when I got on youtube to learn about spray painting I had no idea about spray guns or painting. if it wasnt for your videos i would have never known how much to spend or where to buy and never would have known about sprayguns direct. your vids and info has been a real game changer in getting me in the know. keep up the good work mate. dont try to justify what you do to anyone. the internet is full of people trying to bring other people down to their miserable level and cant just be happy for others that are doing well for themselves. we can see how hard you work. most people have never tried to film and edit a video and will understand how much extra time and effort goes into a normal a job.

Stay true Gunny. I'm never gonna buy one because the price is ridiculous when you can get a pro lite for less than £250 or $500 aussie dollars. Who would want 1 Sata instead of 3 pro lites.

Completely agree about Sata, great guns but no better than a pro-lite. I do particularly like their old pre-hvlp designs. I have a Jet-90 in my collection that I use for garage jobs or anything smaller compressor. Still today the Jet-90 is a beast. And don’t even waste your energy with the negativity on any social media. Do your thing and keep it moving. Obviously there are way more people who appreciate what you do 👍

Nice gun but I bet tomorrow you will be going back to the good old ProLite 😁👍 Nothing against Sata or the Phaser but you can get just as good a finish with the much cheaper FLG5 or LPH-400

That is one cool looking gun! Only thoughts is the handle how its hollow. You might get dust if sitting out in the shop and land while spraying a hood or roof. Not sure though

Very “unique” looking gun! Looks like it puts out a lot more overspray compared to your pro lite. Gunman have you heard of “Star” paint guns? What’s your thoughts on those?

I just noticed in the pic that the handle says RP but it has green on the cap and the green caps are HVLPS guns .
The guy training me has 3 sata jets x 5500 for base and clear so I’ve gotten to spray with them quite a bit and yes they do spray quite nice but the amount of hype built up around them doesn’t live up to its performance and definitely not price. Surely does spray nice but unless yo got money to burn there are plenty of more value-friendly options like the tekna pro lite or even the dv1.

This is one gun I want in my arsenal. I have an eastwood, it sprays pretty good with very little orange peel , but I'm looking to upgrade .

Spray guns should be reviewed strictly on how it performs. Not have price and looks factor in. Your usually on point with that Gunman. Ive seen alot of reviews go south because of price which has nothing to do with how it performs. Its up to us if we want to spend the money or not.
hi gunman i used to watch your videos possibly 6 7 years ago and there was a video where you was using either a sata or a iwata to do some clear coat and i remember the fan was massive and it covered the door in what seemed like 4 passes can you remember what gun that was or just tell me which gun has the biggest usable fan please much appreciated
Hey gunman. Love your work. I have a HZ Holden sedan that my grandfather bought brand new in 1978. It’s been in storage for about 30 years and only has 55000km original km. I’ve been too scared to touch it but it’s time to bring it back to life. Would love some advice on what to do. I know your a very busy bloke but would love your input

Where in Canada?
You might look into the Tekna Prolite. Very economical gun, but sprays with the best of them.
Devilbiss flg 5 , GPI, GTI pro Lite or Iwata w400 Bellaria is what I recommend.

Hey I love your videos! I Learn a lot from your videos. work at a aluminum boat companies in a small town in the USA up by Canada. I’ve painted with my father for 1 and half years but I wanted more spray time so I started this job and work in prep but I’m about to go into paint. Base clear. Im looking for a sata 5500 for work. I have a 2 year old and I’m pretty young with not a lot of money but I’d love to purchase that gun from you.

I love my sata gunny and take no offense to your review and do agree also on the price point it is somewhat ridiculous..but i haven't bought a new gun in 20 yrs back then i believe i paid around 500 for my satajet 2000 still bit pricey but made to last

I have a question that what kind of air compressor we can use with Devilbiss gti pro lite.
And are those dip your car earlex compressor and gun syestem good enough for using regular paint in them .
Or provide enough air through deveilbis gti gun if we use devilbis gun on earlex compressor that is so compact.
