Baldur doesn't tell Kratos what he wants because he thinks Kratos is a giant. Since giants can see the future, Baldur says "You already know what I want"
Oha seni burda görmeyi hiç beklemiyordum
That makes sense but didn't he already know Kratos was a God because he knew Kratos wasn't supposed to be in the Norse realm
No he means that he thinks he is suppose to be in jotumhielm as it is the home of giants
@@cringyhuman3210 no he says your kind is suppose to be better than us much more advanced which means he is talking about the greek gods
What are those he’s talking. About Faye Atreus mom “your kind was supposed to be so enlightened so much better than us” referring to the giants being kind he didn’t know kratos was a god he went there to find a. Way to reach the realm of the giants not knowing she was ashes they even said it in the game and if you do the side quests using boats mimir tells us an tale of all giants that they were kind
"How does one blow a horn with no lungs?"
How does one talk with no lungs?

did you think of magic ?
The thing with the apples.... In Ancient Greece tossing an apple was a marriage proposal
The Apples of Idunn? Those are a reference to the apples of Idunn in Norse mythology, which kept the gods young and healthy.
No... Kraevon is referring to the myth of Atalanta, in which a suitor married Atalanta by winning a footrace against her using golden apples.
And since Kratos is Greek he might have viewed it differently.
Kraevorn dude, it was a dwarf offering him an apple to eat. You don’t need to pull out Wikipedia out of your ass to know that.
So sindri almost asked kratos to marry him?!
@@user-we5zq6re9d nah just a throwaway joke/reference
I understand this is just a joke video, but when you sin for Atreus believing his father is human, it completely rejects the fact he’s never been outside his woods. Therefore has most likely never seen other people attempt strength based tasks. So all he knows is ‘Well I guess humans can do this, I wonder if I’ll be like that when I’m older?’
I mean when I was a kid I believed my dad was the strongest thing ever. Boi is still a child. Has no reason to doubt Kratos
Great synopsis, agreed
I mean, but then why would he say his father was really strong. For all he knows all people are like that. If he has no frame of reference.
Eat Me because compared to himself he is strong
Not to mention that Kratos was out hunting all the time (Atresu says so himself) and hardly ever spent time with his son before the events of the game, which means Kratos probably never had to use his massive strenght in front of Atreus. Classic Dartigan, completely ignoring things that are obvious to everyone else for the sake of "comedy".
Baldur isn't looking for Faye, he's looking for the last giant in Midgar (excluding Jörmungandr). Gender neutral. He mistook Kratos for the giant. I get that this is hard, even impossible, to catch the first time you play that scene, but surely it's easy to understand what he means with "I thought you'd be bigger" and "I thought your kind was supposed to be so enlightened" once you finished the game.
I found out via internet, but the 'your kind is supposed to be more enlightened' seemed like a very clear reference to Greek gods to me, as Greeks are known as philosophers while ancient Norse are known as warriors. Probably intended double entendre.
@@FrenkieWest32 Well, it was definitely meant to be a red herring. But it became clear once you finished the game.
i won't lie i kinda liked that red herring. it was confusing, but at the same time, it was like does baldur think kratos is a giant, or does he actually know kratos is from greece, i think that really added to the kystery, he had no clue he was meeting a god killer.
Fiend Herald wow he just stating that baldur tryna get the last giant regardless of gender why you gotta make it such a bruh moment
actulay Baldur is looking for Laufey e.g. Faya cous he wants to get rid of Freyas spell on him and way to Jötunheim (also odins unhealthy intrest in ginats abilities) and she with her foresight and knowlege could/would help him plus Giants had shapeshifting abilities thus Baldur mistaking Kratos for Faya.
also GoW4 mithos Giants are one of most advanced cultures e.g. coment on how much cultured their kind are. since it is shown that Odin dosent rly care about advancing Asgards culture only amasing power for him self and eliminating and traping anyone who would oppose or pose treath to him.
Faye is a giant, she has the gift of seeing the future, see saw the whole of kratos journey before he did it, AKA knowing mimir was there and would help.
She even knew that Kratos would destroy Greece and its pantheon before drifting to Midgard.

