Barra continues to push the boundaries of cool and awesome airguns. Their new 1866 Lever Action BB/Pellet rifle ships with a smoothbore barrel that fires both BBs and Pellets. For those who want more accuracy, you can install a rifled .177. And for those that want even more, Barra offers a .22 caliber rifled barrel. We have the .22 rifled barrel in the shop and can’t wait to show that off once the weather clears up. Stay tuned for that! Let’s get started.

Grate video Rick !
I'd love to see a head to head with the Umarex cowboy lever !!
The CO2 powered Barra 1866 you have in your 2024 video is the new upgrade to the Barra,1866 multi-pump that the local Walmart here in Pottstown Pa still has in stock. I'd be happy either on and with both.
I'm planning to get both the Barra 1866 and Umarex Cowboy Legends rifles at some point in time. With the videos I've seen on them I'd enjoy them both.
I think I'd prefer the rifled barrel options Rick, so now I'm looking forward to seeing that video.
That is perfect for my 8 year old!! Absolutely beautiful. I LOVE YOUR CHANNEL. CHEERS!! From

Awesome glad you like it!

Looks like fun, and that's the whole point of a gun like that!
Very nice rifle, Rick! Living in the Northern USA, Co2 powered air guns are only useful for 6 months out of the year. Maybe Barra can find a way put a small HPA cylinder(s) in the 1866 but stock. I would definitely buy a rifled barrel version!!
Dont they have a conversion for some co2 rifles?
@@Jeeper1378 The bottles are too big. Haven't seen the old HiPacs in years. I heard they were sketchy and bad.
Gman I've been saying that for years !! Why can't someone come out with a 12 gram or in this case a 24 gram HPA cartridge ??
So cool ! I actually have the Umarex Cowboy Lever. It's just awesome! But I'd love to have one of these babies to go along with it. I think I want the one with the nickel(ish) looking receiver. I love Air Rifles, but there is something just so cool about these Cowboy Rifles!
super cool gun I love a good lever action rifle.
Cool!
I recently received my 22 version, and upon inspection, I've noticed a few areas of concern. Firstly, the imitation brass parts appear overly shiny, giving them a somewhat artificial appearance. Additionally, I've observed that the rear sight is obscured when folded down with the red dot rail attached, which may affect functionality. Furthermore, the lever, trigger, and hammer feel somewhat plasticky, detracting from the overall quality. Notably, the hammer exhibits an unusual vibration upon triggering. Lastly, there are noticeable wear marks on the inner finish, suggesting potential binding issues with the lever mechanism. These observations raise some questions regarding the product's construction and durability.
Can u review the gamo arrow 29 foot pound of energy version
How much is it? And is it available yet?
🤔 pellgun oil or silicone oil on the CO2's ??
