Nikki I HIGHLY HIGHLY recommend next time visit Kanazawa instead of Kyoto, its got the same vibe but no where near as crowded and honestly way more beautiful!! it's one of our favourite cities now😍
AND spend at least 1 night near Mt Fuji, not a day trip. We stayed at a inn with the view of mt Fuji from our room. The night we got there it was pouring rain and we thought no way will we see Fuji, but the staff assured us that in the morning we will and yep at 6am we had a FULL VIEW of Fuji!! you have way more chance when you are there longer than a day or a couple of hours. 😍💕

I never really had a desire to go to Japan, but after watching this blog it makes me want to book a flight!
a little out of the way, but strawberry picking farms during late winter-early spring time is amazing. Best strawberries you'll ever have and you will get ruined from them because no strawberries will ever compare after that. Also, Okinawa is a cool visit!
I would love to know more about pricing of things cost of the trip overall. We're going next year but haven't started planning yet❤

That “hot tub” is their version of a bath. So you bathe in there before you shower. ☺️ Kind of like washing yourself off first before entering a swimming pool.
There is actually a gene quite common among asians which controls the type of perspiration (sweat) and it's odor. This gene is way less common for other populations like caucasians for example. That's why people around you didn't smell as strongly.