She also voiced Athena in Age of Mythology. She is Athena.
Doom Guy what about Athena in the Borderlands games?
I don't hear any difference from Athena in GOW 3.
@@recess7 Carole Ruggier= God of War, God of War II & God of War (2018)
Erin Torpey= God of War: Chains of Olympus, God of War: Ghost of Sparta & God of War III
Actually he meant that the third tine his voice changed, but nevermind, you have a good point too
For your sin regarding "I remember Kratos being a lot softer to his daughter and his surrogate daughter, Pandora," this is actually a reference to Greek history. Historically, Spartans were much harder on their sons than they were on their daughters, because their sons were expected to become the next generation of soldiers. If you were a Spartan citizen, you were a soldier and nothing else.
Gabriel Drake Spartan women were pretty darn athletic too.
Maybe he's training Atreus in a way that if Kratos is forced against his will to try to kill Atreus, he can fight back pretty well, unlike his daughter. I mean, think about it. Kratos has little to no protection against a bow, and that shock arrow seemed to harm him a lot. And since Kratos said that he would gladly let Atreus kill him if it meant he would live, what if it's all foreshadowing for Kratos to have his mind taken over by another God to attack Atreus, but Atreus has to kill him, as foreshadowed by dialogue and the painting made by the giants, which would also give Atreus a motive to hunt down the Gods and become a new Kratos?
It's probably not going to happen, but it's just a theory. A GAME THEORY!
you forgot to at "AND THANKS FOR READING" at the end
Yknow us blacks do almost the same shit
Shimmer Shine and they were considered full citizens
I feel like you've never played the game with some of these. Either that or you weren't paying attention. Sindri explains later on that their dwarf magic allows them to travel between realms and even makes himself 'invisible' at one point by stepping between realms to show Atreus before telling him the invisibility doesn't work on dragons. They don't need the gate portals or the world tree.
The fact that you have the moment in the video and still question how Sindri and Brok move around before the characters is either fully for the purpose of being able to count it as a 'sin' or ignorance.
Baldur is not known as Baldur in the first encounter, only the stranger and while he might be bad at negotiating, he's not asking anything of 'Kratos'. He's there to find the giant he knows is living in the woods - that Kratos and Atreus have never been out of so no, they didn't see the protection spell - not Kratos. He was looking for Laufey, who Mimir states later was a legend among the aesir. He had never seen her so Baldur obviously hadn't either and mistook Kratos for her, the last of the giants.
He threw the axe in the water because the axe returns to him by magic. He wasn't worried about losing it. Atreus thinks his dad is still human after crazy physical feats because he's never seen anyone but his parents.
No one ever says how much time has passed between GOW 3 and this game so why assume it's only been a few years or 'not that long'? Kratos is a God. It makes more sense to believe this game took place hundreds of years after the last game instead of trying to tie everything into a conventional, mortal timeline.
I get that this is a joke video but damn. I feel like you just watched some cutscenes and made the video.
Also, a lot of the sins given should be removed when you find out Faye knew EXACTLY what was going to happen. She knew every single footstep and hand placement Kratos and her son were going to make.
I love game and cinema sins but this one is by far the weakest I've seen.
Sidenote. This is my 2nd favourite game of all time, just behind Left 4 Dead 2. God of War is a masterpiece.
yeah but the powers of the two dwarves is vague and illogic. does walking between realms mean they're invisible? or does it mean they can quickly travel between realm? but does that mean the dragon could do the same? then why didn't he turn invisible during the fight. also it still doesn't explain how quickly they move from place to place in the same realm
@@leonpaelinck so as far as I can gather from the writers (And I may have misunderstood some of it) the dwarves move in the space between realms. So they can travel to other realms almost instantly and also travel in the current realm the same way. This also allows them to go unseen. Dragons used to be dwarves (I think, though not 100% on that) so that's probably why they can see a dwarf when he/she is 'invisible'. But since the dragons have kind of regressed due to whatever magic turned them into a dragon then they are no longer smart enough to travel between realms like they did before.
Shannon another thing, he questions the world serpent speaking the dead language.
Well we find out later that “boy” is Loki, father of the world serpent and he also is shown to learn the “dead” language in the last fight. If anything you should have sinned Loki for being a dick and only teaching his child a dead language just so he can learn it in the past once it goes back in time.
Great write up.
He's intentionally dense in all of these videos, its frustrating. Many times he will sin things even though they will be later explained in the game. Out of the 100+ things he sins, usually less than a handful are actually deserving.
I was expecting a Boy Counter in some way, shape or form.

