirt I would like to know your thoughts I can’t find any videos with this setup in landscaping business thanks
Baller logo on hood should be backwards so when the car in front of you looks in rear view mirror they can read it. Just saying. And thanks for the great content
👍
Do you have to get the DOT number before the truck leaves the lot or can you do it after you park it at your house? Also who did you find for insurance in cali?
👋 Matt and jojo I finally got my on truck 1989 Ford f350 7.3 IDI diesel which I think it has a 10-foot flatbed. But it does have its issues slowly working towards getting around those and getting it on the road. I will soon be picking up trash 2 thumbs up 👍👍. But before that a lot of work needed on the truck.
That’s awesome, good to hear, keep us posted on the growth of your business
@@SonomaStrong I just reread my own post and I hate it when auto correction says something that I did not say 😒. But thank you for the response 👍 and what I mean by is ( got my on truck).
Thankyou Sonoma Strong hauling. Currently my rig is a 2019 ranger xlt extended cab with a 6 1/2 ft bed. Behind it is a 5x10x5 dump trailer single axle. I started feb 2019 and im hoping next year i can upgrade to a chevy/isuzu dump truck lcf like yall
Much love from sierra nevada strong hauling.
That’s awesome, hope that works out for you. You’ll love it

Hi Matthew and Jojo. Where did you find your dump trailer? I’m going to get started in this business. You’ve motivated me to get started.
one stop trailers, good luck
Hey guys, congrats on all you both have been doing and accomplishing, awesome, and thanks a lot for all the experience/content shared in this channel!!! I'm watching your videos to get as much data as possible to decide about starting my junk removal. One question about this video is how did you get this truck, got it from the Isuzu dealership, and then put it on a shop specialized to add all the rest or what? I'm struggling to decide what to do regarding transport, I don't have a pickup truck or van, so I need to get something anyway, not sure about cost efficiency, used pickup truck and dump trailer vs. used dump truck or new one. Another point is, a dump truck or a truck with hook lift and a dumpster? Thanks in advance and have a blessed weekend!!!
We always suggest starting with what you can afford. We started with just a pickup truck then as we got busier we put money into a trailer
Hi Matt and JO-JO ! I am a subscriber to your Channel . My hat off to you two and especially you Matt knowing your background, you emerged like a star , you have a #1 wife next to you Matt , one in a million ! You two are an inspiration to all of us , keep up the good work! I’m thinking of starting a business like yours here in Missouri and purchasing a truck like yours except with Roll- Off capability’s. So I can drop dump boxes off and pick them up when they’re full . BIG Question is what will the truck insurance run ? I have AAA and excellent driving record and retired at 67 . I drove truck most of my life (35years ) I want to help my step-grandkids (22 and 26 ) both girls and hard workers by putting them to work . The youngest a welder building Storm shelters but laid off because of this Covid 19 crap . I was also thinking of starting with a dump trailer first , what do you all think ? We have enough tornadoes coming through to keep everyone busy here cleaning up after !
Hi there, thanks for watching the videos and for the nice words....that’s awesome to help start a business for your daughters, the idea of a dump trailer is great! We wish you lots of luck with that. As far as the insurance question goes I would call around because of your long time clean driving record I’m sure your rate will be different than mine. Good luck to you. Keep us posted
What's the GVWR on the truck?
Great video! Thank you for taking the time to make and upload it. Who built your liftgate, 12 yard dump, backpack body? So much versatility in a small package.
Monarch trucks. Glad you like it.
@@SonomaStrong Thanks for getting back to me I appreciate you.
Nice truck thought it would have been bigger than 12 yard guess the storage box makes it look bigger that's one thing I really need that my dump trailer doesn't have
Yeah it does look bigger than it is
omg today my transmission went out, just started my business and i just want to cry, but im a man so i do not do that lol.
Who makes the body/who do I order from? Love the flipped panels and plywood.
