Yes, she really was in her element as a charming and witty guest. I guess she's spent much of her career being stern and serious, that she's had to hide that part of herself from the public (whether in the courtroom or on CNN as a legal analyst). I wanna see her do more fun casual stuff - she really seems to love it!
Just that little bit of information on the Harvey Weinstein appeal ruling really helped me understand the legal perspective. Still dismayed though.

yes and she reveals the flaws of the justice system. I judge a person by everything about them, every detail matters and the details together give me context and connecting the dots about the person. So yes every crimes the person committed should be considered and taken into account but the justice system is so narrow minded and focus on one thing, allowing the evil people to keep walking among us and repeating their crimes.

Laura Coates was terrific. I find it very helpful when you have media people expressing themselves in a more normal setting then on the evening news or something. We get a sense of their humanity, their intelligence, their thoughtfulness, and their expertise. So thank you.

The prosecution IS NOT calling it a hush money trial.
Yeah only corporate media and conservatives are framing it incorrectly. The prosecution and the free press are reporting it as election fraud conspiracy.
CNN is calling it that of which Laura Coates is a paid pundit. The irony shouldn’t be lost on these people who live comfortable lives on TV and which give any conspiracy theorists half truths that “Corporate Media” isn’t tell them the “truth.”

She explained the Weinstein conviction overturning perfectly. Harvey hasn't gotten away with anything in that case, they just have to start from square one, and the prosecution/judge have to not try to admit "prior acts", which is what got the conviction overturned.
In court, it doesn't matter how many assaults he may have committed, did he commit THIS one? Even his conviction in California shouldn't be admitted in this court.