This video is straight up trash
The Blades of Chaos point is valid when you only know what's said in game however, other cannon work states that the blades are magically bound to him and no matter how hard he tries they will always appear again. For example, if Kratos throws them off a cliff, they'll appear on the rock behind him when he turns around. That's why he has them, not because he chose to, but because he accepted he's not gonna get rid of them
Like 22 trying to get rid of her ticket to earth
No he is correct kratos lost the blades of chaos in the first gamw and then later acquired the blades of athena which then finally turned into the blades of exile which were lost

No one actually teaches Atreus the dead language. It's just Atreus' gift as a god to easily understand languages. Hence how he learns 3 more languages from his native language within the span of a week.
The thing about Balders dialog in the beginning is that the whole thing is a double entendre. We think he's talking about Kratos and him being an Olympian God, but it's actually just Balder thinking he's the giant, not knowing that it was Faye or that she's died.

the "omega is every travel rune" that is NOT the omega symbol. it is a norse rune for "transport" or "portal", and it looks almost exactly like the omega symbol. it is one reason it is used for the games symbol, since the omega symbol was the original symbol. the things that change is the small runes INTERLACED into the rune. each new one has the small runes in different places, and one is brighter at the point the circle inter-laps [at the bottom of it]. THAT is the travel rune.

18:33 Tyr didn't want to kill them, the trap was meant as a test, if they are smart and clever enough
SPOILER...
Cory Barlog in an interview with Eazy Allies confirmed that Baldur had mistaken Kratos as a Giant. The magic stave that hid them from the Aesir was made by Faye, and the trees that channeled her magic were marked by her to be used as part of her funeral pyre to draw the God's attention and force Kratos and Atreus to embark on their journey, otherwise Kratos would've stalled on the task believing his son wouldn't be ready.
Baldur figured he was a Giant so he would know they were looking for a way to Jötunheim. It's why he was being "coy" with his wording.

Rather than assuming that Kratos’ “adventures” in Greece were merely “not that long ago”, maybe you could go along with the game which would suggest that Kratos left Greece before Tyr died, and spent centuries wandering. Kratos is confirmed to be at least 700 years old at this point by Cory Barlog.

It’s a “dead language” because it’s a language from the future that hasn’t been created yet.
Actually, what Tess said is common sense. What you just said is illogical/nonsensical.
Tess The world serpent comes from the future since Atreus gives birth to it. You would refer to it as a dead language because it is simply unknown and assumed to be from the past since Giants are supposed to be ancient. The fact Atreus births the snake and the way the various worlds exists with different conceptions of time proposes this. I do agree it could be categorized as foreign but that doesn’t nullify that it could also be categorized as ancient or dead.

The Boar that Freya said is the last of his kind, is *NOT* an actual Boar! Before leaving after helping with the herbs you can talk to her and she tells you that this is not the true form of Hildisvini. He was once able to take any form he chose, but he's so old and has been a Boar for so long, that she fears the Boar may be all that remains... Also, you keep saying that Baldr is looking for Kratos' Wife, but even Baldr is unaware of that. He was sent to their home and told to find the last Giant of Midgard. When Kratos open's the door he said, "I thought you'd be bigger. But you're definitely the one. Long way from home, aren't you?". He says this not because he knows Kratos is a God from another country, but because he thinks that Kratos is the *Giant* from *Jotunheim* ! Honestly the only God that is aware the two of them are Gods, is Freya and no one else... Freya's home was beyond the Protective Stave that was around their home, Atreus never left it till the day of his Mother's funeral. And it's never mentioned how far Kratos traveled from their home... Time in Hel is different from that of Midgard. Since Brok can travle through the Realm between Realms, he was able to go to Midgard and return to Hel in just a couple seconds.
So with this knowledge, you actually have *4* sins too many on your list. However, beyond that, I fully agree with all other sins. *;-)*
I'd like to add one more sin removal. The travel rune. The omega letter itself isn't the travel rune. You don't see it in this footage properly, but there are runes on the omega letter itself, like on an address book. So how it works is, Kratos picks a rune he has recorded on the omega letter and uses it.
Just thought I'd add this in case someone else hasn't done that yet. If they have, sorry for wasting everyone's time :)
Also every time a sin can be easily explained by the fact fray is a prophet
Well, actually time is slower in Helheim than in Midgard, which is why Kratos was able to save his son's life in time so Brok should've have taken longer to return even if all he did was hit it with his hammer bc time is faster in Midgard
I’m glad someone finally explained it! Half of these “sins” could be removed if you just payed attention to the story.
Yes read the actual myth before giving it a sin

