3:19 - Hi, Stephen! Thanks for your videos. There’s a way to share your the major part of the Shortcut’s automation. Instead to create a blank automation, you can use an existing Shortcut and run it using the automation parameter in this case the Bluetooth. In the automation, select “Run Shortcut” and you can save the hard work in the automations, and also share it. 😊

Is it possible to set morning routine, to tell date, weather etc when connected to airpods but JUST in the morning, not every time when it connects?

Stephen I saw one video and it was enough to made me a fan of this channel. I got a request for you. I take a lot of photos in my job, I want those photos to be saved in an specific album, it is possible to make an automation to save pictures in an specific folder based in a location range?

shortcut when connecting AirPods phone lowers to a lower or silent volume due to having my ringer volume high but when connected to bluetooth notifications are extremely loud . Please and thank you for anyone able to do it

Hi Stephen and thanks for this video! I have a question about the Auto Good Morning Routing: is it possible to add a "time" condition to avoid the shortcut to be run every time I put my AirPods on?

I’ve tried the Noise Cancelling By Location on both my iPhones 11 & 15 pro models and with different locations (home and work) and instead of going into transparency mode it goes straight to noise cancelling using iPod Pro 2.
My script list looks exactly like yours on screen - with an added address - so I’m miffed to why it doesn’t work…
This is great! Didn't know there were actions to switch AirPod modes! I have already added those actions into a couple of my outdoor running actions. I always want noise cancellation when running and then to switch back to Adaptive when I am done running. One question though... Is there a shortcut action to toggle Conversational Awareness? I also like to have that off when I am running... Thanks!!
Nice! And I believe you can set Adaptive audio in that action, but the conversation awareness doesn't have granular control from what I can see.

Regarding Spotify correct there is nothing by default but you could ask Siri to play a music or podcast and you will be able to find this action in shortcut. You need to configure your shortcut quickly because the action will disappear quickly.

Is it possible to create a shortcut that plays the next song in Apple Music when you do the two finger pinch gesture? That would be a game changer. How about 3 finger pinch for previous? Thx!

I have a question regarding the Shortcuts app and identifying when a bluetooth device is connected.
I want my action button to do one thing if my AirPods are connected and another thing if the AirPods aren't connected. Is this possible?
"If Airpods are connected do X otherwise do Y"
You can! There's an action for that using the third-party Toolbox Pro or Actions app

Can you automate call audio routing? Speaker for home, AirPods away?
Unfortunately the set playback destination doesn't work with call routing.
Is it possible to write a shortcut on my iPhone, that sets the display brightness on my iPad?
There's no ability to do that, but setting brightness is available directly on iPad Shortcuts!
Is there a shortcut or automation that could restart the iPhone? Siri no longer can restart my phone for me and I know it’s important to do every so often. It would make it easier if there were a shortcut or automation instead of having to fully shut down and then turn back on manually.
Tired several of these but they are all worthless since you cant turn off the notification that tells you that a shortcut is running.
I want to create a shortcut that mutes the iPhone speaker when certain conditions are met-specifically, based on both location and time. If these conditions are satisfied, the iPhone's volume should be muted without affecting the playback destination, such as AirPods, if music is currently playing.
Stephen - The choose music or podcast, you said you’re in the same automation. Is that an automation or a shortcut? It seems shortcut? Trying to create but a little confusing
It was an automation. If you start with a choose from menu, when you put in your AirPods it'll show the menu automatically!
hi man, do you think it's possible when I talk on the phone with airpods to activate a light to let people know not to disturb ?
Just looked and unfortunately there's no automation trigger for when a phone call comes in. And the "When app is opened" doesn't work for the phone when it comes as a phone call.

There is a "Set Volume" action that can be used to set the Ringtone volume (which should affect notifications). Then you can create an automation that When AirPods are connects > Ringtone Volume set to 0%. And the opposite when disconnected!
Is it possible to perform a scene when an Apple Watch is connected to its charger?
Unfortunately there are no actions like that for Apple Watch.
