  • Having lived, worked and endured public transport in New York City for 9 years, Kristen decided it was finally time to get back on two wheels and buy her dream bike; a Triumph Bonneville.
When that time finally came, Kristen not only found all the great things that come with riding a motorcycle, but she also rediscovered New York City in a whole new light.

Loved the video but let's not forget that loud pipes will usually be obnoxious for everyone but the rider. And no one will be offended by bright clothing. I've been commuting with stock pipes and bright colors for 11 years without a single accident. I would love to see lane splitting legalized in all 50 US states, just as it is legal across most of Europe. But few voters want to see an increase in loud bikes so the adoption of lane splitting will be slow. Just something to consider. That's all. Carry on. Be safe.

Thats why you never see a motorcycle outside a psychiatrist office unless it belongs to the psychiatrist

When you ride in a car you are in a cage, sort of separated from the world. When you ride a bike, you are part of the world. You are out there enjoying everything around you.

Great video. Great story. But let's try to not disparage public transit toooo much ;-) It is the cleanest, smartest, most responsible way to move 8 million people per day.

A lovely woman on a lovely bike. I don't agree with the "loud pipes save lives" idea that she espouses when she has done nothing else to increase her conspicuity or protection. Hey, if you like to hear a throatier rumble from your bike's engine, that's fine. Justifying loud pipes as a safety measure is kinda silly. I had Dunstalls on my Norton, so I appreciate a rorty rumble as much as anyone. I didn't think they made me safer.

Pretty woman on a beautifull bike! She made a good choice riding a Bonnie. I hope she will enjoy it for a long time.

She’s worried about safety but is wearing an open face helmet and a t-shirt 😂

As a female rider who is anxiously awaiting a third season with my license, I appreciated this video. Riding a bike does open up a whole new world. And I can't see myself of getting tired of riding, or ever not riding/owning a bike for the rest of my capable life.

Welcome to Triumph. I've put 50,000+ miles on my '01 955i Speed Triple. Each time I sit on my bike I feel the thrill I had as a kid.