Sin 54: It's clear that Faye's intentions were much more complex than just have her ashes spread from a peak. It's about the journey. She knew what was going to happen all along and how important both Kratos and Atreus was for the fate of all the realms. 16:40 I'd always assumed they were the same weapons throughout all his journeys. GoW1 They were stripped away by Ares, but he's given the "blades of Athena" soon after. Athena probably just nabbed them from Ares and gave them a fresh golden coat while Kratos walked to that cliff before giving them back. Then those blades got fucked up in the River Styx and were immediately repaired into the "Blades of Exile" in Gow3. So yeah, Always the same weapons just a new title with each repair job. -1
17:18 Norse mythology does mention him and all the other trolls though. So you're not really sinning the game, you're sinning mythology. -1
18:29 Because if you were paying attention, you'd have learned Tyr wants to test the goodness of any gods who came to retrieve the rune. Odin and sons would probably just let each other die in this trap, and the rune wouldn't become available to them. -1

I have never once heard any fellow gamer call their inventory their "magic satchel", whether it was in a game with an infinite inventory or not
8:13 well Atreus only really has his mom and Kratos for reference, and they aren't even human. For all we know Atreus could have never met someone outside of his family until he met Brokk.
The thing is at the beginning, you know that Baldur was looking for a giant ordered by Odin, but neither he or Odin knows what the giant actually looks like until Baldur met Kratos. Baldur assumed Kratos IS the giant he is looking for hence "I thought you'd be bigger, but you are definitely the one" So it makes sense that Baldur would later ask Mimir about Kratos and his son because he doesn't actually know anything about Faye or her existence
Dorko Weirdconsin I think his statement meant that he knew kratos was a Greek god. Especially since he follows up with saying “I thought your kind was supposed to be so much more enlightened, smarter, and better”. Then also as he fights Baldur he flat out says “who are you afraid I’ll find” so he knows it’s not Kratos.
In GOW though, Giants are about the same size as anyone else.
Oscar, I think him saying that was meant as a red herring. Because the Giants can see the future and stuff. Which would fit as well with what he says.
Nah, he did think Kratos was the giant and had no idea of his Greek godhood. Baldur was sent to retrieve Faye who we later find out to be the giantess Laufey. The whole “your kind” speech was referring to the giants, whom in this mythos were seekers of knowledge and wisdom, and were known to be more civilized than the “Aesir” gods: Odin, Thor, Baldur and the like. The “who are you hiding” was only interjected during their fight when he was hurled through the roof of Kratos’ cabin and asked “why were there two beds?”.
Exactly yes
The yellow painting that indicates climbing ledges etc. can be explained. Cory Barlog has said in interviews that Faye left those markings to guide Kratos and Atreus. She walked the path she foresaw them taking and literally marked the way for them. Yellow is Faye’s signature colour. Not sure about the chains though, perhaps she’s responsible for them, too. It would make sense she’d do everything in her power to help them, for the sake of her family and the preservation and protection of Jötunheim.
EDIT: got to the end of the video, lol. At least the dev team came up with a good/plausible explanation to conveniently placed “climb here” markings. Love the sin about vapour rub. That shit’s evil.
my complaint is this, if faye knew that kratos would need these hand prints to take him on his adventure, why make him go all the way out of his way, when she could simply give him the actual correct path. that just means she knew kratos would find fraya.
but i understand that faye could see the future, that raises the other question, does that mean she meant for kratos to also go do all the side quests. releasing the dragons and such. i mean that doesn't sound very imperitive to kraos taking the ashes to yotenheim.
12:00 she was a giant, giants tell the future, Faye knew exactly what was gonna happen for this entire game, and everything leading up to ragnarok. She knew they would find mimir so she didn’t tell them so they could slowly uncover everything themselves, including the truth that all that happened, with Faye knowing it all happened exactly how she saw it.

