In this video we recover data from an old iPhone 5C for a customer. The phone was ran over by a "small" semi truck and made it out better than most. We replaced two chips on the motherboard to get touch to work.
Why did we need touch to work to recover data from this iPhone? Great question, we needed to click "trust" on the iPhone in order for it to connect to a computer, which allows us to make an iTunes backup of the device.

It was just loose and still made a connection. So I used some uv mask to hold it back in place

Stupid question, but have you worked with a galaxy Z Flip3? One day, while opening it, I heard a pop and the middle became black. Top screen not usable but bottom works fine. I'm probably going to send It to ya when I get the money.

hey do you know if its a problem with the hard drive its an xbox one s and it gets a e100 error screen i tried offline updating but it didint work it allways stops at step 3 when it gets does with step 2 it just freezes and after a while it shows the error screen so is it the hard drive or not

I might be stupid. But if you got the screen working couldn't you just plug a lighting-to-USB-a dongle and then plug a mouse into that dongle, then use the mouse to touch?
I have used this trick to help people with no touch on samsung phones before and you can use the mouse to have a cuesur on the screen with no extra setup or need for actually touch. Although I have never actually tried it with a iPhone for the reason of not having a lightning dongle so it may not work. I might just be stupid 🤣

Can I ask, is it possible this is possible. A company worked for was bought out and I got fired. They did not ask for the iPad back and I could not do anything because they setup everything.