Monarch trucks. We ordered it that way because you can advertise your logo easier. Glad you like it
I like the dump truck. But I couldn't do one. I like the truck and trailer over the dump truck. Truck and trailer is more of a skill to drive. One customer said I couldn't make it in his driveway with a trailer. I backed that shit right up to his door like his small driveway with carves was nothing. Plus my tractor couldn't reach over the side of your dump truck. My trailer has fold down sides. I do concrete/dirt haul away. $20/$35 to dump 4 tons of clean concrete/dirt at a recycling place. My next investment is going to be a power wheelbarrow for the small jobs.
That’s great. Do what works for you
Love you guys videos, i was wondering what insurance company finally gave you guys the chance, thanks.
Thank for watching our videos, we appreciate that. Sierra Specialty insurance agency
@@SonomaStrong thanks for the response cant wait to see the next video
Who makes that lift gate and do you lose much ground clearance when you're lifting the bed to dump?
No and the lift gate is awesome, you will love it
@@SonomaStrong I bet! I'm trying to find a good tuck away model for my NPR!
Hi Matt, where did you buy your dump truck at?
Greeting from a junk guy in the UK.
Great video again guys!
I'm using a Ford Transit tipper truck with box size 10x7x4 feet, do you have these trucks in the US?
Thanks for watching the videos. I’m not sure I’m going to look into it.
Thanks for video so you added a lot of customization to the truck. Do you suggest a particular p;lace to purchase. Also how do you wrap the truck with ypur branding
we bought ours from Monarch Trucks
Why do you need a DOT number for this truck? Is it a CA requirement
Yes it is
Just getting started with a 1999 Ford F550 with a 12 cubic yard dump box. What do you charge for a full 12 yard load?
We wish you lots of luck in this business, we do not give our prices out in the videos due to wanting to stay competitive in our area, although we give lots of good tips in all of our videos. The pricing ga,e is not a one size fits all, it depends on the income in your area, where you live, the dump expenses, how far away the job is etc.... I would call competitors in your area and get an idea of what they are charging and go from there. You will eventually find the sweet spot that works for you. Good luck. We also have a video with tips on pricing junk removal.
Mat Jo Jo what was the total.for that truck? Looking to get that same set up absolutely perfect truck. You guys are the best!
The truck was about 64,000 from Momarch trucks, they cost more now. We started with just a pickup truck though
is it possible too configure a truck like this with the lift gate and a hitch?
No I ask they couldn’t do it....
Love the videos congrats on your success 👏 for the dump trailer do you need a certain license out here in California?
Like the video a lot can you. I would like to know, can you post the information about your setup so I can get it?
Yes you do
Can you guys do a video about UD DOT numbers and CA numbers?
Not sure how good that video would be, we really struggled with that when we got our truck, spent forever on the phone...esp with the corona virus and all hose facilities being closed, we played phone tag with everyone for a very long time. It took lots of patience.
@@SonomaStrong ya I get that. I guess maybe a video explains when you do and don’t need a DOT number or CA number and the commercial insurance. It is a hassle. I started and stopped. I don’t think I need it so I never bothered with the CA after I got my DOT and I run no numbers on my truck
I feel like it would be great in a lot of locations and situations, but the dump trailer sits so much lower, even with 4' sides on it. I think I'll get one someday, but I'm not sure how much I'd use it. The insurance sounds rough too, I'm paying an extra $20 per month for business use.
Always do what works best for you
After having this truck, when you order your next truck what would you add/remove/tweak anything?
Would you be ordering with Monarch again or source other dealers in CALI/USA?
Any incentives on buying with Monarch/Isuzu?
As a completely new buisness starting, if the purchase of a MPR was an option vs Truck n Trailer what would you say?.....Nutz to be going all in on a new buisness, Start small build up with a truck n trailer, is whats been said to us so far.
ML&R
We would order the same truck with no changes, we will probably go through Monarch again, no Incentives to do so, I would also suggest to not go all in a new business, you should start smaller to see how junk removal is in your area. Then reinvest as your business grows. Thanks for watching the videos.
Trying to figure out any licenses needed for a junk removal business. Do you need a DOT number for dump trailers also?
No not for trailers. Go to your city hall and ask about a business license
Hheeeyy JO JO!!!
Nice trucks , What’s the warranty on it?