Climbing slowly and slow elevators aren't a mechanical weakness, it's honestly genius, it's the reason they managed to pull off an almost exclusively single take game, by having slow climbs be "loading screens" as well as elevators, but I guess people like to complain anyway
I also saw them as ways to cut areas into multiple loadable areas. Any time you have a boat ride into a small cavern, run around the tree's branch, crawl in a small tunnel or have to lift a fallen tree/pillar it really is just the game being cut in sections.
SIRLagalot007 and sadly those of us that use an SSD in our ps4 have to deal with these same times for loading. Kinda sucks. Woulda been better if they were sped up to be equal to loading time.
And most of the time we have Mimir saying something like an elevator music
You forgot to mention Kratos surviving that drop... why climb around if you can easily survive dropping down from cliffs and other obstacles.
The blades of chaos follow kratos. They always appear wherever he goes, so he just kept them

@Vicodyn Why?
@Vicodyn Ok I can see your point. I still don't think it should be a sin though, because people like myself, who know nothing about Norse mythology, had no idea who he was supposed to be at that point.
@Vicodyn I knew Norse mythology but was thrown off by the fact that, by my understanding, Baldur is generally portrayed as a nice guy in the mythos (by Norse standards).
Maybe I'm wrong but wasn't he supposedly the most beautiful Male God and that almost everyone (except Loki) wept for him to come back from the dead?
In a way, that moment is a nudge nudge wink wink to those who figured out that he's impervious to death (almost)
12:24 “This has been a series largely devoid of humor.”

Well, in myth, Loki is somehow the father of the World Serpent. So it might be that he taught him to speak "giant" or some language of his own creation, and everyone calls it "dead", because they just have no idea what the fuck.
Or, if you really want to use the timetravel mindfuck, this is like in terminator.
Boy learned that language from listening Mimir and Jormungand, Mimir learned it from the Serpent and the serpent learned it from Boy.

I just thought the man needed weapons
jaggernut -123 im late but i agree with you, sometimes the simplest answer is the actual answer :v
3:33 I think the reason why he's so hard on the boy is because he wants him to survive in this world because as he says later in the game, that they will have targets on their backs until the end of days. Also I feel like he's trying to undo his past mistakes with Pandora because while he was SLIGHTLY nicer to her, she sacrificed herself for him and that seem to mess with him.
Edit: also fathers are usually harder on her sons than their daughters and that seems to be a major reason.
Kratos is from Greece. Sons in ancient Greece, usually Sparta, were treated harder than daughters because of Sparta being a military state
The world serpent going back in time is the actual mythology and mimir even hints that atreus is the father when he says that the serpent knew him, and later respond that it IS possible (that he knew atreus) since he went back in time
Yea, even the world serpent recognizes Atreus, during one encounter, the world serpent says
I'm not sure where you got the time travel in actual mythology as there is no mention of it anywhere I can find.

