Thanks so much to La Danesa for inviting us to stay. We paid for our meals and staff tips. This luxury hotel in Ecuador may not be for all budgets, but if you want to splurge our room was gorgeous, the grounds are beautiful and the staff were so incredibly nice and knowledgeable.

I thought up to now that everything in Ecuador was reasonably priced, then saw the cost! But, something like this in the US would be likely 50% more. Luxury stay!! Lovely video, terrific production values, as always.
There are a lot of wealthy people in Ecuador. I just don’t show that side because I’m not one of them 😆
Lovely place! I enjoyed the cacao and coffee tour, did you know in 2018 french and ecuadorian archaeologists discovered the cacao plant originated in Ecuador and was domesticated there 5300 years ago, several centuries before it arrived to Mexico and Guatemala.
I did know that! I've mentioned it in other videos but I guess I forgot to this time hahaha!

My friend says the cocoa bean tastes like juicy fruit gum, I guess it has a slight hint of it.
The raw coffee berry is quite nice.
Like that you included your stay and that Andres got to enjoy a great birthday there.
I've had raw cacao before but I didn't know that it tasted different depending on where it was on the fruit. I love how you can take cacao tours but each time you learn something new.
I usually am focused on the food in your videos, but that room you stayed in there was absolutely epic. Never seen anything like it.

Each hacienda in Ecuador is so different and unique but this one was absolutely a stunner.

Loved the video but there’s a big volume imbalance between your vocals and the music. Not the background music behind the vocals, but the sections with just music. We were diving for the volume control. LOVED the content!
Thanks for the heads up on that as I try to keep an eye out on audio levels but missed it this time. I hate having to keep fiddling with audio when I watch videos or tv vs commercials.
