Didn't know about Craig Brown until the 67HailHail tribute. Great football man. I heard Brendan Rodgers' first intro to the fan's through a celtic tv clip where he finished with Hail Hail...too soon Brendan, I thought and said so on the chat page. I also said a number of other things, all positive, but still someone decided to take what they believed was a moral high ground 🤦♂️🤷♂️🤦♂️ I was indifferent to his departure, the departure of Ange was much more painful, and, well, the guy (BR) is a first class coach. The man is our manager now and that as they say is that. From now on though, it is the team, the club and us, everyone else is just, eh, a tourist or some other such word. HH
Rangers fan here. NGL I've watched these at times when we think things are bad for opponents for a laugh but Hamish always carries himself well. We both suffer from the lure of the EPL but Rodgers is the best manager on the market for you, by a mile. He could have got a top 6 EPL job a few years ago. The model of being a stepping stone can actually work for both teams, if we have a 2-3 year model. and are progressive. I reckon Beale and Rodgers will have a good battle in the Old Firm games, both see football the right way. The difference will be if we sign top attackers/ if you keep your best players/strengthen your defensive midfield. Bring it on next year - lets battle. RIP Craig Brown.

Ange has gone and deserted us mid project. I don't hold any grudge over that as that's business. It's these guys professions. I felt the same when Rodgers went. What I don't get though is how fans like the GB etc give everyone else who leaves a free pass but call Rodgers over the top insults like fraud and rat. For me Rodgers has been brave enough to define what he means by 'next level' and the clearer he defines that then the more likely it is that we actually achieve this 'next level'. Its all about having a managar and football structure that is not afraid to define what progress looks like and in Brendan we have that.
He’s failed to make it past the Round of 32 in the Europa League at 5 attempts at Liverpool ( twice) Celtic (twice) and Leicester. He’s had 2 wins in 18 games in the Champions League despite major spending at Liverpool(£300m in Transfers) and greater spending at Celtic than both Strachan and Lennon who both made it into the knockout phase of that Competition. It’s all one him defining what he envisions but him carrying it out seemingly has been the issue regardless. For us to achieve anywhere near the success of Strachan and Lennon I’m afraid Brendan needs to alter his own approach in Europe. Ie more pragmatic in terms of tactics and taking better teams on. The single approach for Brendan ,Ronny and Ange simply didn’t produce anywhere near the results we hoped for.
Can't help feeling we're going to lose some of our key players like Hatate, Kyogo and maybe CCV to big spending English teams. Hope there's contingency plans in place to replace them with quality if it happens. Won't half puncture the feelgood factor especially if Kyogo leaves. Burnley want to sign him but if he's any sense he'll say no thanks to Burnley