5:48 it's called a time paradox. Since (spoiler) atreus is Loki, and Jormungandr is Loki's son, then the scenario is that Loki taught that language to his son, but Loki learned it because of the same son who traveled to the past and taught him that.
Remember the song of storms paradox in Ocarina of time? It's the same thing. Who taught who how to play the song.
Love that Ragnarok tore this apart
You gotta love the subtle foreshadowing in this game.
First, as many Norse people would know, Baldur dies by mistletoe, which is why the woman (freya, I think it was) tells Loki/Boy to destroy the mistletoe arrows.
Also, Boy asking if he can turn into an animal, then at the end of the game showing he is Loki is amazing.
This, this is what a good game should be.
Sin 11: Kratos wants BOI to be tough and disciplined, so he can protect himself.
the thing about how the titans or giants created everything ,and the gods just took credit for it ,well ,in norse myth ,its actually known that odin took crdit for what he didnt do ,its an actual fact ,that idea is not a game creator idea ,its actually from the norse saga
That's not the third voice actor Athena has had. That was her original voice actor from the first two games.
Woldwolf No she hasn't. A quick google search will tell you that. In God of War, God of War II, and God of War (2018) she's voiced by Carole Ruggier. In God of War: Chains of Olympus, God of War III, and God of War: Ghost of Sparta she's voiced by Erin Torpey.
18:20 Freya said that the temple was untouched for over 150 years so the vase being there does make sense it's the only hint we have with how much time has passed since GOW3 so why would that timeline not make sense?
It's also explained in the game that Tyr was a time and dimension traveller but seems he missed that too
Boy: Can I... turn into an animal
Kratos: Nani?
Edit: Reading the comments really explains a lot lol
I know this is a joke video, but some of these sins honestly hurt my soul because of how unjustified they are. For example, Kratos being more harsh with Atreus than Calliope makes more sense than if he wasn't, because Spartans boys train from birth and receive harsh treatment daily, whilst daughters are taught how to fight *and* get a small bit of combat training to protect their village. The kind of cold treatment Atreus receives here is extremely loving by Kratos' standards.
Also, the sin about dwarven travel between realms is explained right in front of you, yet you still feel the need to sin it? It's pretty simple. Dwarven magic is so incomprehensible for humans that they do not understand what they are seeing, so they see nothing at all. The reason why dragons can see dwarves but humans can't is like tracker dogs being able to smell for clues whilst humans can't. It makes perfect sense.
Also, there is technically no such "convenience" in this game, as everything you set out to do is controlled by fate. So let's say you decide to not complete story missions for over a month, instead focusing and completing all side missions before you face Baldur at the end. Well, technically Faye has already anticipated that, hence all the ledge markings everywhere you go. No matter how far you steer away from the main objective, or how convenient the main objective seems, Faye has already planned for it. Because everything that happens in the game was *meant* to happen.
Finally, because I can't keep going on forever, Baldur had never seen Faye in his life. Baldur was sent by Odin to find a giant in Midgard because that would be the only way for Baldur to undo the magic Freya had put on him. Odin was lying, of course, but bear in mind, Odin didn't say, "Go find the giant known as Laufey. She's a woman, who has an axe, and she's living in Midgard. Can't miss her." All he said was, "Go find the giant hiding in Midgard." Much more vague, which is why Baldur mistook Kratos for being the giant in question. Everything Baldur says to Kratos when they first meet clearly tell us he is looking for a giant, but at the time, we thought he was talking about Kratos, which is a testament to how fantastic the dialogue in this game is. For example, when Baldur says, "Thought you'd be bigger...", he's referring to how Giants are typically big creatures, but we thought he was smack-talking about how the Ghost of Sparta wasn't as big as he thought he'd be. When Baldur says, "I thought you're kind was supposed to be so enlightened-", he's referring to how the giants were supposed to be the most intelligent of all the races, but we thought he was talking about how the Greeks were so enlightened in their science and philosophy.
Oh yeah, and for the love of God (of War), do some research before you post these videos. The only way to make these videos funny is if the sin is completely justified and is actually a flaw within the game's story. Making unjustified sins makes the video irritating to watch. It doesn't matter if you only sin once, as long as it is a good sin. E.g. Kratos never tried to look for the Blades of Chaos, instead trying as hardest as he could to throw them away, or banish them for good. But because the Blades are cursed, they always found their way back to him, which is why he keeps them tucked away in his home, as a reminder of the atrocities he has committed.
But all in all, it was a good video, and it had me laughing a couple of times. And remember what Kratos has said: "Speed costs accuracy.".
Sin 65: that was the joke. Don't sin jokes, it makes it seem like you have no sense of humour

