Hehe, I think the demand for "interest compounded in blood" suggests they were not gonna be satisfied with just apt repayment - they wanted blood no matter what. It's mobster mentality, to make an example of those who cross them, sending a message to all on what happens when you mess with the mob - even if you try (and even succeed) to make amends.
But in any other case - definitely, communication in relationships is crucial. :-)

@@variant in a live movie Alfred says this to Bruce Wayne in the Bat Cave. " I have no wish to fulfill my few remaining years grieving for the loss of old friends..or their son's." that was kind of shallow of Alfred to say but he made a very interesting point. that was his way of saying he cared a lot about Bruce Wayne but didn't want to live the rest of his life in sadness. it let's us know Alfred is a caring person in his own way of course. In the animated series we hear Alfred say in the cave to Bat Man. "meaning I trust that when your done with him you'll be seeing her:" to which Bruce responds back to him. " You think you know everything about me don't you." then Alfred says to him. "Diapered your bottom I bloody well aught to sir!" And of course Bruce says right back to Alfred. " well your wrong!" his decisions kept him from ever having relationships with a girl forever. because the life Bruce Wayne has chosen is fighting crime instead of settleing down. I believe the story of Andrea Beaumont is not finished that she needs to have her own story line that I wanna see. I know the Phantasm will return again and keep going. if it is true she will run into another vigilante. the joker started out as red hood before becoming the clown prince of crime in Gotham. he was hesitating but figured this was how to get what he wanted in life. the Riddler is another character he is insane enjoys playing sick games with lives. doesn't play fair at all his sat if action is seeing people die in his death traps. Humphrey Dumpler also known by many as Humpty Dumpty is quiet enjoys taking things apart and putting them back together. Wouldn't recommend letting him do that with people. Calendar man knows Catwoman a very smart and dangerous criminal knows times dates everything about all residents of Gotham. Killer Croc feared by everyone that is not a vigilante. Tweedle Dee and Tweedle Dumb they look the same in every way only these two are not brothers they are Cousins. Black Mask looks like death himself. Fire Fly not what you might expect he thinks himself as a giant insect. Penguin hates the Wayne family with the fact of them ruining his crime operation. there are many criminals to read about in the Game Bat Man return to Arkham Asylum. keep in mind not every criminal in insane many are very dangerous. The Tiger military villains that worked for Hugo Strange are the worst and dangerous of all. with access to military weapons and explosives to make Gotham City a cloud of dust and rubble. Tiger Forces are not easily defeated and will return eventually. Harley Quinn wants revenge on Bat Man for the death of the joker.

Make her canon! There should be a live action DC film with her character. Andrea Beaumont as The Phantasm is a very compelling and underrated character with a great backstory! If Broly from Dragon Ball can become canon, so can The Phantasm, nuff said💯.

To all the people who keep saying you have the VHS. Uhh, good for you? No really. Fantastic. Go you random person who is a bigger fan than i for owning something i do not own. Hooray you stumbled upon a use for a vhs tape that most likely has not been played since dvds have been out. Im sure if he had owned it he would have said something. But good on you for reminding him of something that literally does not matter.
To Aris, youre awesome my man. Love your videos and love your take on things. Your videos are how i convince normies that comics are awesome

Fun Fact: Arthur Reeves is also the name of the man who started the Law Firm that would later be named Pearson Hardman in the show suits. The main characters Mike Ross (who was written a little like he had superpowers, when he just had an photographic memory) and his mentor and best friend Harvey Spectre were constantly written like Batman and Robin even having the split like Bruce and Dick. And they would constantly make references to this fact as well.

I am actually really surprised you never brought up the Batman arc Fear The Reaper from Year Two which was published in 1991 and featured a very similar villain to The Phantasm created by Mike Barr, Alan Davis and even Todd McFarlane. The Reaper is hauntingly similar to The Phantasm, right down to the scythe gauntlets that they wear. The gimmick with The Reaper is that he was Gotham's original dark avenger, before Batman, and he turned out to be the father of the woman that Bruce was dating. Sound strikingly familiar? Look it up and check it out, maybe you can make an addendum video to this that looks into the similarities between these two villains.