I'm looking to buy one of these&start working
What do you guys think of
2003 isuzu npr with
142miles/227 kilamters on it for $24000 Canadian
Sounds good, we wish you luck
would you say an isuzu npr is more like a f150, f250, or f350. part of buying a bigger truck for me isnt just the motor its the frame, big brakes, that sort of thing. and i understand regular trucks but i cant figure out how to tell what box truck can handle what.
most household junk removal jobs will be 1 ton or under so I would go with that. construction jobs are more
i use a 10 foot uhual is that a decent size or is it rediculous
That is great, you can make good money with that. We mentioned this in a video.
Mathew does Stellar dump trailers in Ontario California have a good reputation? There seems to be good deals in prices over there.
We never dealt with them, but I looked at their reviews and they are good
@@SonomaStrong Thanks man. They look well built.
2019 F350 with a 14 foot goose neck dump and 2003 excursion with a 12 foot dump trailer Question: 1.Does your Isuzu have a tow package? Was wondering if lift gat gets in the way....2.How long did it take to order??
No tow package, it took a long time because of the corona virus. It wasn’t done when they said it would be, it took about 3 months
Did you have to find special parking for it?
No. Not yet, we may have to in the future though
Hello guys how are you doing? I’m using a 2000 Ford F-250 and I’m not making any money 💰, if 2021 nothing changes I just move to something else the competition is extremely heavy here in the northeast.
Hope things get better for you and your able to continue with junk removal
Are you able to dump the body without dropping the tailgate? Or do you need to lower the gate and dump on top of it??
We don’t have to do anything but open the doors and dump.
Where u get the truck made at ?
Monarch trucks
Very dope video! I have been eyeing this truck for awhile. I do Electronic Removal and this would allow me to accept bigger Appliances. I currently use a 2001 Chevy Astro Van that I removed all the seats and carpet. So far its working just need to get a hydraulic lift gate though.
Go for it!
would you get a bigger bed on your next truck?
I wouldn’t but JoJo would go a little bigger to have more options for people
Do you have to get the insurance all at once or can it be broken down into monthly payments?
you can break it down
Who did you guys get to customize yalls truck?
Monarch trucks out of San Jose
Hello. Curious. Why was the insurance so difficult to get ? Is it because of the newer year of the truck or is it because of another reason ? Thank you
It was because of a
Having a new dot number
12 yards seems kind of small. do you feel it is sufficient for most of your jobs? also why a gas truck?
We run 17 or 20-yard trailers pulled by 1-ton diesel trucks and our competition runs 20 and 30-yard truck and trailers.
Would love to hear your thoughts on efficiency and cost-effectiveness on a truck this size.
awesome video!

Check out @Johnny Bobby on CZcams Isuzu FTR Hooklift.
czcams.com/video/3WoeLIjZFRw/video.html All about the dump truck.
I’ll respond to the gas vs diesel in this truck. First off in a diesel guy with a tree business. When I was looking at getting an Isuzu, of course I wanted the diesel but the salesman really pushed the gas. On paper the specs aren’t that different. I’ve built the sides up and we use a chipper with it. Fully loaded its a pig but gets the job done. Empty without the chipper, it’s fast! So after having it for 2 years, I have no regrets. He said he gets 12mpg, more like 7. I don’t even get 200 miles to a tank. The most practical vehicle I’ve ever bought.
How much
Hi there....Steel or aluminum?

Im in California . why is so hard to insurance for that truck sorry i did not understand about the dot comment
How does it work when you guys dump?
Not sure I understand the question, how does the dump bed work..? Or not sure how to do the process at the dump.
What insurance company approved you guys boss?

Getting parts is becoming tougher and tougher, isn’t it?
We just got our tarp replaced. It didn’t take long. We haven’t really had to get anything else for the truck, so we wouldn’t know about the other parts
2013 Isuzu dump truck 7 years old gas they want 35ggggs dam the money I have I be broke ooo boy maybe next year but bran new
Do you have to have a CDL to drive the dump truck in the video?
no you do not, we mentioned that in the video
@@SonomaStrong I didn't catch that in the video. Thanks for the info. Your videos have helped me tremdously!