Also, sinning Brok for "stepping behind a stone" to upgrade the Blades of Chaos because "I see no smithing equipment back there," when Brok literally says a half second before, "I left my equipment in Midgard, be right back."
The worst part about the story is that it has an ending
Isolation 117 the next part will start Kratos killing Thor and taking his hammer.
Don't know if you are being serious or not, but I can easily see that happening
Well we know Ragnorok cannot be prevented. Kratos might be put in a position where he has to kill his son, but is unable to. Then the end happens.
Isolation 117 The worst part was the reveal for Atreus
Wildwolf The ending is great. It finishes many of the plot build ups all at the same time, which is needed for a great ending. It still has a sense of mystery, and sets up very well for the sequel. It told us just enough to satisfy us, while leaving us wanting more.
What is in your mind a great ending? God of War 3, when Kratos stabs himself and just dies!?
Great video! Been looking forward to this one.
Just so you know, Athena is actually voiced by her original voice actress in this game. I wasn't certain of this at first but I looked it up and it was Carole Ruggier here.
2:48 At this point in the game, the player is given next to NO hint as to who Kratos is fighting other than the fact that he cannot feel pain. You'd have to know a decent amount about Norse Mythology to know about Baldur seeing as Baldur is not near as famous as Thor, Odin, or Freya. Also, just because the PLAYER knows who Baldur is, does NOT mean Kratos knows, so just because the player recognizes Baldur will be back, does not really take away from anything :l
The lore of the game is that his wife saw the future and knew the path they would walk and she painted their path.
Boy can survive in Helheim because he's Loki
I know it's a game and differs from the real norse mithology, but it does not add up. Helheim's ruler is Hel, who is Loki's daughter. Loki clearly does not have a daughter in the game, so who the hell rules over Helheim?

another sin: baldur refers to Kratos as "the tattood man", while EVERYONE you meet has tattoos al over there bodies
Except Mimir isn't dumb, tattooed man would lead you to believe he is male, he's obviously not talking about Thor or his sons because why would he need to look for them? We never meet a tattooed man that travels with a child, so no that's not a sin.
I think the Vikings used to refer to their “tattoos” back at the time as symbolic runes that they’d “tattoo” on their bodies, hence, I think by asking about a “tattooed man” it’s pretty obvious that it’s one that’s different, since Kratos’s tattoos latterly means nothing to them and the Norse, but to him personally from his good old times back in Ancient Greece. Although, most of the sins in this video are faulty, but it just seems like the team behind the channel never actually played the game known that almost in every 5 minutes during the gameplay there’s something about the story to be explained, either through Mimir’s tales, collectibles, lore written in runes that boy adds to his journal, and mostly from playing the damn game and exploring the story further, but it was a fun video none the less.
@@arandomperson3840 "tatooed man" wasn't specific. if i was to search a bald man, even if there are no other bald men around,i won't address him as such. it'll make more sense if baldur just refers him as "the fugitive giant" or "man who kicked my butt earlier"

@@arandomperson3840 At that moment Baldur hasn't met Atreus yet.

There is still a plot hole that is never explained: who the hell called the world serpent while Boy was sick?
Mimir said that only him can speak with Jormungand and the serpent hates the asgardian gods so it can't be Baldur (also the other gods were still in asgard at the moment).
It's something that is never mentioned again which is pretty weird considering that they know they are being chased.
I see 2 possibility. They cut something from the game and forgot to fix that plot hole or we will see time travel in the next game(s). If we look at the mythology and how things are going in the game then the world serpent shouldn't exist yet. Many people have noted things that could lead to time travel elements in the future games.
Maybe baldur swooped in on his dragon blew the horn and flew away, he doesn't need to speak to the serpent just to get its attention and make it move
Isn't his dragon dead by that point?
The horn was blown while he was using the lift up to Freya's house, way before the fight with baldur ontop the dragon
Still weird how anyone would need the serpent to move especially if that person can travel with a dragon. I still like to believe it's something we will learn in the next game. The entire game is crafted so perfectly that it can't just be Baldur wanted it to move. When Atreus falls ill it start a red storm. I like to imagine that Future Kratos or Atreus chose that very moment to talk to the serpent because they knew from the storm that Kratos and Atreus were too busy to investigate the horn.
