The BARRA 1866 .177 Lever Action CO2 BB/Pellet Rifle delivered one pleasant surprise after another. At over 6 pounds and with mostly all metal construction, the Barra 1866 just feels awesome. But that’s not all it has going for it. The default smooth bore barrel can handle both bbs and pellets, but if you want more accuracy and power, you can opt for either a .177 rifled barrel or a .22 rifled barrel, making the 1866 one of the most versatile CO2 rifles on the market. Let’s get it out of the box!

With the rifled barrel option being available in both .177 and .22 caliber is definitely getting my attention.
I have the pump up model and it is surprisingly accurate with both pellets and bb's the quality is very good too.
That is a beauty!
You lit up like Ralphie in the Christmas movie.
Nice
Seems very similar to the Umarex cowboy rifle except for the brass color and optional rifled barrel.
I'd like to see a head to head with this and the umarex Legends cowboy lever !!!
Great idea Timmy.
@@gmanneod8085 thank you !
This one shoots way better
I wonder if a regulated PCP kit for a 1322 could be modded to work with this rifle?

can someone here help, my Allen key is jammed or something i just got it out of the box and i dont know how to take the allen key out.
Lets be real here. Who here expects it to ACTUALLY expects it to push those .22 with any decent power? I mean its cool. But there always has to be a hitch right?
Getting 410 fps with 14.3 Crossman's In 65 degree basement.
@@back_roadsairgunning2200 really? Wow. I eat my words. That's not to bad.
For $220-$250 it should’ve come with a rifled barrel in my opinion.
Exactly why would you not offer it as a rifled barrel version
250? Should come with BOTH cal. BOTH smooth/rifled. Let be honest. This is neither powerful. Or new. My old man had some like these from back in the day. I'll pass. I'd give 200. But damn sure not 250
Funny the 1866 pump version has a rifled barrel for 59.99 😂
@@greyfoxag Yes it does, and lot more power too, and no co2. No scope mount but the open sights are really good on it and the rifle is very accurate.
this could be really good by barra .
Would be nice to augment my Colt SAA pistol but, (breathing through my teeth) I foresee having to buy a bunch of spare cartridges and having to crawl around picking up the brass.
How do change the barrel to .22
We will do a video on it.
Cheers

Simple drive out a pin that holds the barrel assembly to the receiver, pull and wiggle the barrel off, the rest is fairly self explanatory.
Are you able to hunt small game?
I would not. We are about to film the .22 barrel upgrade and testing. That will give us something to go by for sure.
Cheers

I am thinking here,... how can this be called a rifle, when it's a smooth bore ? ( I just had to say that,.... "the devil made me do it" LOL )
In the meantime, I would buy one if it came standard, with rifling.
